This weekend is the time to see 3604 Richland, one of the original houses in the Richland-Central-Sylvan Park area, before it undergoes a complete renovation. Inside you will find:

  • Le Cornue 90 Albertine Stove, purchased for about $11,000 with mandatory delivery surcharge and sales tax, purchased in 2016  at Williams Sonoma, now selling at $7500
  • Book collection, including FIRST EDITION of several books, as well as a vast array of ART Books (the owner was a fine artist)
  • Coats, just in time for winter. (You are in luck if you are medium or large size.)
  • Several antique furniture
  • Oriental rugs, including a Persian Hand-woven Heriz
  • Usuall odds and ends, which makes estate sales enticing.

In pricing the unit, I reviewed the Williams Sonoma site: https://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/la-cornue-albertine-stove-pure-white/ to determine the cost. New the unit costs: $8100 plus a required delivery surcharge of $1100 plus taxes of $897, amounting to $10,097. The price on the unit is about 25% off the list price plus surcharge and taxes, which I thought was reasonable considering the minimal use and available remaining warranty of about two years. (I can provide the serial number if needed to confirm.) I would consider other offers in order to facilitate the transaction. What do you feel is fair, given these facts?
