October 21-23rd East Tennessee Estate Sales (ETES) will be hosting Part 1 of the liquidation sale of the massive toy collection owned by the late Dr. Rueff of Oak Ridge. Also known as the Tennessee Toy Man , Dr. Rueff collected a variety of toys for over 40 years.
(Part 2 of the sale will take place the first weekend in November)
Dr. Rueff's collections cover toys from all eras and genres. Each of the two sales will include a wide selection of toys in the following categories:
-Star Wars - items from the original 1977 line as well as the follow up movies (Return of the Jedi and Empire Strikes Back) and also from the 90's versions of the toy line. There are thousands of Star Wars related items : firgures, action sets, games, books, glassware- basically anything Star Wars related this gentleman collected it!
-Barbie- selection of vintage dolls from the 60's-90's , many new in box. Lots of Barbie outfits from the 60's & 70's. Barbie carrying cases and playsets. Barbie Glamour Girls and carrying case.
-Boxes and boxes of Tootsie Toys, Hot Wheels, Matchbox cars, Corgi, Dinky etc.
-Popeye Spinach Can Jack in the Box, Original Mattell Jack in the Box (believed to be the first Jack in the Box Mattell made)
-Over 50 vintage board games including the highly collectible Goonies board game.
-Tin lunch boxes, plastic lunchboxes, thermos
-Heartland Horses & Western Figures - approx. 20 that are like new with original accessories, plus 2 boxes full of loose riders, horses and accessories.
-Vintage GI Joe action figures and playsets from 60's-80's
-Vintage Planet of the Apes

-Don Post Creature of the Black Lagoon Halloween Mask
