Jackson Family Estate Sale "A Bear Jamboree!"

THURSDAY ADDITIONS INFO & PICTURES:

I am offering some fine jewelry at this sale. They were professionally appraised in February of this year they will be offered at a discount from said appraisal. They will not be in the home until right before the sale starts when they will be delivered. I also have some more fine jewelry as well as a selection of costume jewelry. This will be kept near or at that cash station.

I have also added some more photos I kept them near the beginning regardless of room for easy viewing.

More info.. The dolls in addition to Himstedt we have Good-Knowles fine dolls, Daddy Long Legs and the Obama Inaugural dolls and a selection of much more.  In the Bear category in addition to Almost a complete Raikes collection.. many signed... we have bears from.. Bearly There, Family Tree Bears, Brass Button Bears, Beanies of all shapes and sizes and the Taco Bell dogs. Much... much more!

What can I say about Hazel & Edward Jackson's home that the photos won't be able to tell you. I can say this home was occupied by 2 people very much in love.. I found scattered around the home small notes that spoke of love and happiness between them.

Miss Hazel was a homemaker and certified nurse assistant. Her joy was her family and items she received from them. She cherished her family heirlooms such as the pump organ from her grandpa, nice assortment of clocks from her dad and dishes from her mom and her great aunt. She values various other items in her home and took amazing care of all things.. many items such as the better bears and dolls were covered to prevent dust and all the clothes were individually bagged to keep them clean and fresh.  She would always tell stories about her growing up poor in Springlick Kentucky and how her family would gather at her mom's house for music playing and eating. Her uncles played the guitar and her mom the piano and her dad the spoons! When she started her collections she learned everything she could about it all...her collections are deep and deliberate and many of them are signed by the creators.

Mr. Edward  was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was very involves with various organizations for MIA/POW and the UAW. His joy was those organizations and the thrill of the hunt with Hazel on trips for business and pleasure. He worked at Ford Glass for 40 years from CA to TN. He also stayed involved with the union throughout his retirement.  We have many of his tools for sale and they are higher quality and well respected and well-used.

We have attempted show you most items involved in this sale in the following photos... Jewelry photos will be added on Thursday as there are a nice assortment of costume  as well as FIVE GOLDEN RINGS.. yep like the Christmas Song wait until you see these amazing rings most were recently appraised for close to or at 1,000 dollars. We will offer them at a reasonable discount!
