HIGHLIGHTS: We will conduct a Hybrid sale with Online Auction AND Tag Sale over the weekend of Feb 12-13 in a wonderful home in the historic Concord area in Farragut, TN.  The sale will range through 3 buildings and includes the entire remaining contents in the home, ‘carriage house’ and garage.  We have Furniture, Oriental rugs and Carpets, Kitchen & Dining, Art supplies, Art, nice Books, Jewelry, Watches, and nice small Antiques.  Our clients lived and brought things home from the country of Oman where one was also a known artist so there are some interesting items from the Middle East as well as several dozen original artworks by our client.  The garage has an awesome mix of, tools, random furniture, project pieces, wood and more!  Be sure to see both the Auction and Tag Sale photo galleries for the full range of this sale.
TERMS:  We accept cash and good checks; we also take Credit, Debit or Paypal with a 3% surcharge.  We also buy gold, silver and coins and tokens of all types so you can ‘trade’ for sale purchases with these.  Items purchased must be removed during sale hours.  BRING HELP TO MOVE FURNITURE; we will not have extra staff to help at this sale.  All Sales Final.  No Pre-sales.
PARKING: There is plenty of Parking in the area, but not much on Olive.  It will be best to park on 2nd Rd or at the church and walk the last block.  BE VERY RESPECTFUL OF THE NEIGHBORS; stay off grass and don’t block mailboxes or driveways.
NUMBERS:   We will hand out numbers on Friday around Noon. Take a number if you arrive early to determine your place in line when we open.  You must have a Number on Our Business Card to hold a place in the line.
PRICING & OFFERS All items in the Tag Sale portion are tagged with reasonable, well researched prices and are available for sale at that price from the time we open.  If you want to buy any item for less than the asking price, please leave a written offer at our checkout station.

   ▪    Small Original Oil Painting by William J McCoy, Jr, approximately 6"x8" overall. The painting depicts a mountain scene and there is an old clipping about McCoy from the News Sentinel on the back.  The painting is in good condition although it has gotten a bit dusty.
    ▪    Neat Black Cast Iron Crib, for decoration only, 53" wide by 38" tall by 30" deep. Perfect for dolls and toys but not for human babies.  (The side raises and lowers and the gap in the bars is almost 4", both of which are outside current required specifications for new cribs.)  Very good condition!
    ▪    Pilates Performer exercise machine in good conditon, though a little dusty
    ▪    Beautiful Oriental Carpet 9'4" x 12'6" in fair condtion overall.  It has a great design.  One end is more worn than the other and there is one small hole and another almost hole in the worn are (see last 2 photos.)
    ▪    Nice Antique Hardwood Drop Leaf Table with turn legs.  25" x 39" with the leaves down and 52" wide with both leaves up.  The leaves are supported by a simple swing-out prop on each side underneath.
    ▪    Wonderfual Hand-knotted Persian Wool Runner, 38" wide by 15'2" long, not including fringe.  There is an under-pad cut to size with it if  you want.  Good overall condition and great colors.
    ▪    Beautiful Oriental Silk Rug, 49" x 77" not including fringe.  Geometric designs and lovely colors, super high knot count, very good condition.
    ▪    Moghul Style Oriental Silk Rug with class Moghul Arch and Vase of Flowers design.  Great for a throw rug but also worthy of hanging, especially since it's silk.  High knot count, very good condition.
    ▪    Massive Oriental Wooden Trunk with unusual drop-down panel on front, heavy hand-forged iron hardware and Buddhist swastikas  cut from front iron plate.  42" wide by 20" deep and 22" tall.  Heavy, thick wood!  This chest was made to last centuries with heavy iron corner braces and sturdy hinges that are halfway up the front.  When you remove the lock (which is the Chinese style tube lock with a long flat key, all present) the top half of the front folds down.  The lid is not hinged and doesn't lift at all- very uncommon type of chest.  Perhaps the most unique feature is the pair of swastikas cut into the iron just below the lock; these 'turn' to the right and are depicted resting on a flat side suggesting an Asian, Buddhist origin.
    ▪    Wonderful Tribal Style Kilim Runner, 22" wide by 16'2" long.  This a woven piece instead of knotted like the other rugs.  It's holding up well down the center and one edge while the other edge has lightly frayed spots where it was rubbed by a closet door.
    ▪    Oriental Silk Rug, handmade, with gorgeous small geometric designs and high knot count.  46" by 70" not including fringe.
    ▪    Handsome Oriental Wool Rug, handmade, approximtely 4'x6' in good overall condition with one wear patch in the center of one side where it was by a doorway.
    ▪    Elegant Executive Office Desk with extraordinary history:  this desk was custom made in the country of Oman for the United States Embassador to Oman, and sat in his office at the US Embassy.  A Whopping 7 1/2" feet wide and 42" deep, with lovely textured leather top and 2 massive bases on either side, each with locking drawers, plus a pull-out divided tray on the right side.  We didn't get photos of the front but is paneled like the side shown and very handsome!  A rare chance for something very special and historic.
    ▪    Hand-Knotted Tribal Wool Rug with Three, 6-sided Medallions down the Center, On a Red Background. 54" wide x 8.5 feet long.  In good overall condition, although some of the fringe seems to be breaking off.
    ▪    Handsome Cordovan Colored Leather Sofa.  In good condition overall, although it does show some wear, especially on the center cushion where the color is a bit lighter.  Has handy Velcro to keep cushions from sliding.  Approx. 7 feet wide.
    ▪    Matching Leather Loveseat.  In very good overall condition.  Approx. 5' 4" wide.
    ▪    Matching Leather Easy Chair and Ottoman.  In good overall condition, although the color has lightened a bit on top of the Ottoman.
    ▪    Ornately Carved Antique Wood Breakfront China Curio.  Measures 5 feet wide, 18" deep, 6' 10" tall.  Has two drawers on the base, with carved flower medallions and heavy iron drawer pulls.  The top section has two small doors on the sides, both carved with scrolling heart shapes and fit with locks and keys.  In between, there are two shelves with carved fronts.  There's a third shelf above that and it's topped with a carved pediment.  Entire piece appears to be made by hand of rough sawn hardwood, and is in good, solid condition overall.  Note:  Other items shown on shelves are not included.
    ▪    Fantastic Set of 5 genuine Confederate Era Banknotes, all from various Tennessee Banks, and each a different denomination.  Includes $1 from Bank of Tennessee in Nashville; $2 from the Bank of East Tennessee; $3 from Bank of East Tennessee; $4 from Union Bank of Tennessee in Columbia; and $5 from the Mechanics Bank in Memphis.  These notes are in a frame; how they are attached to the backing is not known.
    ▪    Antique, Cast-Iron, French Woodstove, Pied-Selle Brevet S.G.D.G.  Has a Beautiful, Ornate Cast-Iron Body which is in Fair Condition.  There's an 8" section of side grill broken from the top, and a section of what looks like a see-through mica, missing from the fan-shaped panel on the front.
    ▪    Remarkable Antique Rocker with a Cane Back, Leather Cushion and Barley Twist Braces above and below the arms, and across the front.  The cushion is heavily worn and the finish is rubbed off on the arms and on some of the cane.  But it is still in solid condition.
    ▪    Small, Brightly Colored Kilim with Typical Tribal, Geometric Patterns.  44" x 67".  In good condition, though it may need cleaning.
    ▪    Handsome Sheraton Style Console Table with Vase-Shaped Inlays on the Center Front Panel and Above the Legs.  It has a Unique Shaped Top with a Slight Bow Front, and the Classic, Square Tapered Legs.  It's in good condition overall, however it is missing a small piece of molding on the top of the front left leg, as shown in pictures.
    ▪    Chinese Satsuma Vase, 24" tall, with Dragon-Shaped Handles, Fluted Top, and Ornate Decoration over the entire body.  There's an Oval Portrait on each side of Male and Female Pheasants.  It's in Good overall condition, with no evidence of repair.

    ▪    Pretty, Original Oil Painting On Board, Of A Small Sailboat On A Marsh.  Signature is very faint.
    ▪    Beautiful Floral Print on Rice Paper, In A Pretty Gold Frame 20" x 26".
    ▪    Beautiful Geisha Print on Rice Paper, In A Pretty Gold Frame 20" x 26".
    ▪    Handsome Map of Charlottesville, Virginia, Originally From 1886, and Reproduced Here in 1973.  25" x 37".
    ▪    Set of Three, Lithographs From "The Case of Mrs Samuel Bardell and Mr Pickwick" by Charles Dickens.  Included are:  Mr. Weller, Sr; Mr. Pickwick; and The Little Marchioness.
    ▪    Set of Three, Signed, Lithographs, of Animated Figures, two of which appear to be Winnie The Pooh, While the Third is Snow-People.  Can't make out the signature, but there's a sign in Russian in front of Piglet's house in one of the prints, so presumably the artist is Russian.
    ▪    Pewter Plate from the old Rathskeller Restaurant in Knoxville, by Wilson-Columbia.
    ▪    Set of Four, Ship-Themed Plates, Made by Churchill, in England, for Currier & Ives.  All in Excellent Condition.

    ▪    Small Elephant Figurine, by Herend.  In Excellent Condition.
    ▪    Antique Balance Scale with Copper Pans, In A White Marble Cabinet.  23" long.  Both sides of the scale have a window with two arrows inside, which are used to indicate when you've established an accurate weight.  Case is in good condition overall, though a little dirty, and the interior mechanisms seem to be working fine.

    ▪    Set of Four, Hand-Painted, Hitchcock-Style Chairs With An Unusual, Forward-Leaning Tilt to the Back, which actually makes it very easy to sit up straight.  Chairs have Turned Legs and Spindles with Gold Accents, and the Center Back Splat has a Fruit Themed Painting.  They're in Good Condition physically, though they could use a little "Chair Lock" to tighten them back up, and one chair is missing a couple inches of the rattan.
    ▪    Pretty Set of Lenox "Patriot" China, including 8 Dinner Plates (4 still sealed in plastic), 8 Salad Plates, 8 Bread Plates, 13 Cups/Saucers, plus Platter, Creamer & Sugar.  All Pieces appear to be in Very Good to Excellent Condition, and barely, if ever, used.
    ▪    Set of 16, "Regimental" Cups from Somerset Light Infantry of Jellalabad.  One is dated 1909 and another 1920 and they all appear to be Silver Plate, although there is one with a Chinese mark, that may be different material.
