Our estate sale this week is for the Estate of Dr. Charles & Mrs. Maxine Emery.  Long-time Residents of Corpus Christi. Dr. Emery, Dentist & avid Golfer enjoyed life to its fullest, sadly he preceded Mrs. Emery in death.  Mrs. Emery or as her friends called her Maxine worked for the Texas Education Agency, as an Educational Specialist and later for the Central Agency in Austin as the Chief Consultant for both Secondary and Postsecondary Business & Vocational Education throughout Texas.  She was instrumental in the implementation of a bilingual business education program in Brownsville, Texas.  She was recognized and awarded “Yellow Rose of Texas” by Governor Mark White.  She later started her own consulting business still working in the educational field.  Maxine was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and DAR.
