Live Oak Auctions is proud to come to Corsicana to present this estate of the family who owned Everett Antiques. As the locals who remember this business would expect, items in this auction can be hundreds (plural) of years old, are highly collectable, many exceedingly rare, and have survived over the decades- even centuries in, or have been restored to, immaculate condition.
The Flow Blue Collection in this auction is unprecedented. Lot after lot of authentic, marked English Flow Blue pieces to fill the dining room in your mansion, and your neighbor’s as well. Calling all collectors of Flow Blue and Antique English Pottery/China- do not miss the collection of Royal Doulton Watteau from 1916 that is spread throughout the lots in this auction. You will also find Limoges, Wedgwood, Nippon, and Waterford.
The antique furniture in this auction is in exceptional condition and sure to last another 100 years, or so. One of the owners of Everett Antiques was well-known for his expertise at restoring antique furniture. American Victorian by Eastlake, a Welsh Dresser, two Marble-Top Commodes, sturdy hand crafted pieces with hand cut dovetail joints, and a Birdseye Maple Bedroom Set are just a few of the highlights here. Other great finds are antique Ansonia Clocks, Hurricane Oil Lamps, gadgets, and very interesting conversation starter pieces. The same man that restored furniture also made the stained glass pieces by hand.
The Christmas collections of this estate are wide-ranging and highly collectable. There is a complete set of Limoges 12 Days of Christmas Plates, and Ornament Collections by Waterford, Clothtique, Lenox, and More. Santa Figurines and animated displays come in all sizes and go back decades through time. And yes, the 1950’s hard plastic face Pixie Elves are here.
Antique enthusiasts, collectors, and dealers will appreciate their stroll back through time and the incredible wealth the estate holders invested in their business and personal collections. For those of you who remember Everett Antiques, here is your chance to see these enchanting antiques once again, and maybe even to acquire a piece, or ten, for yourself. Good luck with your highest bids and we look forward to seeing you in Corsicana, Texas! Remember, shipping is available for smaller (non furniture) items.
