Winning bidders will be contacted by email with their invoice and pick-up instructions following the completion of this auction. Please look for an email at the completion of the auction. All instructions will be in the invoiced email sent out to winning bidders. The email will come from Live Oak Auctions. We usually have invoices sent out thirty minutes after the closing of the entire auction.

The World Savvy North Arlington Estate is full of family heirlooms and treasures from Italy, Greece, Iran, Germany, and Japan that were acquired while living abroad in the Mid 20th Century.   Ever wonder what Mid Century Decor looked like in Greece or Iran?  Take a look in this auction to find out.  Many, many steps above souvenir, the decorative accents and useful items from abroad in this auction will last for generations to come, and are indicative of collections acquired by those living abroad.  

In addition to the World Savvy International Decor, you will find antique American Heirlooms that have been well-kept and passed down through the generations.  From the 1890’s-1900’s you will find two quilts that were hand stitched in Georgia, from the 1920’s & 30’s there are pressed steel toy trucks, an antique etagere and tea cart, an outstanding set of Noritake China, and 3 elegant mirrors (in 2 lots) that were a wedding gift generations ago in the 1920’s.  American Pop Culture from the 1950’s - 70’s lives on in this Estate.  A Jackie O’ Barbie, an Elvis LP, and The Hardy Boys Book Collection are all here, as well as some Mid Century Modern Decor.

Don’t end your visit without taking a look at the Mid Century Italian Wrought Iron & Marble w/ Pink Chenille Dining Set in Lots 24, 34, & 44.   The Dining Set from Haverty’s in Lots 104, 323, & 335 is every bit as sharp, in its American Mid Century Design with a Stained Glass China Cabinet, a Thick & Heavy Wood Octagonal Table w/ Carved Detail, and Barrel Back, Caned Armchairs on Casters.  What a comparison to the Chic & Elegant Italian Mid Century Design.   There are also a few collections of Art Work from Madrid (works in the Prado), Iran, and Japan that are well worth a mention.  All collections in their own matching custom frames that set off the artwork in culture and style.
