This update is in red font for 4/23/09.  I've had many calls on the jewelry with good questions regarding the authenticity of the jewelry. Several questions have pertained to whether I, or the estate, have hired a certified jewelry appraiser to review the jewelry. The answer is no, we did not do that. We did, in fact, utilize a local and extremely knowledgeable expert to help price the jewelry and identify the jewelry with his best effort and decades of experience. We are confident with his work and are extremely comfortable with the pricing and identification.  Someone asked, "What liability will you (Copeland Estate Sales) accept if what your expert identifies is incorrect?" The answer is none! This is an estate sale; not a professional jewelry brokerage firm.  We were hired to price all the contents including the jewelry with has much expertise as possible; and we are confident that we have done just that.  With that clearly stated, all sales are final in regards to the jewelry and the rest of the estate. If you have any doubts, don't purchase....as always. We have not brought in any additonal jewelry to this estate; what you see here in the pictures as well as what you will see at the sale IS from the original estate.
We have now been in business for 4 years and have achieved what we have by the mercy of the Almighty; and we do our best to provide a great service for our clients as well as the community of Memphis and any customers in the Mid-South.  We appreciate all of you! Sorry to be so wordy, but I felt led to 'go there'. Thanks again. This WILL be an awesome sale!

This is a fabulous East Memphis estate sale.  Featured will be over 100 pieces of fine high-end jewelry.  I have posted pictures to give you a taste of what we will have.  Jewelry will not be kept on the premises.

We will have 2 armed guards for this sale as well as several cameras/monitors for surveillance. The premises has multiple alarm systems in place with steel frames on all windows and doors. Access to the backyard via the driveway will have a security gate which will only be opened for loading from the backyard, guest home, storage room, and greenhouses.

We will have plenty of staff on the premises throughout the sale, but because of this event, we ask that everyone to please be patient with all processes and on-site decisions regarding smooth logistics of this grand estate sale.

We will have credit card services available for high-end jewelry purchases as well as the high-end items throughout the estate. Credit card purchases are primarily for the jewelry and high end items in the estate.  We will be assessing a 3% surcharge on credit card purchases. Please have patience with this process as well.   If you plan on paying for high-end items with a check, please be prepared to leave your jewelry with us until your check clears.
