Privately Listed Sale
Good morning! Please read entire post and it will answer a lot of your questions.
Added 4 or 5 pictures at the bottom of the posting. Mainly Barbie items and general kitchen.
Sale morning we will let the first 30 people in the gate. No list, no numbers, just the first 30. Of those, we will let 15 in the house. As one comes out of the house, another can go in. When one leaves the gate, another in. So depending on the number of people, be prepared to wait a while. We want to get everyone in and if we see we can increase the number in, we will!
We will have a “holding area” that you can make piles of the stuff you want. That way, you can continue to shop without holding a bunch of stuff.
No vehicles through the gate unless you have a paid receipt.
CAR - car has about 134,000 miles and is currently registered. Drove it yesterday. AC needs some work as it is not blowing cold air. Check coolant light has been on for years, but no issue with the coolant. Other than that, it needs a good cleaning as it has not been garaged.
TRUCK - truck has, I believe, a 460 engine with about 164,000 miles. The truck was last registered in 2015. Gentleman had an accident and hadn’t driven it since. We pulled it out of the driveway to where it is currently parked. It has been setting in the same place for 4 1/2 years. Battery is about 7 years old but held a charge. However it would not turn over. I HAVE NOT HEARD THE TRUCK RUN! It will not start in the current condition. You would be buying as is. It to is in need of a good cleaning.
TRAILERS - trailers do not have titles or any paperwork
APPLIANCES - appliances are are working. W/D, 2 refrigerators, Freezer.
JEWELRY - there are about 3 tables full of jewelry (won’t be in the house until Saturday morning). When you buy jewelry, the young lady will put it in a baggie and give you a receipt. When you pay out, bring the receipt back and get your jewelry.
I will do my best to answer any questions today, but we are still trying to get things set up. We will not be able to respond Saturday or Sunday. I apologize in advance if I miss your question.
Just a quick update! Family picked outa few items, but nothing of consequence. A glass, some Christmas decorations, etc. but I don’t think it was anything that was even pictured. There was a checker table that was posted that went with the Mrs to assisted living and I didn’t realize that. That was the one big item that was removed.
We will post some final picture tonight and tomorrow and will also Post info on car and truck.
We will hopefully be posting a 100 or so new photos Monday night. We have just about finished going through the house. What have we found? In addition was the initial list, we have found Western hats (including a Lucchese hat in fantastic shape!), boots, spurs, western clothing from the 70’s and a few other pieces of vintage clothing, competition belt buckles, vintage San Antonio Savings bank, Coca Cola collectibles, old Fischer Price toys, old post war Lionel train set, church pew, vintage Christmas tree with color wheel - unused it appears!, old annuals, Howdy Doody boxing glove, old Mickey Mouse stuff and much, much, much more!
