Here you can not only own a significant part of Tennessee History you may even be fortunate enough to live in it!
"Mr. Wade had summoned me to his home upon referral from 2 Tennessee Historians and Others. We hit it off right away. What should have been a 40 minute talk turned into 2 1/2 hrs. I ask the Historians about the hitching post and dismounting stone out front with Andrew Jacksons birth and death dates on the stone. they said, stories have it that when He was President from 1833-1837 Pres. Jackson owned all of the land surrounding the Hermitage including what is now called Brandywine. He built a large one room cabin there, so that when he an Rachel would have a spat, He would ride over there and stay until they made up. When he died, in 1837 the Brandywines bought the cabin and the land and from there came the Brandywine Mansion which is now for sale and has as it built date 1899 with many of the Antiques coming from the original Cabin.."
