ONLINE AUCTION LISTING (To bid, click the link above.  For the Tag sale items, see listing below.)

  • Beautiful Maple or Cherry Full Size Poster Bed, in excellent condition and with a clean older mattress and box springs.  The mattress topper and sheets are included, but not the Chenille bedspread.  The headboard has a classical "broken arch" pediment with finial, and the posts are 74" tall and topped with carved finials; the posts on the footboard are the same height.  This piece has always been in a guest bedroom and shows little to no wear, and the finish is in fine condition.
  • Antique Mahogany Side Table with a backsplash and handles on the sides.  There is also one drawer on the front and an undershelf with a serpentine edge.  29.5" wide, 15.5" deep, 32" tall.  In good sturdy condition with a very good clean finish, although there is a light water ring on the front left corner of the top.
  • Fun pair of Almost Mirror-Imaged Sihouettes in nice, 2-tone black and gold frames.  The silhouettes are essentially white paper with black over the shadow areas and both frames are in very good condition.  They are 16" x 21".
  • Sturdy Toy Chest with a green pickled finish, in very good sturdy condition.  The hinges are mounted to a backrest so it can be used as a storage bench, as well. Measures 41" wide, 15.5" deep, 23" tall.
  • Child's Antique Drop-Leaf Table with a medium finish that lets the woodgrain show through.  It looks handmade but has a model number on the bottom.  In very good overall condition and the hinges and leaf supports are in very good condition, too.  22" x 16" with the leaves down, 34" with the leaves up; 21" tall.
  • Antique Maple or Mahogany Vanity with beautiful woodgrain, a tilt mirror, and Queen Anne legs.  It has 3 drawers on the front with a 22" opening for a chair or vanity stool.  The finials on top of the mirror posts are similar to those on top of the bed posts listed above.  Measures 42" wide, 17" deep, 60" tall.  In very good condition with a nice finish; there is one small water ring on the top and light wear where the drawers slide in and out.
  • Fine Antique Windsor Cradle.  This style of cradle has bentwood ends with turned and tapered spindles, and it also has open sides with straight spindles.  This piece probably dates from the 1800s and it is in very good sturdy condition with no damage or repairs that we see.  Measures 37" long, the rockers are 33" wide, and it is 32" tall.  It also has turned supports across the bottom and a mattress with blue gingham cover and matching pillows, plus an article on Windsor Cradles cut from a magazine.

  • Handsome 2-Drawer Chest on beautiful legs that are fluted on the bottom and they have a spiral-carved pattern on the top.  The drawer fronts have oval drawer pulls framed by a delicate rim of molding, and the top surface is essentially rectangular but with rounded corners over the front legs.  It's in very good sturdy condition with a nice finish other than some light scuffs and one sort of thin spot on the top.  Measures 36" wide, 18" deep, 32" tall.
  • Elegant Vintage Lamp with a round fluted center column on a square brass and marble base, with a faux 4-light candleabra and a center electric 3-way socket.  Topped with a retro round gold shade with sprayed black edges.  30" tall, 17" diameter; in good working condition.  There are a few scuffs and a small nick on the shade.
  • Broyhill Mahogany Kneehole Desk with stencilled leather top.  In very good overall condition.  Each side has 2 shallow drawers over a file drawer and there is a drawer in the center.  There is a lock on the inner edge for the bottom left file drawer but we don't have the key.  It has brass Chippendale batwing hardware that's all intact, although one pull needs a screw replaced.  The stencilling on the leather top is in good condition.  54" wide, 23" deep, 29" tall.

  • Extra Elegant Queen Bedding Set including a tasseled comforter with tapestry-style upholstery and a blue ruched panel edging that lies at the top edge of the bed; with 2 matching pillows and 4 more pillows, two of which match the bedskirt, which is brown with gold stitched diamonds.  It all appears to be in good condition with no holes, tears, or stains.

  • Antique Mahogany Drop-Leaf Table with splayed legs that have brass claw feet.  Measures 23" wide, with the leaves down, 50" wide with the leaves up; 34" deep; 30" tall.  The hinges and leaf braces are in very good condition and the table makes a very flat surface when all the leaves are up.  It has space for a leaf in the center but as of writing we have not found one.  It's in very good condition with a nice finish that just has a few scuffs.
  • Pair of Original Watercolors of Parisian Art Scenes by the same artist and in matching frames.  The first scene is of a Parisian bridge, signed bottom right "Guy de Neyras".  The second scene is a painting of what is presumably this artist's street vending stall, with Notre Dame in the background, spire intact; also signed bottom right.  Both measure 16" x 19" and are in very good condition.

  • Antique Round Oak Table with 6 Oak Chairs, all in good condition.  Table measures 56" diameter, 29" tall and can open for a leaf, but as of writing we haven't found any.  Sits on 6 pretty turned legs that attach to bowed braces, supported by bun feet on casters.  The chairs all have vase-shaped backsplats with beautiful grain and carved claw feet on the front legs; there are 4 side chairs and 2 captain's chairs, which also have carving on the fronts of the arms; they all have cloth flower-pattern upholstery that's in good shape.  The finish appears to be original and has thinned in spots but is still very pretty.
  • Solid Oak Reproduction Pie Safe with upper and lower sections with 2 shelves each, and a drawer in the center separating them.  Each of the doors has 2 perforated tin panels and the inner shelves are fixed, not adjustable.  Measures 31" wide, 17" deep, 89" tall.  In very good solid condition with a nice finish.

  • Newer Solid Wood Buffet with 2 doors over 2 drawers.  It has a Mahogany top with an antiqued finish and  a green painted body with black hardware that's also been intentionally distressed to make it look old.  41" wide, 18" deep, 36" tall.  In very good solid condition with a few scuffs beyond the intentional distress.

  • Antique Oak Kneehole Office Desk with stencilled leather on top.  It has 4 drawers left, 1 drawer center, 3 drawers on the right with the unusual feature that the file drawer is in the center.  Measures 49" wide, 25" deep, 30" tall.  In good sturdy condition although there is moderate wear on the front edge of the wood and the leather in the center section.  It's shown with a glass top protector which is included if desired.

  • Vintage Universal Sewing Machine #S-48065, in beautiful condition, in a Mahogany sewing table.  The table has the fold-out top with a good brace, and the finish has a fair bit of wear.  Measures 22" wide, 18" deep, 31" tall with the machine put away, and 43" wide with the top folded out.
  • Outrageously Ornate White Metal Outdoor Furniture, including a table, 2 chairs, a rocker, and a loveseat.  The table is 36" diameter, with a plastic cover, and they both have a hole for an umbrella.  The chairs have huge fan-shaped backs and they're made of twisted pairs of wire that fashion into numerous curliques; 33" wide, 22" deep, 50" tall.  The loveseat is similarly made, 50" wide, 22" deep, 49" tall.  All the pieces have some degree of rust and flaking of paint, but they're structurally sound, with just a few spots where the twisted wire has actually broken.
