This will be a truly outstanding sale of fine quality European antiques and collectibles, as well as some notable American furniture and art.  The wonderful estate is nestled atop scenic Missionary Ridge, just next door to the Bragg Reservation, a national historic military site, which was overtaken in the siege of Chattanooga during the Civil War.

Some highlighted items include impeccable pieces of 19th century Chinoiserie lacquered furniture, made for English markets, with brilliantly detailed oriental motifs.  The arrangement of dining furniture is breathtaking; centered by a Mid-1800's Georgian style triple pedestal table, and flanked by some of the most wonderfully carved Chippendale chairs we've ever offered.  The master bedroom boasts an incredibly stately, handmade Jacobean style canopy bed, with heavily carved boards, and soft touches of white tufted linen in the canopy to balance the ensemble.  There are also several 19th Century desks & tables with elegant leather inlay, some of which feature versatile folding designs to suite any room or occasion.  Almost every piece in the home is refreshingly unique and made to the highest standard of craftsmanship. 

For those looking for excellent collectibles, there is much to offer.  Mentionable items include a large collection of hand carved wood sculptures by Birdhug Studio, which are masterfully crafted and hand painted.  There is a menagerie of fine crystal, especially from Waterford and other Irish crystal makers, and also many pieces of American Brilliant cut crystal.  You will also find some unique pieces of pottery & porcelain from various makers including Moorcroft, Boehm, Gustavberg, Royal Doulton, and others. This will be a sale that you will not want to miss this year!
