HIGHLIGHTS
We have the privilege of conducting and absolutely fantastic estate sale in Farragut over the weekend of Sept 29-30, in a lovely subdivision in Farragut!  This home had fantastic items to start with, and the family has packed it full with more quality items from both the Town House Interiors store that the family owned in Bearden for over 50 years, and with the contents of a condo they are clearing!  MANY of the furniture store items originally sold for thousands of dollars. Plus there is a lot of great art and decor!  The selection of lamps is unquestionably the broadest and best of any sale we have ever done.  Chests, Desks and Tables in fine solid wood, by high end makers fill nearly every room in this 6800SF house!  Also from the interior design store we have a wealth of quality curtain rods, drapery and upholstery fabric and assorted all and ceiling light fixtures.  There are a dozen nice Glass Table Tops without bases; (pick your favorite piece and put it on any piece of furniture ot make an interesting table.) We have a hospital bed , hoyer lift, 2 scooters chairs and other medical items as well. The dining area has some fun vintage china and barware, plus a set of Wallace Grand Baroque flatware in fine condition. These entire contents will be liquidated in this event!

• Adorable Vintage Maple Bedroom Suite, including a 4-Drawer Dresser, a 5-Drawer Vanity with Mirror and Chair, and a Full-Size Headboard and Footboard.  The dresser is 30" wide, 19" deep, 45" tall; the vanity is 40" wide, 20" deep, 30" tall (lamp shown not included).  All the pieces are in very good sturdy condition with a nice finish.
• Adorable Mid-Century 4-Drawer Dresser, in a Blonde Wood with Great Chrome Hardware.  35.5" wide, 19" deep, 43" tall.  In very good overall condition, although there is a repair on the middle drawer.
• Awesome Large Panel Room Divider Screen, with handpainted animals and flowers.  In very good overall condition.  Each panel has a painted arched arbor around the edge with vines and flowers.  Two of the panels have dogs chasing a stag, and the other two panels have leopards eating grapes.  Each panel is about 18" wide and it stands 5' wide, as shown, but can be more narrow or wide depending on the angles you choose.  81" tall.
• Adorable White Wicker Round Display and Storage Stand, with 1 door in the bottom, with a shelf on top of it and a second shelf above that, and the piece is capped with a wicker dome.  16" diameter, 70" tall.  In very good overall condition.
• Very Nice, Sturdy White Wicker 5-Drawer Dresser  with a glass protective top, made by Henry Link.  Wicker over wood.  In Like-New condition.  34" wide, 19" deep, 48" tall.
• Matching White Wicker 6-Drawer Chest with Mirror and 2 Matching Nightstands, all with glass protective tops, plus the Matching Headboard.  All made by Henry Link in Wicker over Wood, and all in like new condition.  Chest measures 59" wide, 19.5" deep, 30" tall.  Nightstands are each 24" wide, 17" deep, 24" tall.  Mirror measures 28" x 44".  Headboard is drilled to accomodate either a full or queen Hollywood frame.  
• "Montigne" 3-Drawer Nightstand, in like new condition, from the store inventory.  Originally $1155.00 retail.  Measures 20.5" wide x 14" deep  x 23" tall.
• Cherry Buffet Server, with 1 Drawer and Double Fold-Out Top, by Harden, a premier furniture manufacturer.  With the top closed, it's an all-wood surface, and when you open it up it has a heat and water protective cover. It has beautiful hardware and is in excellent, like new, condition, having just come from the store inventory.
• Pretty Cream-Colored Loveseat, in good overall condition, although there are a couple small stains.  Brand name is hidden because it's been recovered.  54" wide, 35" deep, 26" tall.
• Unusual, Comfy Sofa that converts to a queen-size bed.  The back folds down, as opposed to a mattress coming out.  With Gold and Cream striped upholstery, in good overall condition.  
• Fantastic, Solid Wood Framed 3-Way Dresser Mirror, in excellent condition.  Originally $1600.00.  This piece has a beautiful carved frame and beveled mirrors in each section.  The sections are 17" wide, 70" tall, and when set up to see every angle of yourself, it's about 3' wide.
• Awesome, Multi-Tiered, Handpainted Planter by Chelsea House, in like new condition, from the store inventory.  Originally $1860.00.  This piece is on a square metal base that's painted to look like marble; has 4 round columns on the corners that are painted with a scrolling vine pattern; has a bowl about 18" off the ground, suspended in the center by braces from the corners; then there are 3 rectangular flower boxes that hang off the front and sides; and finally there is a planter basket suspended from a chain in the middle.  This piece is topped by a woven metal canopy which is then topped by a scrolling finial with a ball on it.
• "Madison Square" Solid Mahogany 4-Drawer Chest with Book-Matched Veneer and Bow Front.  With very fine brass Chippendale batwing hardware.  39" wide, 20" deep, 32" tall.  In excellent overall condition, although they did retouch a spot that was previously damaged on the top.  
• Wonderful Metal Floor Lamp with a Beautiful Square Base and a Papyrus Shape bloom above the base, also with a Beautiful Shade.  Original Retail was $750.00.
• Amazing Floor Lamp with a Table.  The base is brass and cream and the very bottom is 6-sided and has a 2-handled urn shape above that, supporting the glass table.  It has a beautiful pleated lampshade in excellent condition.  Table is 22" diameter and the lamp is 60" tall overall, including the finial.  
• Rectangular Glass Top Oak Side Table with Faux Bamboo bottom shelf and pressed cane accents.  23" x 28" and 22" tall.
• Amazing Hand-Made Copper Wall Hanging, with lights, of a bouquet of flowers.  5' wide, 40" tall.  Fully functional.
• Davis Furniture Walnut Square Accent Table with a Cloverleaf Base.  In excellent condition, from the store inventory.  21" square and 16" tall.
• Lot of Sunburst Pattern dishes by Mikasa, from the early 1970s, including:  4 dinner plates, salad plates and cereal bowls; plus 3 cups 4 saucers and a sugar.  It's all in lightly used condition and completely adorable.
•  Antique Oak Multi-Drawer File Cabinet, in very good overall condition.  You can see the gorgeous original Oak grain in one of the side photos--the other side, top and front have been painted green.  It has 3 regular legal-file drawers in the bottom and 4 library card file size drawers in the top.  All the drawers are in good working condition, though a couple of them are a little stiff.  17.5" wide, 28.5" deep, 53" tall.
• Magnificent "CTH Sherrill Occasional" Desk, with a curved metal stretcher supporting the legs, which are turned and fluted.  The top has a gorgeous checkerboard burl inlay and a step-back front.  Original MSRP was $2985.00.  In like-new condition, from the store inventory.  57" wide, 26" deep, 30" tall.
• Adorable Mahogany Desk and Chair by Madison Square, in like-new condition, from the store inventory.  Desk has a 1-Drawer Base with a fold-out top, plus it has an organizer section on the back edge of the top that has 2 little drawers in it, as well.  Chair has a nice striped upholstery seat, and has one little scuff to the finish.  The wood on this piece is beautiful!  27" wide, 17" deep, 39" tall.
• Gorgeous Lighted Curio with Internal Glass Shelves and Beveled Glass in the Doors.  This piece has glass in the sides, as well, and the front corners are cut at 45 degrees and have a fluted molding.  There are 4 internal shelves and they have grooves along the back for displaying plates.  In excellent overall condition.  36" wide, 14" deep, 75" tall.
• Authentic Reproduction by Craftique of a Mahogany Chippendale 3-Drawer Chest.  This piece has beautiful ball and claw feet; Chippendale hardware; and a large shell medallion in the front center.  It's a lightly-used piece and there are some marks on the top surface, but otherwise it's a gorgeous piece in very good condition.  40" wide, 22" deep, 30" tall.
• Great Quality Vintage Solid Oak Office Desk with 2 doors on the right, 1 drawer in the center and 3 drawers on the left.  It's in very good overall condition with just a couple of scuffs here and there from use.  60" wide, 30" deep, 28" tall.
• Enormous Wall Mirror with Stunning Solid Wood Frame with carved accents.  The mirror itself has a beveled edge and was originally marked $1589.00.  53" x 70".
• Fantastic Quality Madison Square Mahogany Chippendale Sideboard with 5 drawers.  The center drawer has a lock and slots for silverware.  It's in like-new condition.  52" wide, 14" deep, 33" tall.  
• Elegant Gilt Carved Wood Framed Mirror, in excellent condition, by Friedman Brothers, makers of reproduction mirrors since 1905.  This is a real wood frame with real gold leaf. The mirror itself has a beveled edge.  In excellent overall condition.  36" x 54".  (This company has rights to produce mirrors for historic Charleston, Williamsburg, etc.)
• Pretty Framed Original Painting of a Street Scene in Paris.  It's a bright scene with some interesting vanishing points, and has a lovely carved wood gilt frame.  42" x 31".  
• Extraordinary Square Shadowbox with mirrored edges on the inside and a large Peacock mounted to a shelf in the middle.  It hangs from a corner, so it's a really unique piece.  12" square and protrudes from the wall about 5".
• Signed and Numbered, Framed Print, Titled "Tea for Two", by Barbara Wood.  #123 of 975.  In a pretty gold frame, with artist info on the back.
• Very Large Signed, Numbered and Framed Hand Pulled Serigraph of a cuddling family, Titled "Caring."  By "Hessam Abrishami."  Signed "Hessam", and numbered #26 of 395.  Includes the gallery booklet from "Collector's Editions" in Canoga Park, CA.  This piece is beautifully framed in a gold frame and double matted.  Measures 43" x 50".  In excellent condition.
• Large Original Oil Painting of a Harbor Scene, signed Fazzino, in a lovely gold frame.  49" x 39".  Original store price was $2085.00.
• Solid Mahogany Queen Anne 1-Drawer Stand bu Madison Square.  It has pretty brass pulls and is in good overall condition, with some scuffs on the top from use.  
• 4-Tier Metal Framed Etagere with Glass Shelving.  The base is square and the next tier has concave corners and the top two tiers are slanted like a pyramid.  The gold paint is intentionally distressed to give it an antique look.  17" square and 63" tall.
• Adorable Handpainted Round Accent Table/Cabinet with 1 Door and 2 Drawers in the very bottom, by Bradburn Gallery.  It's in excellent condition, from the store inventory.  15.5" diameter and 28" tall.
• Gigantic 9' Tall Faux Houseplant in a beautiful woven basket.  In excellent condition, straight from the store inventory where it was originally $1095.00.  It was made by Toepperweine's of Texas.
• PAIR of Simple Low-Profile Easy Chairs, with bolsters, freshly recovered in pink upholstery, of which there is an extra several yards.  
• Fabulous Large Solid Wood (Walnut or Mahogany) Antique Linen Cabinet, in excellent condition.  Imported from England.  Circa 1880.  The base has 4 drawers with beaded fronts, and all 4 drawers have locks, and we do have the key.  The top section has 2 beautiful panelled doors and there are 3 pull-out linen drawers inside.  The top doors also have pretty hardware and a lock.  49.5" wide, 20.5" deep, 81" tall.
• Cream Colored Sofa by William Allen, Inc, of High Point, NC.  This piece is in the formal living room and appears hardly ever used, so it's in excellent and clean condition.  It has scrolling arms and sturdy square legs with braces.  80" wide, 32" deep, 33" tall.  
• Matching Sofa and Loveseat by Key City Custom Upholstered Furniture.  They're a dark blue fabric with beautiful birds and flowers in pink and green.  They have pillows to go by the arms, and the pink pillows shown are also included.  They also have arm covers, which are still in the original plastic, under the cushions.  Sofa measures 7' wide, 31" deep, 28" tall.  The loveseat is 5' wide, 31" deep, 28" tall.  Overall condition is excellent--they don't look like they were used often, if ever.
• 3-Piece Set of Matching Endtables and Coffee Table.  The two endtables have  curiously carved edges and a glass top over pressed cane, and measure 24" wide, 28" deep, 21" tall.  The octagonal coffee table is 40" across and 16" tall.  All 3 pieces are in excellent condition with no visible wear that we can see.
• Set of 3 Matching Coffee and Endtables, all with wickerover wood that has faux bamboo looks, and glass tops for each, by American of Martinsville.  The endtables are 24" wide, 27" deep, 22" tall, with faux bamboo framing and a wicker top covered by glass.  There are faux bamboo spindles on the sides and a solid wood shelf underneath.  Both are in really good overall condition.  The coffee table is 42" square by 16" tall.  The top is divided into squares by pieces of the faux bamboo, so it has 4 seperate pieces of glass on top, and sturdy wooden legs, covered by the wicker.  It is also in very good condition.
• Amazing 6-Light Heavy Brass Lamp with a round base, fluted center, and 5 candleabra on ornate branches with spread winged birds.  Original retail was $319.00.  
• PAIR of Brass and Marble Lamp Bases from the "Bradburn Gallery".  They're very heavy!  The bottom is a piece of square marble, and there's a stunning brass section on top of that, that has 4 winged birds on the corners and an ornate leafy cup that holds another round tapered marble section.  That is capped with another brass piece with zephyrs on each side.  One of them is wired and the other is not.
• Classy Rectangular Console Table with a beautiful checkerboard inlay top and graceful Cabriolet legs.  54" wide, 16" deep, 27" tall.  In excellent condition, with maybe a couple of light scuffs to the top.
• Classic Oval Mahogany Coffee Table with a turned center column and 4 splayed legs, tipped with brass, by Madison Square.  Solid wood.  It's in excellent condition, with a beautiful finish.  Measures 38" wide, 28" deep, 16" tall.
• High-Quality Cream Color Armchair by Key City, with a pretty flower carved at the top and carved accents on the arms and legs.  It's in excellent condition, straight from the retail shop.
• Pretty Pink Barrel-Back Side Chair with Queen Anne Legs and Tufted Back.  The upholstery is spotless and it's otherwise in very good condition, with just a couple of scuffs on each leg from use.
• Matched Pair of Cream Colored Queen Anne Wingback Chairs by Conover Chair Company.  In excellent condition, they don't look like they've ever been sat in.  29" wide, 44" tall.
• Pretty Oval Mahogany Accent Table with Pull-Out Tray by Madison Square.  In very good condition.  It has curved wooden stretchers between the legs and pretty oval inlay accents at the top of each leg, and a pie-shaped inlay on the top.  There are some scuffs on the top, which is the only thing keeping it from being excellent.  26" wide, 22" deep, 24" tall.
• Another Beautiful Oval Accent Table, this one with beautiful carving around the apron and on the legs, and an undershelf with pretty woven cane.  The top has a gorgeous veneer, and the whole thing is in excellent overall condition.  26" wide, 18" deep, 22" tall.

• Delightful Mid-Century Dining Table with 4 Chairs and 2 Leaves, by Bernhardt, with original upholstery.   It's in excellent overall condition and the family reports that it is always kept covered.  The finish is in extraordinary condition for it's age.  The table is shown with 1 leaf in, and there is a second one that is in very good condition.  Table has slightly bowed sides and pretty tapered legs.  The chairs have tasteful burnt orange upholstered seats, pretty slats, and are all in very good condition.  Table is 60" long with no leaves, and the leaves are 10" each, making it a maximum of 80" long.  40" wide, 29" tall.
• Mid-Century Buffet Server with 3 Drawers on the right and 3 Panel Doors on the left.  We believe it's a match for the table, but can't find a maker's mark.  It's in very good condition, except there are 2 cracks in the molding on the doors that look like they could easily be fixed with a drop of glue.  Measures 56" wide, 19" deep, 30" tall.
• Fantastic Hekman Buffet, in their "French, Carved Wood Loire Valley" Design, that retails for $4248.00.  It is in like-new condition, straight from the family's store inventory.  It has 4 drawers and 2 doors, with tons of storage space, and the upper drawers have locks and liners, and the leftmost drawer has the silverware slots.  Measures 68" wide, 22" deep, 38.5" tall.
• Large Handpainted 4-Panel Room Divider.  The painting is the scene of a room with an open door, so creates a cool optical illusion of depth.  Each panel measures 18", and the piece is 7' tall.  Original retail $1695.00.  In excellent overall condition.
• Another 4-Panel Room Divider.  This one is an oriental theme, with pretty birds painted on paper stretched over a wooden frame.  The paper has been punctured in a couple of places, so the condition is not perfect, but it's still very beautiful.  Each panel is 22.5" wide, and 6' tall.

• Extremely Expensive, Real Handcarved Wood Framed Mirror.  66" x 48".  The mirror has some damage because it did slip off a wall and break portions of the bottom of the frame.  However, all the pieces were salvaged and come with it.  The mirror itself is bevel-edged and in very good condition, and again, it's a real wood, carved section frame, not the cast foam that you usually see these days.  (The owners spoke to Jeff Hood at District Gallery and he said he can repair it.)
• Wonderful Antique Over-Door Leaded Glass Frame.  It is an antique piece that was salvaged from a house being torn down, where it would have hung framed by itself, over a double-door entryway.  All the glass and metal portions are in good condition.  It's an unusual find.  Measures 62.5" wide, 12.5" tall including framing.

• Jasper Corner Cabinet with a Heather Color Finish, in like-new condition, with an original retail price of $2229.00.  It's a solid wood piece, with 2 shelves in the base, which has a panelled door, and 2 glass shelves in the top, which sit in wood frames that have dish grooves.  The upper section has mirrors on both of the inside walls, and it's lit on the inside top.  Measures 36" across the front, comes 27" down the wall, and is 82" tall.
• PAIR of Stately Side Chairs by Hooker Furniture, with Silk backs and Velvet seats, all on a massive, heavily carved wooden base and legs.  They're in like-new condition, straight out of the retail shop.
• Salem Square Reproduction Antique Cupboard, with a broad 2-drawer base and a tall 2-shelf top with plate grooves in the shelves and gingerbread trim top and bottom.  The paint's intentionally distressed, and given that, it's in excellent condition.  55" wide, 16.5" deep, 77" tall.
• Unusual Side Table with a Wrought Iron Base shaped like a Roman chair.  The top has wooden edging with an etched metal top.  It's in good sturdy condition, there's a couple of scratches to the paint and top, but it's still really cool.
• Sweet Round Dropleaf Table with 1 Leaf.  Ideal for a small dining area.  With the leaves down and the leaf out, it's only 26" long and 41.5" wide.  Also without the leaf, but with the leaves up, it's 41" round.  Or it's 51" long with the leaf in and the leaves up.  The 4 chairs have turned legs, spindles and braces, and are nice and solid.  The turning on the legs matches the turning on the table legs.  The table shows a little wear on the top, because it's seen many meals, and the legs of the chairs are a little scuffed because they bump into the legs of the table.  But everything is still very solid and it's a very versatile set.
• Extra Large Black Iron Baker's Rack with Brass Accents around the shelves.  Each shelf is made up of 3 glass panes inset into the metal frame.  It also has a scrolling metal across the top and as shelf braces.  It's in good sturdy condition, the only issue is some oxidation on the brass edging.  5' wide, 15.5" deep, 81" tall.
• 3 Decorative Faux Palm and Coconut Trees.  The Coconut Tree is in it's own basket, and the Palm Trees have 2 in the same basket.  They're about 7.5' tall.

• Black and Decker Deluxe Power Shop Radial Arm Saw, on a cabinet base, in good overall condition.
• Large Wardrobe/Storage Cabinet.  Reportedly made by hand by workmen at the L&N Railway Station, where it stayed until it was sold off in the run up to the World's Fair.  The doors are made from bead board and the interior has a fixed top shelf and a clothing bar beneath, but it also has brackets for 3 shelves which are present inside.  It's solid wood and in good sturdy condition, with a great story.  The body of the cabinet is 57" wide, 19" deep, 79" tall.  It has a large bonnet made from crown molding that extends out beyond the sides, and it measures 67" wide and 24" deep.
• Unsigned Original Painting of Horses, in a Gold Frame.  In good overall condition.  46" x 36" in the frame.
• Matched Pair of Metal Framed Accent Tables with Square Painted Tops.  The legs have bowed braces and are very sturdy.  In like new condition, from the store inventory.  Original retail was $449.00 apiece.

• Wurlitzer Console Piano in a Fantastically pretty cabinet, with a bench.  The piano and bench legs are beautifully carved, Cabriolet legs, and the music rest has a checkerboard inlay.  It appears to be maple, has been well-maintained and plays beautifully.  One unusual feature is that the lid opens sideways and has a brace, so you can brace it open.  Serial #918915.  The interior appears to be immaculate.  Measures 58" wide, 24" deep, 41" tall.  In gorgeous condition.
• Complete Set of the Waterford Millenium Collection Toasting Flutes, Including 1 box of 2 flutes for each of:  Happiness, Love, Health, Prosperity, and Happiness.  They are all in perfect condition, in the original boxes.  These are also signed and dated by the artists, and come with the original paperwork.  
• A Lot of 22 "Dublin Pattern" 24% Lead Crystal Wine Goblets, from Shannon Crystal, made by Godinger.  1 Set of 12 is apparently unused, in the original box, and the other group of 10 appears to be maybe slightly used, in a similar box.  They have the original paperwork.  This is a beautiful pattern and the glasses ring like a bell.  All in excellent condition.
• Beautiful Handblown, Cut and Painted Glass Vase from Erpet Praha, in Czechoslovakia. This piece is Cased Glass, so has white coating over green glass, and is cut through to the green in places.  It measures 8" tall and is in excellent condition.
• Amazing Handblown Glass Egg, from the Borowski Gallery in Germany, although the piece is actually made in Poland.  This piece has a really exotic texture in colors of Green, Blue and Pink.  About 10" tall.  Includes a Gallery Leaflet.
• Adorable Waterford Crystal Baby Bottle, from the year 2000, Signed by the artist Jim O'Leary.  6.5" tall.  In excellent condition.
• Wonderful Vintage Blue and Pink Baby Rocking Bassinet and Mother's Cozy Rocking Chair.  The Bassinet is on a frame and has a chain and hooks on the bottom to make it stable , or it can swing freely.  The rocking chair has a nice blue cushion that is slightly faded.  The wicker on both pieces is in good condition overall with no breaks or cracks.  Bassinet frame is 4' wide, and 36" tall.  
• Lovely Short 4-Panel Folding Room Divider, with a Chinese Scene.  Made from painted paper on a wooden frame.  About 42" wide, as shown, with some potential to make that wider or shorter.  36" tall.  It has mountain and farming scenes and is in very good condition.
