Both Bill and Jean were born in Tennessee where they met and married.  Bill served in the US Air Force which allowed him to travel around the world.  After leaving the service, he worked for the federal government installing communication lines around the world for the NASA space program.  They retired to RutledgeTennessee in 1978 where they lived until both passed away last year within months of each other.  The contents of their 3 story cozy cabin contained  a beautiful scenery of decor, collection of antique tiger oak furniture fills the entire 3 stories; bookcases, dressers entry way tables, record player along with A HUGE collection of good ole heart soothing records, dining table set, various figurines, teapots, dolls, a super fun john boat, and lots of amazing books. the cabin has a large garage and two sheds full of convenient and exiting items, lots of tools and basic garage items! In the estate very interesting pieces of history can be found. Beautiful heart warming historic sketches of grainger county,  metal detector, antique beds, front porch furniture and many more fun and exiting items collected during their 64 years of marriage will be found in the home. These items are now being sold and we hope they bring you as much warmth and joy as they brought to them in their beautiful country home.
