On July 13-15, 10am-4pm each day, we will conduct a downsizing estate sale for Susan Crofts of Austin, daughter of the late Dr. Alfred "Pat" Crofts and Anne (Dillen) Crofts of Edinburg. TX.

We are proud to present this fantastically eclectic sale of all things beautiful and old, handed down to Susan from her great-grandmother, her grandparents and her parents. Many items being offered range from the mid 1800s-1900s in Victorian English style. Yet some select items come from the mid-1500s-1700s. Her relatives were well-known in New Braunfels and operated an antique shop and rare book store there for many years. We have numerous pieces to offer, including rare books, from their worldly acquisitions. Another relative was born in England where he became a traveling magician / ventriloquist and immigrated to the US, becoming a resident of Dallas and continued his profession. We are offering some of his professional equipage including his dummies in their original travel trunks. We also have numerous Pre-Columbian artifacts which are documented to have been purchased in TX in the early 1970s by Susan's mother, Anne Dillen Crofts. She was also involved in Mayan lectures and exhibits at UT. We will have more detail about the family background to come. (UPDATE 7/6/18: We just posted 40+ final pictures of the artifacts, including a ruler with each for scale.)

Below are categories, descriptions and over 400 photos. We continue to add to these as the rooms are staged for the sale, so please check back often. We may choose to put some rare & unusual items on online auctions; this may happen after the sale to have the proper time it will require. If so we will have a category list of those items & an email signup sheet alongside it if you wish to participate in that. Our Staff can point you to the location of that list.

Thank you for looking and we hope to see you at this fantastic sale!

.....

Special Thanks:

To Julie Kreager, Owner of Designs By Jujubz Home Professional Services of Austin, with whom we collaborated on this estate sale project. Our client needed to move to her new location before estate sale preparations could begin. Julie and her professional team assisted our client with decision-making on what to keep, sell or give-away. Her team packed the unsellables, hired/ supervised the movers to empty a storage unit of sellables and move them to the sale location. Julie's simplified process and action-step time lines are brilliant. Should you require such professional assistance prior to scheduling an estate sale in situ, I highly recommend that you review her website for more detail, www.jujubz.com, and/or contact her directly at 512-983-9930.
