Seven Seas is conducting an Online Only Auction, ending Jan 7th, to liquidate a great hoard of Collectibles including Coins, Jewelry, Watches, Civil War Relics, Native American Artifacts and more!  The Auction has 234 Lots and ends Friday, January 7th starting 7 pm.  We’ll hold a short preview on the 7th for people who wish to view items before final bidding.  Shipping is available for all items or pickup is available on Saturday Jan. 8th from 10 am -1 pm.  Address will be provided to winners on their invoices.

  1. Lot of TURKEY 1, 5 & 10 Kurus – great mix! Includes several types of each coin going back to the 1940’s and a superior mix of years within each type. Great collection for these harder to find tiny denominations.
  2. Lot of TURKEY 25 & 50 Kurus, plus 1 Lira with a solid mix of years in each type. Dates go back to 1940’s. Super starter set or for filling in gaps!
  3. TURKEY Coins from 2 1/2 Lira to 750,000 Lira. Dates ranbte from 1960’s to 2000’s, with some UNC-y coins in this mix which includes many types from the hyperinlfation days of the 90’s +

  8. DENMARK 2, 5 and 25 Ore Coins, with a wide mix of types in each denomination and many many years inthis lot. Inlcudes some German Occupation coins from WWII.Way over 100 coins here in a collection made with some care.
  9. DENMARK 1, 5 & 10 Ore, plus 1, 2 & 5 Krone. Good mix going back to 1920’s with a nice mix of dates and few duplicates. Again someone spent some time on this lot.
  10. Expansive Coin Collection from HUNGARY. Includes many 2 Filler as back as 1890’s, as well as coins from at least 3 different monetizations ranging up to 100 Forint in 1990’s. MANY types; not so many duplicates. Take a look at the pics to see how extensive this lot is! At least 200 coins.
  11. NORWAY 1, 2, 5 & 10 Ore over 100+ years! Tons of coins here in a nice collection that covers the 4 smallest denominations across several Monarchial issues. Great mix of types and years – again a super starter set or set filler.
  12. NORWAY Collection w/ 25 Ore thru 20 Krone. Includes 25 and 50 or, and 1, 5, 10 and 20 Ore. Very good assortment and many dates across the many types. Another nice one!
  13. Collection SWEDEN 1, 2, & 5 Ore coins, covering 100+ years! There are very few duplicates in this lot so almost every coin your seeing is a unique year/type. Dates go back to 1905 and there is a good mix of Iron coins from WWI and WWII eras. Good stuff!
  14. SWEDEN 10 Or upt to 10 Krona – includes silver 10 and 25 ore going back to 1907. Great mix on the 10’s and 25’s with many duplicates and probably at least a full set of of some types. Few duplicates in the 1, 5 and 10 Kroners.
  15. SOVIET UNION USSR Kopecks Collection with 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 & 15 types. This is a collection so it looks to have been curated with better coins selected and there are no duplicates in the 3’s, 5’s, 10’s and 15’s, meaning there are many many different coins here. Some UNC coins, too.
  16. SOVIET UNION & RUSSIA Collection with Commemorative Rubles from October Revolution Anniversaries, plus 20 Kopecks. Starting with 1991 there are crossover issues from Soviet to modern Russia and a great selection if Russia from 1 Kopeck to 50 Rubles, with all standard circulating types and a mix of years. There are many individual coins valued over $1 and $2 in this lot!
  17. ROMANIA Coins from 3 different Monetizations including 2nd, 3rd & 4th Lev. Coins go back to 1924. There are many types here and due to the nature of Romania minting on sporadic years there are many duplicates in some types and not in others. A good overall mix.
  18. Hundreds of Coins from POLAND – including many many types from different monetizations and also with at least one German occupation coin. In the photos, all the 1’s (Grozy, Zloty etc) are on the top row, with the 5’s below and on down til the last row is piled with 20’s and 50’s. Big batch!
  19. SERBIA, CROATIA, LITHUANIA, SLOVAKIA & SLOVENIA Coins including a sporadic mix from all 5 countries.
  20. UKRAINE Coin Collection with 1-50 Kopiioks. There are several 1992 for each type and then a mix of later years up to about 2015. Some high grade here, too, since they’re so new.
  21. SWITZERLAND higher Denomination coins including 10 Rappen up to 5 Francs. Hundreds of Coins in this lot with great spread of years especially from 1968-1990 and a few before and after. Great set builder!
  22. Collection SWITZERLAND 1, 2, & 5 Rappen Coins – big hoard! Includes dozens of each type with wide range of years, especially among the 5 Rappen which have 2 types and go back into the 1880’s and up to the 1990’s. Plenty of duplicates to build sets, too.
  23. SPAIN 5, 25 & 50 Pesetas Collection. A well ordered lot with not so many duplicates and many different years among the various types. (Remember you have to look at the little Star to see the actual mint dates on all the ones with Franco!)
  24. Spain of 1 Peseta Coins from SPAIN. Included Hundreds of coins from 1944 to 1980 in several types with MANY different dates (Remember to look on the star for the dates on the Franco coins.)
  25. SPAIN Coins from 1870’s including an 1870 1, 2, 5 and 10 Peseta Type Set, and 3 more coins from next type generation in 1877-78. Old stuff!
  26. YUGOSLAVIA Coin Collection with many types and few date duplicates. Look like effort went into putting this set together. Very good started or for filling gaps.
  27. Really Good Coin Collection from PORTUGAL – it has almost no duplicates meaning most of the coins in the pics are unique in date/type. Lots of time invested in this one! The highest denominations are in the top of the photos and the lowest at the bottom, plus there is a 100 Reis at the bottom, too. Great spread!!
  28. Coins from Portuguese Colonies MOZAMBIQUE, ANGOLA & MACAU. Includes a good type set with extra dates from Mozambique; 3 different types from Angola and one from Macau. Nice conditions, too.
  29. Fab Collection from GREECE inc most Post-War types! Greece had several re-monetizations in 20th century and this collection contains every circulating type from 1973 forward, with multiple dates in each. There are more older types, too, including a 1926 type set, with the oldest ones shown bottom right and there are a few Euros in here, too! Ooopah!
  30. ITALY Coin Collection w several 5, 10 & 20 Centissimi from 1800’s and 30+ types going on into 20th Century, plus a few Euros! See all the pics for details on the oldest coins.
  31. 500 Coins from Everywhere! This is a fun Lot that was generated as we took all the photos for lots 1-30 and found coins that were mis-identified and put with the wrong country’s collection. So it’s totally random. Weight is about 4.5 lbs so should have 450-500+ coins
  32. 64 Nicer Foreign Coins in Flips with ID’s. This grouping was gleaned from better coins from several collections and most have book values of $1-$3 each. There are harded to find (like Uzbekistan, Tajikistan & Ottoman) and several high grade. A couple of tokens, too and we like the ‘Nixon Penny’ which was an inflation joke from back in the day that seems kinda relevant again.
  33. 25 Coins from 1800’s or newer Silver, plus Churchill. Includes French Liard from 1600’s; UK, France, Denmark, Greece, Russia, Norway & Spain from 1800’s; Swiss Silver 1 & 5 Francs plus some Ottoman coins and a 1965 Churchill Commemorative crown from the UK!
  34. HONG KONG & CANADA Large Cents – ALL the Hong Kong coins feature Queen Victoria and are from the 1800’s and many of the Canada coins show her, too. Canada dates go into 1920’s. Great hoard!
  35. Hundreds of Coins from UNITED KINGDOM covering over 100 years of dates and types. Includes large cents back to 1900 and newer issues up to about 2000. Very good mix and over 4 lbs so likely over 400 coins.
  36. Huge Hoard from MEXICO – almost 500 Coins! The lot weighs 5 pounds and is unsearched by us, although we can see when photo’d it that it covers dozens and dozens of types and dates and 20th Century is well covered!

  46. 1965 & 1966 CANADA Silver Dollars. This is both years of this 2-year only type. They appear to be VF or better with heavy toning on the ’66 and some ennviro damage on the ’65. Both .800 Silver.
  47. 1966 & 1967 CANADA Silver Dollars, both in XF-AU Condition. Both are .800 Silver and the 1967 is a 1-year-only type for the 100th Anniversary of Canada.
  48. 1978 CANADA Proof Silver Dollar in Mint Box in UNC Condition. This one commemorates the Commonwealth Games. Top shape. .500 Silver.
  49. 1981 CANADA Railway Commemorative Silver Proof Dollar, UNC in box. We don’t have the cardboard cover for this one, just the black presentation box which is in fine shape and the dollar is BU. Commemorates Trans-Canada Railway and is popular for the image of the train!
  50. Lot of CANADA UNC Dollars and other Coins. The dollares include 1968 (First of the CuNi dollars), 1969 and 1987 (first of the ‘Looney’ dollars with duck image) and several Penny/Nickel combos that appear to be cut from UNC mint sets and are still sealed in plastic and come from a variety of years.

Also, An Extended Deed from 1863with a signature from Allen Caperton, a Bill of Sale from 1861, a 1862 from Cartersville, GA, Scott County, VA from 1864, a Timber cutting Contract and more.
