ONLINE AUCTION LISTING (For the tag sale items, see below.  To bid, click the link above.)

  • Full-Size Bedframe with Mattress and Boxsprings.  The headboard is hardwood and has pretty turned spindles across the center.  The mattress set is older but appears to be in good clean condition.
  • One-Drawer Nightstand by American Drew, in Solid Cherry, #1.  Measures 24" wide, 16" deep, 26" tall.  It has pretty turned legs and a solid undershelf, with Chippendale batwing hardware on the drawer.  In very good condition with just light scuffs.
  • One-Drawer Nightstand by American Drew, in Solid Cherry, #2.  Measures 24" wide, 16" deep, 26" tall.  It has pretty turned legs and a solid undershelf, with Chippendale batwing hardware on the drawer.  In very good condition with just light scuffs.
  • Impressive Solid Cherry 8-Drawer Chest.  It appears to be handmade and has heavy plywood sides and bottoms on the drawers.  Curiously, there is no back.  Measures 6' wide, 22" deep, 35.5" tall.  It's super sturdy and in very good clean condition, however it has 2 slightly different styles of hardware mixed around on the drawers.  The finish is good other than the scratches shown but it needs a good oiling.
  • Antique Oval Accent Table with 1 drawer.  It has a very dark finish that has a few scratches, and it stands on pretty turned legs with a matching crossbrace.  30" wide, 20" deep, 27" tall.
  • Victorian Walnut 3-Drawer Chest with fruit carved handles and pretty carved escutcheons over the keyholes, as well.  Super sturdy with a nice clean finish.  Measures 40" wide, 18.5" deep, 34" tall.
  • Very Similar Victorian Walnut 4-Drawer Chest with fruit carved handles and round escutcheons over the keyholes.  40.5" wide, 19" deep, 39" tall.  In good clean condition with just light scratches.
  • Antique Maple Rocking Chair with a hand-done needlepoint seat.  Nice and sturdy with a good finish.  Measures 16" wide, 24" deep, 32" tall.
  • Pretty Accent Table with 2 tiers and a narrow space in between.  Made of solid Mahogany.  It sits on a pedestal base with 4 legs tipped with brass claw feet.  Measures 24" wide, 14" deep, 25" tall.  Sturdy and in good clean condition.
  • Handsome Pennsylvania House Solid Cherry 9-Drawer Chest with 3 drawers on the top and 2 sets of 3 drawers below that.  Measures 52" wide, 20" deep, 34" tall.  Very good and sturdy with a nice finish that has just a few bumps and scuffs.  It has all the Chippendale batwing hardware on the drawers.
  • Adorable Small Secretary Desk with a 3-drawer serpentine front on the base, and the drop-down front reveals 3 drawers and lots of slots, including the secret compartments.  The desk surface is nice and steady when it's down, but the hinge mechanism on the right side needs reattaching in one spot.  As expected, there is more wear on the inside than on the outside.  30" wide, 16" deep when closed, 28" deep when open, 41" tall.
  • Square Mahogany 1-Drawer Stand with a very light finish.  Measures 22" square, 29" tall.  Sits on turned, tapered legs and is in good sturdy condition with light wear to the finish.
  • Modern Computer Desk with a space-age look.  It has a 2-tier upper section and a pull-out tray with an attractive Mahogany laminate, and it's on fun curving metal legs.  48" wide, 24" deep, 36" tall.
  • Sweet Cherry 4-Drawer Chest.  24" wide, 14" deep, 24" tall.  It has all the original hardware, including handles on the sides.  In good sturdy condition with a bit of wear on the front edge, particularly.
  • Rare Complete Solid Mahogany Banquet Table consisting of a nice dropleaf table and 2 half-round "banquet ends".  Family reports they had it custom-made by a local craftsman, circa 1950.  The center of the table is a very handsome drop-leaf table with 2 leg supports for each leaf, giving a total of 8 legs; 48" wide, about 26" long with both leaves down, 69.5" long with both leaves up.  The "banquet ends" are 2 half-round pieces with 4 legs each and can be used as a single round table, or as console tables, or set on the ends of the center table for maximum length.  They are also 48" wide and 24.5" deep each, making the table approximately 9'10" long as shown in the first photo.  It has pads for the drop-leaf section and the table has been very well cared for and has just light scuffs on the finish.  Super Versatile.
  • Magnificent Antique Server in the Renaissance Revival style, believed to be originally from an earlier generation of the family in Mississippi.  It has a 5' wide base with a gorgeous green marble top and 2 drawers over 2 doors, all of which have locks.  There is a heavy shelf behind each of the doors, as well.  The upper section has a spectacular burl panel center, and a domed pediment, and large candle rests on either side.  The top section is about 53" wide, and the piece stands about 88" tall and 21" deep.  It's in remarkably good condition with a little wear showing where the doors rubbed the base molding, and there is one small chip off the center of the marble.  Impressive.
  • Fine Solid Mahogany Corner Cabinet with glazed doors on top, blind doors in the base, and 2 drawers in between.  Made locally by hand, originally to go with the banquet table.  Not signed, but the craftsmanship is excellent and everything is solid wood.  There is 1 shelf in the bottom and there are 2 shelves in the top.  The doors have good hinges and close with a magnet and it has a very nice finish.  Measures 43" across the front, comes out from the corner about 36" and it's just shy of 80" tall.
  • Another Handsome Mahogany Corner Cabinet.  This one has a single glazed door on the top, it has a lock and we have the key.  It has a single drawer over 2 doors in the base, and the same key operates the lock on the bottom door.  There is a single shelf in the bottom and 3 shelves in the upper section.  Measures 39" wide, comes out from the corner approximately 28", and is 84" tall.
  • Vintage Barrel-Back Chair with woven cane wrapped around the curving back and a pretty upholstery on the seat.  It has modified Queen Anne legs and is in good sturdy condition with just a little wear showing on the fronts of the arms and the tips of the feet.  27" wide, 24" deep, 29" tall.
  • Cute Round Tilt-Top Mahogany Accent Table with pedestal base and 3 legs with carved claw feet.  Top measures 16.5" diameter, but the legs stick out a little further, 19" tall.  It needs a little attention to tighten the legs, but it's generally in good condition.
  • Pretty Armchair with a Pecan finish to the solid hardwood.  It has an upholstered back and seat with wooden arms and legs.  The legs are modified Queen Anne, and the upholstery is a tapestry-style floral.  Measures 24" wide, 24" deep, 33" tall.  Includes accent pillows.
  • Mahogany Endtable #1, by Heritage Henredon.  This piece has square fluted legs with an undershelf and a stenciled leather top.  It's in good sturdy condition with light wear to the finish.  Measures 22" wide, 26" deep, 22" tall.
  • Mahogany Endtable #2, by Heritage Henredon.  This piece has square fluted legs with an undershelf and a stenciled leather top.  It's in good sturdy condition with light wear to the finish and a little more wear to the undershelf.  Measures 22" wide, 26" deep, 22" tall.
  • Elegant Glass-Top Coffee Table with tapered fluted legs, curved crossbrace, and a serpentine edge to the molding around the glass top.  It has pretty veneer on that edging, as well.  43" wide, 28" deep, 16" tall.
  • Unusual Antique TV Cabinet with a single door on front that swings out and recesses into the top.  We think it's a TV cabinet because it has no back.  We believe the wood is Walnut and it's in very solid condition with a good finish.  30" wide, 20" deep, 29" tall.
  • Nice Cherry Pedestal Table with 3 legs and an 8-sided top that's rectangular with recessed corners.  18" wide, 24" deep, 22" tall.  In very good clean condition.
  • Sweet 2-Cushion Blue Loveseat with swirly patterns to the upholstery.  57" wide, 31" deep, 30" tall.  It's in very good clean condition with a cozy seat, but has 1 armcover that needs washed.
  • Pretty Set of 3 Solid Cherry Nesting Tables, in very good clean condition.  They have round tapered legs with modified Queen Anne feet, and the finish on them appears to be good with just minor scuffs, particularly where they rub each other when sliding together.  The largest is 24" x 16" x 21" tall; the smallest is 11.5" x 15" x 19" tall.
  • Pink Wingback Chair with a silk upholstery that has modest wear, especially to the arm fronts.  It's by Park Place Furniture.  31" wide, 32" deep, 42" tall.
  • Very Handsome Wooden Sea Chest by Romadka, dated 1904.  The wood is painted black and brown, it has lots of metal corner braces, and good hinges, clasps, and leather handles on the ends.  It also has an image of wild duck shooting on the inside and a duck-themed lining, which may have been added later.  It's in good solid condition, although there are 2 cracks in the lid, but not breaks.  Measures 34" wide, 20" deep, 24" tall.
  • 5-Drawer Mahogany Chest from one of the original Oak Ridge dormitories.  It has not been painted or refinished, it has all the handles, and the drawers are in good working condition.  27.5" wide, 19" deep, 48" tall.  A special Oak Ridge find--this exact chest can be seen in the re-created Oak Ridge dormitory room at the Oak Ridge Museum!
  • Painted 4-Drawer Chest from one of the original Oak Ridge Cemestos.  It has 2-over-2 drawers, has the original pulls, and we think it's also the original paint job, which is definitely worn.  31" wide, 21" deep, 24" tall.
  • Fabulous 60s Era Steel Desk by the All Steel Equipment Company of Aurora Illinois.  With a spotless laminate top with rubber and chrome edge.  It has a brown body with gold handles and the center drawer has a lock, and we do have the keys.  It's in very good overall condition, other than one drawer pull that needs one screw.  76" wide, 36" deep, 29" tall.
  • Matching Retro Office Chair by All Steel Equipment Company of Aurora, Illinois; with shiny yellow vinyl upholstery on the seat, back, and arms.  The base is a glossy brown metal with gold-tone casters.  The back tips back independent from the seat, which we think has adjustable height.  Great 60s look!
  • Original Army Issue Trash Can from Oak Ridge Dormitory or Cemesto.  The foot pedal works, and it has the original handle and a good hinge.  The paint is a bit dingy with age, and there is some rust around the bottom, but otherwise it's in good condition.  13" diameter, 15" tall.
  • Small 1-Drawer Cabinet from an original Oak Ridge Cemesto, with the original paint.  It has slots inside for an adjustable shelf, but the shelf has gotten separated.  The cabinet is generally good and sturdy, but it has had some moisture get to the bottom, and the trim is flaking off.  We've kept the spare pieces that we found with it inside.  Measures 14" wide, 21" deep, 29" tall.
  • Gorgeous 2-Sided, 4-Panel Screen with Oriental styling.  The side we have facing has a glossy gold background with bright colored birds and flowers.  The reverse has a black background with orange, brown, and green scene.  As shown, it stands about 46" wide, and it is 36" tall.  It has some scratches but is generally in very good shape.
  • Antique Curved Back Armchair with pink velvet upholstery and ornate carving on the arm fronts and legs.  In good sturdy condition.  With light wear to the upholstery.  Measures 28" wide, 29" deep, 37" tall.  Includes a matching ottoman (not pictured), with carved legs.  Also in good sturdy condition, but not pictured.
  • Philharmonic Console Stereo by The Fisher.  It's in the "Italian Provincial case in distressed Cherry" that's also in good condition, other than a couple of water rings on the top of the lift-up section.  Powers on, lights up, and the radio plays.  The turntable seems to operate properly, as well, and it does have a needle cartridge.  The original instructions are with it, too, and it is 46" wide, 16.5" deep, 29" tall.
  • Adorable Very Narrow Drop-Leaf Table with pretty cross-braces that have cut-outs.  Measures 9.5" wide with the leaves down, 32" wide with the leaves up, 24" deep, 25" tall.  It's in very good condition, with a nice finish other than a visible water ring, but it's a touch wobbly because it is so small and may need some joints tightened up.
  • Lot of 4 Antique Mahogany Chairs, each with a different, hand-done, needlepoint seat.  The chairs have saber legs and pretty backsplats, and they're all in good condition although we do see a couple of repairs.  Each measures about 19" wide, 18" deep, 34" tall.
  • Signed and Numbered Framed Print by Oak Ridge Artist Helen Guymon, signed bottom right, double matted in a nice frame, 25" x 31".  The print shows a beautiful view of a local river through spring foliage.
  • Signed, Numbered, Framed Print of a Crock Full of Daisies, by Pauline Wallen.  Signed bottom right, #71 of 500, single matted in a pretty frame 30" x 38".
  • Adorable Handmade Holly Hobby Quilt with 5 rows of 5 figures.  It's definitely hand-quilted, but we're not positive whether the figures were hand or machine stitched.  About 73" x 85" and in good clean condition with no holes or tears.
  • Full Size Platform Bed that has a large black platform as a base, with a solid Oak platform on top of that, and a 52" wide full size mattress that's in good clean condition.
  • Intriguing Original Watercolor featuring bare trees and painted on a fibrous rice paper that has interesting grain itself; the heavy fibers give an interesting effect.  Double matted in a pretty frame; signed bottom right--artist's name appears to be M. Beverly Bunn.
  • Pretty Rectangular Mirror in a very old and ornate antique frame that has been stripped down to the natural wood finish in the center and has a turquoise color over the very textured border.  26" x 30" and in very good condition.
  • 2 Hand-Done Cross Stitches of Knoxville Historical Landmarks, including Market House, from 1897; and Knoxville High School, 1910.  They're both double matted, in slightly different frames, approx. 14" x 18".
  • Retro Electronics Lot, including a Dejur 8mm Film Projector, with a carry case, and a fold away projection screen.  The projector is immaculate, and the case is in very good condition, as well; the screen is operational.  Power cord and return reel are in the compartment under the projector.
  • Sherwood Model S7910 Solid State Receiver in good condition, with the original manual, power cord, and antenna.  It does power on and light up, but we didn't have speakers to fully test it.
  • Lovely Original Painting of a Tree Flower by A. Hahn.  Signed bottom right, housed in a pretty gilt frame, 17" x 19".
  • Signed Original Painting of Oak Ridge Landmark Chapel on the Hill, by Helen Guymon.  Signed bottom right, housed in a carved wooden frame, 8" x 10".
  • Elegant European-Style Framed Mirror with an ornate gilt frame that has carved garland and a circular opening at the top where an angel ornament has been added for effect.  30" x 50", in very good condition.
  • Signed Numbered Framed Print of Purple Iris, by Barbara Doughty, #37 of 500.  Signed bottom right, double matted in a simple wooden frame, 21" x 27".
  • Vintage Japanese Satsuma Vase with ornately painted and figures in high relief on both sides and pretty mountain scenes painted in between.  It is marked Made in Japan on the bottom in gold letters.  In very good condition overall with no chips or cracks.  12" tall.
  • Lot of 6 Victorian Parlor Chairs, with hardwood (Walnut, Mahogany?) balloon-back frames, and with hip rests, and each with a different needlepoint seat showing different kinds of flowers and fruit.  They each measure about 19" wide, 21" deep, 34" tall, and the carving is unusually well-matched across the whole group.  The needlepoint is in good condition, though there is some fading from sun on a couple of them.  Nice group.
  • Jim Gray Signed and Numbered Framed Print of an overlook view in the Smokies at dawn.  Signed bottom left, #134 of 1560.  Triple matted in a simple wooden frame, 26" x 32".
  • Fine Waterford Crystal Table Lamp with the original tag.  It has a metal base and beautiful crystal vase-shaped center body, topped with a paneled shade.  In good working condition.  Stands 33" tall.
  • Signed Original Watercolor of a view of the Smokies near Gatlinburg, by Mary C. Burnett.  Signed bottom left, double matted in a very ornate gold frame, 37" x 30".
  • Magnificent Quadruple Plate Silver Tea Set with Teapot, Creamer, Sugar, and Waste Pot, on a gorgeous tray.  From the Meriden Silver Company.  The teapot and sugar have especially pretty handles, and they all have a beautiful hand-chased medallion with flowers and an open field for an engraving on the side.  We're not sure the tray is original to this set, but it is stunning and measures 28" wide handle to handle.
  • Antique Pair of Urns handpainted with a European Castle Scene.  Made of gilt porcelain, with long arching handles and a pleasing shape.  There is some wear to the gold finish and there is a repair on one, but it's so well-done that you have to look for it.  9.25" tall.
  • Large and Beautiful Set of Johnson Brothers China, with colorful flowers.  Service for many.  Includes:  16 dinner plates; 12 salad plates; 12 bread plates; 12 cups and saucers; plus large and small oval platters; creamer; sugar; butter; and others.  All appears to be in great condition with little sign of use.
  • Set of Lenox "Windsor" China, which has a classic Lenox cream colored porcelain with a dainty gold-decorated rim.  Service for 12 with dinner plate, salad plate, bread plate, cups and saucers.
  • Set of Lenox "Brookdale" China.  Service for 12 with dinner plate, salad plate, bread plate, cups and saucers.  This one has a cream colored base with silver rim and painted flowers around the edges.  It all appears to be in very good condition with little sign of use.
  • Set of Handpainted Limoges Dishes by M. Redon of France.  It has eleven 8.5" plates, twelve 7" bowls, and a covered server.  It's all an almost white porcelain with gold rim and gold leaves stencilled around the outer edge.  All appears to be in excellent condition with little sign of use.
  • Vintage Powder Blue Biscuit Jar with Lid and Handle.  The jar itself has a swirling design in the glass, and the lid and handle are chromed and in very good condition.  7" tall.
  • Vintage to Antique Copper Luster Creamer or Small Pitcher, with leaf decorations by Lancasters Limited of Hanley, England.  In very good condition with just a few light scuffs to the copper areas.
  • Early Oak Ridge Office Desk with a Maple Chair.  The desk surface is a little bit rough, it's been used by a workbench, and it is missing a drawer, but it is, as it has been and always will be, a super sturdy piece of furniture.  Measures 60" wide, 34" deep, 61" tall.  The chair is Maple and has red vinyl upholstery.
  • Set of 4 heavy solid glass Roof Tiles with a light purple color, made to blend into an otherwise tiled roof and create an instant skylight.  Family reports that they brought them this way from Colorado years ago.  They each measure about 9" x 16" and they have edges that overlap for sealing.
  • Original Oak Ridge U.S. Army Issued Cabinet from a Cemesto.  It has 2 doors on the top with an adjustable shelf inside, and 2 smaller drawers over 2 larger drawers in the base that all slide in and out pretty well.  It might have 1 new layer of paint over the original, but it has all the original knobs.  The panel on the back has come loose but we still have it.  31" wide, 21" deep, 43.5" tall.
  • Large and Early Piece of Oak Ridge Art from someone dreaming too deeply about the radiation symbol.  It's an impressive 49" x 51" and we think it's also by Crews, as it's signed on the back.  It's sturdy but needs some effort.  It should clean up well and it's definitely an interesting piece of Cold War Art.
  • Sears Coldspot 22 Chest Freezer.  Running cold and in very good condition, without dents or rust.  Note that it is downstairs, so bring help to move it, .
  • 2 Door Curio Cabinet with a single locking drawer in the base; the upper doors also lock.  It has 3 fixed shelves inside and is a painted solid Mahogany.  Measures 36" wide, 12" deep, 61" tall.
  • Complete Works of Charles Dickens,15-Volume Set, from the Kelmscott Society.  The binding is all in good condition but the covers are damaged on several at the top where you grab them to pull them off the shelf, and volume 15 in particular has the face torn completely off.

  • Antique G-Man Toy Car with a wired controller.  The car has machine guns sticking out the window and says G-Man on both sides.  Appears to be complete and has little rust on the white roof and on the bottom.  The wire also appears to be in good shape, and there is no corrosion in the battery box.  It's by Linmar Toys of Japan.
  • Garmin Model 145-01615-10, with a car charger and a weighted stand for dash or console.  It has a cigarette lighter power cord.
