Please note: It is ACL time again in Austin. Barton Springs Rd. will be closed from Mopac to Azie Morton, starting on September 21. You will have to make plans to find a different route, primarily using South Lamar Blvd. It will be a small challenge to get to this sale, fortunately this sale is certainly worth it.
Furniture includes a mid century Danish teak dining table with six chairs (SOLD), Lazy-boy recliner, unusual antique cabinet, antique barley twist buffet, glass and metal tables, small antique stand, vintage patio tile table, antique English two door what not cabinet (SOLD), unusual wood corner cabinet (SOLD), large vintage oak desk, American of Martinsville bedside cabinet, breakfast table (metal and glass top with rattan chairs), antique French buffet with top storage and much more.
Some featured items include an incredible four inch thick Redwood burn table (measuring 3 ft x 4 ft), two Jim Franklin posters for Inner Sanctum record shop (1970's), LG washer and gas dryer and more.
Collectibles include some very nice glass pieces, carved wooden pieces, a HUGE collection of blue glass pieces, cut to clear glass, several pieces of coral, beautiful baskets, lots of original art (including Isabel Rath pastels) and prints, large assortment of vintage games, an impressive amount of women's clothes - lots of vintage pieces, mostly small and medium - including two mink coats (1 SOLD), some men's clothes as well, bookcase filled with cook books, pots and pans, good amount of kitchen items, pottery pieces, antique and vintage stemware, a large wooden bird cage, some nice baskets, an impressive quality collection of sterling jewelry including Navajo pieces, ACM time window speakers, Aerial B7 tower speakers and Aerial cc3 center speaker and much more.
