Nolensville Estate Sale

Take a short drive to lovely Nolensville, TN this week to explore "The Brittain House", a beautiful 19th century home filled with antiques, collectibles, and curiosities from multiple generations. As you ascend the front porch steps and enter through the old wooden doors, you will feel transported to a different time.

This week's sale, from life-long collectors, features a large collection of books, including many signed copies and first editions, vintage children's books, unusual biographies and autobiographies, pulp paperbacks, and much more. There is also a large vinyl record collection (33, 45, and 78's), with a variety of genres including classical, jazz, classic country, soundtracks, Christmas, etc., vintage magazines, including the iconic Rolling Stone issue with John Lennon and Yoko Ono on the cover, and a large collection of harder-to-find CDs, VHS and DVD singles and box sets.

The home has beautiful furniture including an antique dining table with multiple leaves and six Chinese Chippendale chairs, a Sheridan loveseat with elegant custom floral upholstery, two beautiful armoires, a large antique buffet with mirror, several antique dressers and tables, some with marble top, a dropleaf wooden table, and an Eastlake chair.

This collection also includes many beautiful antique rugs of different sizes including a very large area rug, runners, and several smaller ones,  several original oil paintings, and many other pieces of art, two wooden full-size beds, an authentic vintage Louis Vuitton suitcase, Tiffany sterling , two antique washstands, one with marble top, two leather club chairs with ottomans, several sofas, several unique and beautiful antique trunks, an antique crib and stroller, and a lovely collection of vintage dolls from around the world.

There is also china from Minton and Lenox, as well as several pieces of Flow Blue pottery, a large antique chinese bowl, some beautiful Christmas decorations. 

To keep things interesting, this sale also includes a large collection of Barbie dolls with clothing, Disney character dolls, a set of Spice Girls dolls with other Spice Girls memorabilia including an autographed poster, and other posters including a movie poster from Snakes on a Plane, and a poster signed by Cameron Crowe and Orlando Bloom from the movie Elizabethtown. There are also several Hatch Show Print posters, including one from The Strokes concert at the Ryman. There is a six-string DR bass guitar, a Hannah Montana guitar, a very cool KLH suitcase turntable, an antique New Home sewing machine, two vintage Wharfedale speakers, a Harman/Kardon receiver, several typewriters, and other electronics. There is also a vintage J.C. Higgins bicycle in very good condition.

As well, we have several old swords, a collection of machetes from the Philippines, and a very rare set of 1939 Elastolin German Nazi figures, including Hitler and podium.

There are two buildings for this sale. The majority of the contents are in the home, but the vinyl records and half of the books will be in an out building.
