ONLINE AUCTION LISTING (See below for Tag Sale Listing. Click Auction Link Above to Place Bids or Buy Now)
- Handsome Mahogany Double Pedestal Dining Table, 40" x 60". In good sturdy condition, with moderate wear to the finish. The pedestals are fluted columns with 3 splayed legs and they're very sturdy. The top is solid Mahogany, 3/4" thick, and would clean up fairly easily, or is a candidate for a refinish. It opens up for leaves, but we haven't found them yet.
- Vintage Solid Oak Drop-Leaf Table with old steel braces for the drop leaves. Measures 26" long, 42" wide with the leaves down; 55" long with the leaves up. It has turned legs on casters and does open up for leaves, but we haven't found them yet. This one had a plastic covering on it when we found it, so the finish is in good shape, if a little dull from age.
- Wonderful Vintage Globe-Wernicke Solid Oak Lawyer Bookcase with drop-down covers for all 4 shelves, plus a good base and top. Measures 34" wide, 11.5" deep, 57" tall as shown. It has 3 different size units in the stack. The bottom one is marked "D, 12.5" the second one up is marked "D, 10.25" and the two top ones are marked "D, 8.5". They have the original finish which has a few scuffs and at least one chip, but otherwise they are solid and still very handsome.
- Vintage 3-Drawer Chest with a Secretary Desk on the top, made of Solid White Ash, with a pickled finish. Measures 37" wide, 21" deep with the front cover closed, 43" tall. The 3 drawers have serpentine fronts and pretty hardware. The desk front drops down as it should, has good hinges and pull-out supports. The interior has 2 drawers and 1 door and 5 other organizing compartments. It's in super-solid condition, given the hardwood it's made from; there are a few wear spots to the finish, with the most being on the writing surface of the desk. Nice piece in an uncommon wood!
- Handsome Maple 8-Drawer Chest by Dixie Furniture, in good clean condition. Measures 56" wide, 21" deep, 32" tall. It has a double-bow front, ornate hardware on all the drawers, and carved feet. The finish is in good shape and the only issue we see is that one piece of molding is loose on the top right drawer. It also has the brackets for a mirror on the back, but we haven't matched a mirror to it yet.
- 12-Drawer Chest with Mirror, by Dixie Furniture, with a serpentine front and ornate hardware. Measures 60" wide, 20" deep, 62" tall including the mirror, which you can adjust the height on. This one shows wear through the finish on the very front edge of the top and there are a few other nicks, but it's still a solid piece in real Maple with pretty grain.
- Matching 6-Drawer Dresser with the same serpentine front, hardware, and feet as the chest with mirror above. Measures 33" wide, 20" deep, 26" tall. In very good solid condition. The finish is generally in better shape, especially on the top, but it does have a couple scratches on the bottom drawers.
- 3-Drawer Chest with a Bookshelf Unit on Top, by Heritage Furniture (Drexel Heritage?). 36" wide, 19" deep, 80" tall. The 3-drawer base is straight across the front and has pull-ring hardware. The top section is open at the top of the base and has 2 doors with an adjustable shelf in the center and a bookshelf above them. The wood looks like Maple and has a pretty grain; the finish is in good condition with a few nicks around the drawer edges and we expect would look really bright with a good clean and oiling.
- Solid Maple Queen Size Headboard with a serpentine top rail and turned spindles on the head and foot board. The posts and the center are all capped with large vase-shaped finials. Comes with metal rails. Good solid condition and just needs a good cleaning and oiling.
- Hammond A103 Organ from the 1960s, with power cord. It powers on and hums, but does not play. This may be because it requires a sound cabinet, but we aren't sure. This is a tube-based model, and there are lots of tubes in the tag sale. It was well cared for in the 80s, as there's record of several oilings in that period. The cabinet and bench are in great condition. A great find for an organ that sounds fantastic when it's in good repair.
- Vintage Art Deco LP Record Cabinet, with sliding glass doors on the front and turned legs on the bottom. The wood appears to be a Maple and has some cool grain in it, the glass doors are in good shape, in a clean groove, and there's one divider in the center. Perfect for your retro tunes.
- Signed Original Painting of a Vase of Flowers, by Calberta Bowden, dated 4/65. Housed in an antiqued white wooden frame; 24" x 28" overall. In good condition. Ms. Bowden was a local artist from Lenoir City, who died in 1990.
- Trio of Mink Coat and Stoles from various furriers. In the center is the darkest Mink, a stole from Lloyd's Furriers in Hartford Conn. It measures 16" shoulder to shoulder and is 19" long; in very good condition. To the right is a slightly longer one from Joseph Richer's Furs of Knoxville, also in very good condition, and the seams run sideways, as opposed to down. 16" shoulder to shoulder, 27" long. And the coat is from Harmon Fur Farms in Christiansburg, Va; it's in very good condition and measures 16" shoulder to shoulder and 30" long.
- Antique Thread and Sewing Supplies Box, in Mahogany, with Porcelain pulls on the drawers and door, and locks, as well. The drawers pull out simply and the door operates by pulling down on the handles to release the catch. The base has newer looking screws and may not be original to the box. Measures 20" wide, 11.5" deep, 29" tall. In good working condition with the original finish that has some stains but is basically in good shape.
- Antique Norwegian Sewing Cabinet, by A.S. Strommen, with the accordion pull-out sides. It's in very good functional condition with good hardware and hinges; it's nice and clean inside and out, with just a few light scuffs on the finish. Measures 20" wide, 11" deep, 23" tall, including the handle. When opened, the maximum length is 67".
- Bernina Bernette 335 Serger, with power cord, manual, thread rack, foot pedal, etc. Powers on and lights up, and the movement is free, but we couldn't get it going.
- Singer Scholastic Sewing Machine Model 6518, with manual and cover, in good clean condition. Powers on, lights up, and runs.
- Necchi Model 537FA Sewing Machine with foot pedal and power cord. Powers on, lights up and the motor runs, but it acts like it needs some oil, or cleaning, to make it run smoother.
- Unique Stained Glass Nativity with 14 figures and a back screen, all set on a mirror. They're all in good condition with no breaks to the glass and range in size from 2"-6"; the back screen is 10.5" tall. We've never had one like this!
- 30-Drawer Gray Steel File Cabinet #1, by Steelmaster. All the drawers open smoothly and they all have handles with a slot for identification on them. Measures 30" wide, 12" deep, 36.5" tall. The drawers are 9.25" x 11.5" internally.
- 30-Drawer Gray Steel File Cabinet #2, just like the previous one, but the Steelmaster tag is off of this one. All the drawers open smoothly and they all have handles with a slot for identification on them. Measures 30" wide, 12" deep, 36.5" tall. The drawers are 9.25" x 11.5" internally.
- Awesome Mid-Century Industrial Style Floor Lamp #1, possibly from a hospital, by the Nightingale Adjustable Fixture Company. It has adjustable height and an upper section that angles off to the side to keep the globe centered over the base. It's all in an industrial look with a tan color and there's a plastic bulb-shaped diffuser that goes under the bulb itself housed under the metal top, which has a vented top to let the heat out from an incandescent bulb. The shade is 12" diameter, it has a good heavy base, and has a power outlet halfway up the column, with 2 switches--one for the light, one for the outlet. The height adjusts from as low as 50", up to 60".
- Awesome Mid-Century Industrial Style Floor Lamp #2, possibly from a hospital, by the Nightingale Adjustable Fixture Company.
- Awesome Mid-Century Industrial Style Floor Lamp #3, possibly from a hospital, by the Nightingale Adjustable Fixture Company.
- Antique Mission Oak Bookcase with 5 shelves, with straight simple lines you'd normally find on a Mission Oak piece. The wood is solid Oak and the finish shows wear but there's no bad gouges or chips. The shelves are adjustable.
- Vintage Mahogany Trapezoid-Shaped Buffet with cool Mid-Century Style doors that are paneled with half-moon pieces at the top and the bottom. The top pieces act as a handle, so it has no hardware. This one has seen use over the years, so there are some scuffs and chips, but overall it's a good solid wood unit that could be brought back to its prime with a little love. It has 2 doors on the front and 1 shelf inside. Measures 60" wide, 18" deep, 30" tall.
- Another Interesting Mid-Century Buffet. This one is Mahogany with a green stain and an attractive Travertine tile top. The doors are fluted with faux columns on the corners and the left door has a lock but we haven't matched a key to it yet. It sits on short bun feet. Measures 39" wide, 17" deep, 32.5" tall. It's in good overall condition with scuffs to the stain, mostly just around the bottom trim.
- Small Mahogany Corner Cabinet with 2 doors on the base and 3 shelves in the upper section. The 2 uppermost shelves have plate grooves on the back and there's a serpentine molding across the top and a half-moon molding over the topmost shelf. Measures 22.5" across the front, comes out about 17" from the corner, 63" tall.
- Bassett Maple China Cabinet with 4 glass doors on top and 3 drawers with 2 doors on either side on the bottom. 66" wide, 18" deep, 82" tall. It has 2 internal glass shelves, and a light and it's in very good overall condition, with no breaks or repairs, and all the original hardware. It has a few light scuffs to the finish that could be retouched with a furniture pencil. The base is serpentine, it's flat across the top, and the side doors on the top section have pretty metal decorative designs on top.
- 8-Drawer Steel Filing Cabinet with a white finish and silver handles, from Hobart Cabinets. It's in good solid condition and the drawers are divided and have slides to prop up the contents, like an old school card catalog. Measures 15.75" wide, 26" deep, 62.5" tall, and the 2 slots in each drawer are each 6.5" wide and 4" tall.
- Antique Maple Rocker with a flat slat back and floral pattern upholstery. Measures 23" wide, 29" deep, 37" tall. It's in good condition with no breaks, but feels like it could use a little chair-lock to tighten up the joints. Also, it looks like it might have been stripped and not refinished, because the wood looks multi-toned.
- Handsome Antique Pedestal Table with a round top and base with heavy feet and an octagonal center post. It has a dark stain on it that's partially removed from the top, showing the bare wood. Measures 16" diameter, 36" tall. In good sturdy condition. (Note, the stripey appearance is from the shadow coming through blinds.)
- Mid-Century Sofa by Fairlane Furniture, with a tufted back and gold upholstery that's in remarkably good clean condition. Appears to have a delivery date of 1956. Measures 76" wide, 32" deep, 33" tall.
- Handmade Mahogany Mountain Dulcimer with card from the maker Dorsey Williams of Jefferson City. It comes with extra strings and a couple of instruction books. In very good condition, although it might be missing one fret. Mr. Williams died in 1993 and was known as "The king of the mountain dulcimer."
- Vintage Swivel Rocker from Livingston Furniture Company of Livingston Tn. It's in very good clean condition with just a little wear on the arms and backrest. It rocks and swivels fine and is a comfortable sit. The tag dates it to 2005.
- Fabulous Antique Lyre Base Game Table with the top that folds over and spins 90 degrees. Measures 18" wide with the top closed, 36" square with the top open. It has a stunning burl veneer on the base and the front. Some of the molding is missing from the edge, but the top is not veneer, but is beautiful solid wood, with book-match cut and each half is a single piece. The base is set on casters, and it is also missing some corner molding pieces. The table has a storage section under the lid when you turn it or open it, which is why they call it a game table.
- Outdoor Metal Fountain with a flower shaped base and decorative pedestal. It has a 26" diameter bowl with stones and glass jewels in it, and an adorable frog on a lily pad on the top. It has the pump and power cord but we have not tested whether it is working.
- Pair of Dryden Potter's Wheel Original Signed Pots in Turquoise color with highly textured finishes on each. The taller has the original paper label, and both are signed on the bottom. They're both about 9" diameter; one is 6" and one is 7" tall.
- Pretty 8-Drawer Chest with Mirror, we believe it's Maple with a Cherry finish, but it might be Cherry. It's #8101 by whoever manufactured it in 1967. It's in good solid condition with a modest amount of scuffing on the top. Measures 50" wide, 18" deep, 68" tall as shown, although the mirror is adjustable in height.
- Pair of Vintage Art Deco 3-Light Floor Lamps, in green and brass industrial styling. The one on the left is still wired, and the one on the right needs to be rewired. They need a good cleaning, and some of the brass has oxidized, but otherwise they are in good sturdy shape. They are 61" tall.
- Vintage 3 Cushion Henredon Sofa with a Bamboo pattern upholstery. It's in good condition, fairly clean, and still a good sit or sleep. 87" wide, 32" deep, 27" tall. (Sorry, lost the photosÖcome to the sale and inspect!)
- Antique Clarks ONT Boil Fast Thread Spool Cabinet with 2 drawers and painted white. The swinging drawer pulls still have the ONT label visible under the paint. Measures 22" wide, 15.5" deep, 8" tall.
- Handmade Vintage Quilt Top in a 4-pointed star pattern. It's in good condition although there are a couple of small holes and stains that should clean up easily enough. Measures approx 70" x 80".
- Handmade Quilt with an interesting Zig-Zag pattern, in very good overall condition. Measures approx 68" x 71".
- Handmade Wedding Ring Quilt with scalloped edges, in very good overall condition. All of the pieces in the rings are of flower patterned fabric. Measures approx 76" x 92".
- Large Handmade Quilt in Pink and Blue with a 4 pink hearts in the middle and concentric square rings radiating out toward the corners. In very good clean condition with no holes or tears. Measures approx 85" x 92". The quilting pattern around the edge is done in heart shapes.
- Handmade Quilt in the Fans Pattern, with an array of 6 by 7 fans. Generally all are in good condition--there's one that's pulled loose but could easily be reattached. The edging is done in a cloth that also has a stripe in each fan. Lots of pinks and greens. Measures approx 87" x 92".
- Another Handmade Quilt in the Fans Pattern, almost the same as the previous quilt, but this one has 2 places where it's pulled apart but could easily be repaired. Measures approx 87" x 92".
- Old Handmade Patchwork Quilt made up entirely of different color 2" and 3" squares. It's in fair condition, as some of the fabric from certain squares appears to have been thinner and has worn through, in some places worse than others. Measures approx 64" x 71".
- Another Antique Handmade Quilt, in a zig-zag pattern. One stripe in particular down the middle the fabric has disintegrated but otherwise it's hanging in there and there's lots of cute fabric in it. Measures approx 66" x 70"
- Heavy Antique Handmade Quilt in the Pinwheel pattern. It's in good condition overall but it does have a couple of holes and stains. Measures approx 69" x 64". Extra thick.
- Very Old Handmade Crazy Quilt Top that has elaborate stitching to hold the various pieces together. It does have condition issues with a few small holes and frayed edges. The pink felt in particular has some holes, but its cute enough to be worth saving. Measures approx 60" x 78".
- Antique Handmade Zig-Zag Quilt, once again with one stripe that's disintegrating. Measures approx 73" x 65".
- Antique Coverlet found in the bottom of a very old cedar chest. It has a black and white pattern with circles with a hatchwork square inside them. It is a double piece with a seam down the middle. Measures approx 72" x 85".
- Antique Handmade Quilt with 6-Pointed Stars. In good condition with just a couple of spots where it's worn through the top, and a little fraying around the edges. Measures approx 62" x 77".
- Large Handmade Quilt with a white cross in the middle and concentric square geometric-type rings. Measures 84" x 92". In very good condition with no holes or tears.
- Craftsman 10" Radial Saw, on a base, with a 2.75 hp motor, in good working condition. It has seen light use, but the top board is mainly grooved straight to front and back. The base is clean and all the graphics are bright and visible.
- Early Television, in the form of a Philco Predicta , with the original cabinet, wooden base, and massive remote control cord. The front of this model was prone to mildew, and this one has a substantial portion. Overall it measures 25" across and 25" tall including the handle over the top. Untested. (NOTE! Item 61 is the 'remote control for this cabinet. Thanks to Julian for pointing it out!)
- Antique Television Picture Tube, with an oval-ish shape that is 24" wide and 20" tall and about 12" deep. It's very cool looking, but we've not been able to discern a model # on it anywhere and we have no idea of its working condition.
- Nice and Sturdy Cedar Blanket Chest, from the Standard Red Cedar Chest Co. It has good hinges and lid, and super strong brass handles on sides. It's also on casters but it's missing the back left. It has a lock on the front, but we haven't found a key yet. 44" wide, 22" deep, 22" tall. In very sturdy condition. The original finish has a bubbly cracked look on the lid and the wood grain is still visible.
- Mid-Century Philco TV Cabinet for the Predicta TV in #58 above. (Thanks again Julian for teaching us this) The back plate is missing, but you can still see the big plug jack for the TV remote. The cabinet is the fun part, with its tapered legs and nice quality Mahogany. Still has the original gold thread-tinged cloth screen over the speaker, the Philco nameplate, and the cool gold metal plate on the right side with stamped horizontal lines. It's missing the knobs, though. Measures 20" wide, 15" deep, 20" tall.
- Lovely Bow Front China Cabinet with an antiqued turquoise paint job and an unusual door configuration. Measures 53" wide, 18" deep, 61" tall, and it has 3/4 columns on the front corners, plus 2 drawers in the base with gold drawer pulls and escutcheons. The doors are unusual because they overlap, as opposed to meeting flush in the middle, so the right side lays flush against the shelves, and the left side frame overlaps the frame of the right side door. There are locks on the drawers and the doors and an additional key lock has been inserted in the left door but we haven't yet matched keys. Inside there are 3 adjustable wooden shelves. Overall condition is very good and it's very close to the garage door, for easy loading.
- Underwood Golden Touch Typewriter, in surprisingly good working condition, with the original labels and paint, as well. The paten turns easily and all keys and return have good smooth functionality. It could probably use a cleaning for optimal performance. We think this came from Oak Ridge offices.
- TV test pattern machine, RCA model WR-648
- Antique Very Solid Wood Buffet with 2 drawers with locks on top, over 2 doors, over a full width drawer on the bottom that also has a lock. Measures 54" wide, 21" deep, 38.5" tall. It has a very faded yellow paint job. The top board is 1.5" thick and it's all wood all over! Very heavy. Great candidate for new paint or stripping, because judging by the back, it's either Mahogany or Cherry underneath.
- Patriot Forester Gas Powered Wood Chipper with a Tecumseh 10hp engine. It's on a 2-wheel dolly and appears to be in good clean condition, but is untested by us.
- AgriFab Tow-Behind Lawn Sweeper. About 48" wide and has a hitch for pulling behind your lawn mower.
- Briggs & Stratton Lawnmower with the blades in front of the engine, similar to a brush cutter. Needs work but client reports he cleared the property with this unit!
- Sears 4hp Electric Oil Fill Air Compressor.
- 4' x 6' All Square Steel Trailer with tires that are currently holding air. 1 7/8" ball size. It is rusty and has a little lichen on it, but appears to be good and solid.
- American Snow Sled Model 55 with good wood and rails and paint, and even the original rope on the handles.
- AB Dick Fluid Duplicator Model 210, also known as a mimeograph or ditto machine. Comes with a box of accessories. The wheel has free movement and it's dusty, but not rusty.
- Solid Wood Vintage Office Desk with file drawer, organizer drawer, and pull-out tray on the left; wide drawer in the middle; and 3 drawers on the right. The top is Mahogany but the drawers are constructed out of Oak. The top surface is heavily worn, but would probaby refinish. 58" long, 32" deep, 29.5" tall.
- Kirby Heritage Vacuum with the original box of accessories. It's dusty but otherwise in good condition. The large box includes the "Renovation Group" accessories.
- Amazing Computer Find, in the form of the Epson QX10 Computer, Monitor, and Accessories, all in their original boxes and wrapped in plastic. We're not clear on whether it's been used and restored to the boxes, or if it's really never been out, but we think it's complete. Great Find for one of the earliest PCs.
- Crate of Vintage RCA TV Service Data Bulletins. Judging by the paint stirrers that separate them, they range from 1969-1973. They're dusty, but they seem to have been kept dry and they're not stuck together.
- 4 Huge Folios Entitled "Harriman Tennessee Cleanest Town Entry". They all appear to be different from each other and include a wealth of Harriman-related memorabilia, including original art from school students, newspaper clippings, original letters, and more, all apparently dated to the mid-1960s. Condition appears to be good on all the interiors, and 3 of the 4 have good exteriors, as well. Fantastic local memorabilia!
- Vintage Conn Strobo-Tuner, in the chrome and black case, with a power cord tucked inside. Dusty but apparently good condition. Untested.
- Foley-Bellsaw Key Cutter on a platform with the motor and the cutting and polishing wheels. The belt is cracking, but it still powers up and runs.
- Pretty 2-Tone Art Deco Style Wardrobe with 2 doors on the front and cedar lining inside. It has a domed pediment on top, oval panels carved on the doors, and carving on the skirt, as well; it's set on casters. There is beautiful grain on the sides and the front, though it's dusty from being in the basement. We think it would be lovely with a good clean and oiling. 35" wide, 2.5", deep, 67" tall.
- Test Rite Fotolarger, Model 100D, Photographic Enlarger, with a cool industrial gray and galvanized metal style and red bellows. It includes a precise metal easel to hold your photo paper. The base is 19" x 24" and it stands 40" tall.
- J1. Stunning Antique Italian Cameos Bracelet, in 14K Gold, and with an original box from a Cameo Factory in Naples. The bracelet is made up of 7 links and each link has a different picture and color scheme of figures driving horse-drawn chariots. They're each held in a 14K gold frame. Total length is 7"; it has a good clasp but the safety chain has popped loose.
- J2. Another Italian Cameo Bracelet. This one has 8 Oval Links, all with scenes of houses and trees. It has a good clasp and the safety chain is intact. It's stamped "750" but tests 14K. It is also in a box from Italy. 7" long, in very good condition.
- J3. Super Lucky Lot of Horseshoe, Wishbone, and other Stick Pins. 13 Total, including we think some are gold or gold fill. Comes in a handy long skinny box that's just the right size.
- J4. 14K Yellow Gold Diamond and Ruby Princess Style Ring, size 8, with the original receipt from 1984. It has 5 concentric rings with Rubies on the outermost, then Diamonds and Rubies, with Diamonds on the inner 2 rings. Was $1000.00 in '84, but Rubies are more rare now, so our Buy Now price is higher.
- J5. Stunning Antique Bar Pin, in White Gold, with several Mine-Cut and European cut Diamonds. It's unmarked but tests 14K, it's 2.25" long, and has 2 large oval-ish Diamonds at the ends and 7 smaller Diamonds in the center with a total carat weight of just over one carat. We are calling the Diamonds "Mine-Cut" because there is a large window on the back of each. Pin has a good hinge and clasp and the total weight is 7.4g. Pretty!
- J6. 10K Man's Ring with a Garnet and small Diamond, and very interesting hatchwork pattern on the face of the ring, which makes us think it's handmade. It's size 8 and slightly out of round. 5.7g total weight.
- J7 14K White Gold Bracelet with Diamond Studded medallion in the Center. 7" long, 22.6 grams. The center medallion has 3 diamond in the center and is surrounded by two concentric marquise shaped rings that are set with more smaller round diamonds. Good condition with sturdy clasp and safety.
- J8 Extraordinary 14k Yellow Gold Pin/Pendant with Diamonds and Rubies. There are 13 pretty round diamonds with a total weight of approx 1.25cts, and there are two large Rubies with impressive Clarity, although the one in the center does have a crack. Total weight is 9 grams and it is very pretty!
- J9 14k White Gold and Pear Shape Diamond Wedding Set, size 8, in good condition. The Pear Shape Diamond Center Stone weighs approximately 1ct and is approx. K color and I1 clarity with a white inclusion. It has a pretty shape, and it is set a white gold band and fused to a White Gold Wedding Band that has to baguette diamonds to accent the Pear. Nice!
- 6-Drawer Very Solid Wood Chest of Drawers, with a painted front and natural Oak wood top. Our client remembers buying them out of a closed Harriman warehouse in the 60s. It's hard to find furniture made this durably anymore. Measures 60" wide, 24" deep, 32" tall. (This one has a bookshelf on top of it which looks like it was made to go with it, that can be purchased separately in the tag sale.)
- 14-Drawer Chest with a Shadowbox Top. Comes with the seashell collection enclosed. All the drawers have grooves to install dividers and some of them have divider grids inside. This is super heavy-duty; the drawers are screwed together; there is Oak edging around the top; and sturdy drawer pulls. 48" wide, 24" deep, 34" tall. (This one is crammed full of sewing supplies, sold separately in the tag sale.)
- 6-Drawer Chest #2, Very Solid Wood, with a painted front and natural Oak wood top. This one was near the bathroom and absorbed more moisture from the air, so the drawers have a little mildew inside and the wood on one end is swollen. Measures 60" wide, 24" deep, 32" tall.

The drawers all operate easily. We did take photos of both sides, and you should be able to tell the difference by what's underneath and on top of the desk. Due to its location, we will have to sell our way down to it before you can get it out, but fortunately it's a straight to a couple of different doors.
