Dr. Holloway’s Estate Sales is proud to present the Estate Sale of Jim and Roxie Gibson. 

Affectionately known to thousands as Miss Roxie, our client was a Grammy -nominated children’s author,  with her husband, Mr. Jim, as illustrator. Together the produced the ‘Hey God!’ Series of children’s books, along with other inspirational books for children of all ages. Miss Roxie was the receptionist at Oak Hill school for a span of nearly five decades where she positively impacted the lives of thousands of students through pulling teeth, prayers and hugs. The library carries her name.
 

This estate sale will present a one of a kind collection of Angels, numbering, probably over 1000 examples in every material imaginable. figurines, wall, art, Jewelry, and more.  Proceeds from the sale of the angel collection will benefit the Roxie Gibson scholarship fund at Oak Hill school.

 

In addition to the angel collection, there is a large library. Topics include angels, scripture, faith and inspiration, general interest, children’s books as well as copies of many of Miss Roxie’s own books, especially the Hey God! series. 
 

Oak Hill School related memorabilia will also be available. Oak Logs, oak leaf and acorn items; a table full of tooth pictures.

 

The sale will also offer a large costume jewelry collection including angels, crosses and acorns -over 100 pair of clip earrings; a large shoe collection, size 7;  wonderful clothing -vintage to modern; more than 100 scarves including Coach; household items, furniture, decorative items, plus 2 kitchens and the full range of  household goods. Dozens of pictures, original art, hero wall.  

 

Appliances: two microwaves, two fridges, stove, washer and dryer, dish washer.

 

There is a large shed for sale (only one) lawn and garden decor and perhaps some architectural elements from the Oak Valley Home including claw foot bath tub, drapes, some lights and outdoor window awnings.
