Our Estate Sale this week is the estate of the late Jack Harlan McCarty, his wife Edith Maria better known by her family & friends as Maria. In addition, Laverne Carter (Maria’s Sister’s) living estate sale.  Jack proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for 20 years as an Executive for General Motors, purchased a dealership in Aransas Pass & renamed it Bay Chevrolet. Jack also owned & operated Aransas Autoplex.  Maria & Laverne are both excellent seamstresses & made beautiful quilts. Being long-time residents of Aransas Pass have both relocated to Portland. They are members of Faith Lutheran Church of Aransas Pass. Working in Maria’s home has been amazing.  Appreciating both Maria’s & Laverne’s beautiful work & great talents in Quilt Making. Graciously, having the opportunity to purchase one of their great quilts.

 NOTE:  This home is in the country that having been said please be aware of your surroundings.  The home is set back from the road and entrance onto the property would be through a gate with a curve road leading up to the home.  The best directions are as you go towards Aransas Pass exit the Aransas Pass exit stay in left lane it will be your first left turn at light. Left turn down about two miles right turn on Bentwood/FM 1794, all th way to the end of that street right turn onto the property.  You can park on the grass. travel approximately 30 miles from Corpus Christi.
