Estate Sale- Audubon Place Beaumont

It’s finally here….

The estate sale we’ve been telling you about is ready to open, and as a thank you for being members of our email group, we are inviting you to a special preview day, TOMORROW!!! 

This unique home in Audubon Place is chock full of goodies. The family’s interests were diverse, as you will see from their collections, and the quality of every item is top notch. This family invested in their home, their decor, and their hobbies.

This four bedroom home features a dedicated media room, sewing room, art studio, tool room, pool house with outdoor kitchen, butler’s pantry, top shelf kitchen, and a prep kitchen/bar.

They were dedicated chefs with every cookbook, appliance, tool, or specialty knife you can imagine. We have dozens of high quality knives, crawfish pots & platters, Magnalite cookware, ice cream makers, digital meat thermometers, paella pans, and even a juice fountain, (still in the box). 

And of course they had dishes for serving this bounty, several sets of china, Waterford crystal bowls, silver trays, crystal glasses, including some from the acclaimed maker Steuben. There are sushi plates, Carnival glass, and table linens galore!

From the sewing room, you will find a professional grade iron and ironing board, yards and yards of French lace, handmade quilts, hand embroidered guest towels, and an antique sewing machine.

If you are building your library, you will find several sets of matching leather bound books. Children’s books, Bibles and Christian guides, travel books, natural studies, and coffee table books, including a rare book, still in the plastic, titled Dr Suess’s Secrets of the Deep, which retails for over $1700!

They were also into photography, music and computers with several cameras, lenses and tripods available, books on photography, and several MUSICAL instruments, sheet music, and records. Also Apple products and accessories new in box!

 Now let me tell you about their art collection. So much ORIGINAL ART! We have originals from Jerry Newman, Calvin Carter,  Mary Jo Broussard, and Jo Geisendorff. A large outdoor Bronze Pelican statue or fountain signed S. David, (which sold at auction for over $12,000), acrylic statues from Frederick Hart, a collection of whimsical bronze frogs from British designer, Tim Cotterill.  Crystal designs from Lalique, Steuben, Murano, & Bacarrat. We also have a very special sculpture titled, “the Patriot” which resembles a life sized taxidermied American Bald Eagle, by artist Jim Day. (Not to worry, it is NOT a real Bald Eagle, it just looks like one!)

You truly have to see it to believe it! We have been working on this estate for several weeks, and we are still discovering treasures. Please join us and search out treasures of your own!
