Chuck and his wife purchased the house in 1998 and they have been the only owners since then.  He was an “old-fashioned” doc who practiced out of his home and also made house calls.  His wife, Shirley was an RN and worked as the nurse until she passed away in 2007.   They had no children.    As you walk in the front door, you will notice the hallway where his patients waited to be seen.   Off of his office, was a small examination room which still has the furnishings that he used during his practice.   He did retire a couple of years ago but still left the examination room.  

Chuck was very skilled at woodworking.  When you go into the kitchen, you will see some of the results of his fine work.  He built the oak wood cabinets and the large kitchen table to match.  Throughout the house, you will notice some of his other pieces that he built (a bench coat tree and a beautiful grandfather clock are examples).  In addition, to his work, the house has a number of beautiful antique pieces including a roll top desk and bedroom furniture. 

As for the details about the house, it sits on a 2.08 acre lot with a beautiful view of the mountain.  The back is full of apple trees, plum trees and grapevines and is a pretty site in the spring.  The information I have says the living area is 3,673 sq ft.  It has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a beautiful sun room on the 2^nd floor.  Shirley used the sun room as her sewing area.  I also love the large laundry room.   The house is heated by gas.    Back in Sept or Oct, Chuck had the roof replaced on the house. It is a beautiful red roof that really makes the house stand out.

Real ESTATE TERMS:  The successful high bidder on this property will be required to sign the Real Estate Sales Contract, Terms & Conditions and any other documents needed, immediately upon conclusion of the bidding and will make an earnest money deposit of ten percent (10%) of the sales price.  Soft Closing : The Auctioneer’s online auctions are designed to mimic traditional “live” actions. For this reason, this auction will have a staggered, dynamic closing.  A Staggered Closing: Auctions will be either soft close online only or live with internet bidding. Sold close will allow extended bidding until no bids are placed for one minute.
