Description & Details
Please wear a mask as Rutherford County is under mask mandate. Thank you!
We have marked SOME of the items sold that were purchased on Thursday. Please note, other items pictured here may have been sold.
Over the course of the last three decades, Mr. Jimmy Neely built a significant collection of 19th century and antebellum furniture, utilitarian objects, carved wood and decorative items. He had a discerning eye and particularly liked tiger maple, treen and miniature examples. During that time he also was active in the Rutherford County Historical Society and they benefited from his expertise and collection. This will be a rare opportunity to acquire, at one time, many true 19th century objects, many from Tennessee and the mid South. Condition is excellent in most cases. Rarely does one find so interesting a collection and so diverse.
Due to limited space in the home and for Covid-related reasons Appointments are needed before 12 on Thursday. From 12-3 we will proceed with caution, in terms of numbers allowed in the house. There will be no number limits on Friday and Saturday unless the numbers overwhelm the Covid-related restrictions. As of Wednesday July 22 Rutherford County is requiring masks for public events. Please wear a mask. We will have paper masks if you have forgotten.
