Description & Details
We are excited to host an extraordinary estate sale in Pattison, Texas, a beautiful country town just west of Katy.
The moment you enter this estate, you truly feel as though you have stepped into a rustic country farmhouse décor and antique boutique, filled with charm, history, character, and class. Situated on multiple acres, this estate is overflowing with treasures dating from the late 1800s through the mid-century era and beyond.
What makes this estate especially unique is the story behind the collection.
For more than 55 years, this family carefully collected antiques and collectibles. One of the children remembers her mother sharing the story of the very first antique she purchased as a young bride in 1953. She discovered an oak Sea Captain’s Desk in a small antique shop on Long Point in Houston, fell in love with it, and purchased it for $79 on layaway.
That purchase helped begin a lifelong passion.
Over the decades, this wonderful couple furnished their home with antiques discovered at auctions, antique shops, and through countless collecting adventures. Later, they made regular trips to Canton, Texas, always enjoying the hunt for that next special piece.
The lady of the home had a particular love for Texas primitive pieces, graniteware, quilts, handmade items, and beautifully crafted décor. She was also the owner of Quilts n Such in Katy, Texas, a successful shop that offered quilting, painting, and other classes. An accomplished seamstress herself, she had a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and handmade pieces of every kind.
The gentleman was equally talented. He was a skilled furniture builder who even constructed grandfather clocks. His passion for collecting eventually expanded into an incredible assortment of antique clocks and early electric desk fans.
🌀 AN INCREDIBLE COLLECTION OF 50+ ANTIQUE DESK FANS
Most of the desk fan collection dates to before 1930, and with more than 50 fans available, nearly all are running unless otherwise noted.
Several of the rare and collectible fans include:
• 1902 16” GE 266596
• 1906 12” Westinghouse 60677
• 1906 16” Westinghouse 60679
• 1906–1909 12” Emerson Trojan
• 1910s 12” Robbins & Myers 1404
• 1912 12” Emerson Type 16646
• 1915 12” Century Frame 53
• 1920 10” Peerless
• 1920 9” Emerson Model 29645
Many feature the beautiful brass blades and brass cages that collectors search for today. This is an impressive collection assembled over many years and one that serious antique fan collectors will not want to miss.
🕰️ OVER 100 ANTIQUE & COLLECTIBLE CLOCKS
The gentleman initially focused primarily on American clocks before expanding his collection to include exceptional European examples.
With more than 100 clocks available, highlights include:
• Three Crystal Regulators — two Seth Thomas and one Ansonia
• Five Gustav Becker Vienna clocks
• Three 3-weight Vienna Grand Sonnerie clocks
• Two free-swinger/open-well clocks
• Several figure-eight clocks
• Numerous Seth Thomas, Ansonia, E.N. Welch, and other collectible models
And the collections do not stop there.
Throughout the estate you will also discover:
• Uranium glassware
• Salt & pepper shaker collections
• Aladdin lamps
• Butter churns
• Lady-face vases
• Texas primitive pieces
• Graniteware
• Quilts and handmade textiles
• Antique and vintage furniture
• Farmhouse and country décor
• Unique collectibles gathered over generations
• And many more treasures still being uncovered
These are not pieces that were purchased simply to fill a house. They were collected by two people who genuinely loved antiques, craftsmanship, history, and the thrill of finding something special.
Their home reflects decades of careful collecting and a remarkable eye for those hard-to-find pieces.
The treasures and collectibles throughout this estate are timeless, and many remain in impeccable condition for their age. We hope everyone who visits enjoys experiencing this remarkable collection and finds that one perfect piece to carry into their own home.
