Hoover~Estate Sales a Statement of Life Past & Present

The majority of our Estate Sale this week will be a “Living Estate” in Flour Bluff. This estate belongs to a second local artist who is Jeanette Hoover who happens to be the cousin of Lynn Dickey.  Jeanette (Jen), is local to the Flour Bluff area and has been painting for about 40 years. Her style of art is that of landscape, seascape, as well as still life.  Oil Paint is her primary medium and she has dabbled in Water Color and Acrylics occasionally.  Jen is an award winning artist.  Jen is an active member of the Art Center of Corpus Christi, Art Association of Corpus Christi, and the Bay Area Art League.  Her work can be seen at the Art Center for the Islands in Port Aransas, and the Art Center of Corpus Christi.  Jen’s hubby recently passed and Jen will be liquidating some of her estate to include many items which include medical equipment in particular as a noteworthy item that will be an excellent purchase is a Jazzy Select 6 Ultra Power Chair.  Jen’s husband unfortunately only was able to use this power chair for about three months so it is in great condition and practically brand new from the seller, as well as other household items.  In addition, we have a couple smaller estates items that are being included in this sale.  As you shop this sale you may feel as though you have traveled a bit because we have so many items from many parts of the world as collections become a legend of travels.  As you shop for items at this sale you will see a Camel Saddle, Legrate Wine Bottle Opener, Leather Luggage, Painting of what appears to be Venice need I say more…....stepping back in time and glancing into the future is always so much fun and attending our sale you can see an era gone by as well as future projects that you can begin or finish with the goodies you find.  Estate Sales are great opportunities to purchase those treasures we all seek at estate sales.
