We just met a wonderful lady. When we sat down she explained that this sale was for someone special. Not only is the entire family special, but the Grandfather's name blew me out of the water.
We have the honor of hosting Bill Thorpe's Estate Sale. He is the son of the 'World's Greatest Athlete', Jim Thorpe. As we started looking around the house we were in awe at the memorabilia that was there, the history that was there.
We are certain that there will be Sports Memorabilia, much of it signed, in the sale. It is not determined yet if any will be Jim Thorpe's. We will work with the family and get back to you with more information. Added 7-12-15 *Most of the signed memorabilia has been kept by the family.* Some treasure's remain.
On top of that!!!!!, this is a great sale. We have great everyday items, a full home of furniture ( Drexel ) , knick-knacks, appliances, tools, and much more. Check out pictures when we get them posted.
Lots to do between then and now. We will keep you posted.
