Description & Details
Welcome to a beautiful home I could move in here and keep everything in it! The Kline family lost their Dad last December and the Mrs. moved in with one of her sons. Space was limited so lots was left behind. The family moved to Tennessee from Olde Virginia Chatham and Winchester areas and are an old family. A few of the pieces were made by the Great Great X? Grandfather in the Antebellum period. The markings show some hand hewn pieces as well as the stains that have soaked into the wood from years of use. The conditions are not perfect but are PERFECT for their age. Minor repairs (such as a loose leg or veneer work, or one side of the drop leaf table needing remounting) will keep these items in historic condition for ages. They are priced to sell as well as to reflect their worth.
There is a beautiful Eastlake dresser as well as a curved glass cabinet with all shelves intact (I moved the piece and only put one shelf back in as they are so hard to remove, the other 2 are ready for your inspection as well). We have 2 nice children's rockers, a dresser from the 40's, two wheeled sitting chairs and many more older items. We also have a nice selection of modern pieces.
We have some well framed and numbered P. Buckley Moss prints as you will see in the photos as well as a superb selection of other framed items. We have many Montana based items as one son is a Ranger out of Butte these posters and items are cabin ready!.
There is a big selection of silver-plate items, vases and small crocks, new classy vases and glass and much more.
There will be some costume jewelry, White House ornaments, very nice Christmas wreaths and trees and all sorts of things. We have women's clothes ranging between 2X-3X many with tags still on them as well as some men's clothes in XL. The kitchen is chock full of cooking and baking implements. We have everything you would find in a good home in very good condition!
The garage and back patio will have a large selection of tools, the Dad did stain glass work and some of his works are also for sale. As I traditionally do I will open the garage at 7:30 and the home at 8AM.
Please respect that no large bags are allowed in this home and many items must to be left with the cashier/security after they have been selected for purchase. These are not my items and I hold my responsibility to the owners in very high regard. Thanks as always! Bob
