Description & Details
This sale contains the estate of the late James "Prince" Hughes. A long time Austin resident, Prince became the buyer for Oat Willie's head shop in the 1970's and then became the owner of Atomic City in the early 1980's. He transformed the business into a funky, ahead of its time store, with toys, gadgets and all kinds of eclectic merchandise. Atomic City became a place to hang out and have fun. When the store closed in 2010, we lost another home town business, that long time Austinites cherish.
The sale will be conducted on consecutive weekends in January. LOTS of new items will be available on the second weekend. There is not enough room to display all of the items, that are part of this wonderful sale.
