The exact address of the pick-up will be on the invoice e-mailed after the auction goes offline. All items not picked up during the scheduled pick-up time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold.
Bring necessary tools and help for pick-up. Loading help is NOT available. Receipts are emailed to winning bidders once the sale has completely closed. Full payment must be received within 24 hours of auction close or your items will be resold and your bidding privileges will be revoked. The full address for pick-up will be on winning bidders' invoices. If you do not receive a copy of your invoice via email, please log into your account on CTBids and visit Invoices/Receipts.
All invoices under five thousand dollars ($5,000) will be auto-charged to the primary card on file in your user profile for the total amount. Purchases of five thousand dollars ($5,000) or more will require an auto-charge of 10% of the invoice total. Remaining payment for those invoices must be handled between you and the Seller; the invoice must be paid in full before receiving a receipt for items won.
If we are not able to process full payment by the payment deadline, your items may be resold and your bidding privileges may be revoked. Non-compliance with our payment, shipping, and/or pick-up procedures may result in account suspension.
SHIPPING: Shipping is available at the buyer's expense, including a $15/lot handling fee. Please see Shipping Terms for additional details. NOT ALL LOTS CAN BE SHIPPED NO SHIPPING ON FURNITURE, RUGS, OR OTHER LARGE ITEMS. NO SHIPPING ON LARGE LOTS OF BREAKABLE ITEMS SUCH AS CHINA OR GLASS.
All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped. Items to be shipped cannot be removed from the location without payment. If total payment is not received before pick-up, items will be forfeited and bidding privileges revoked.
An 18% Buyer's Premium plus Sales Tax will be added to the final bid amount when invoiced.
We have made every effort to describe lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic, or mechanical device. Electronics have been plugged in and turned on, but not tested. Dimensions given may be approximate.
Note on jewelry/art/high-end items: Any such items have *not* been appraised by a professional unless otherwise noted. Please make your own judgments by reviewing the photos. These items are sold AS IS WHERE IS with no refunds or returns.
Questions: ALL questions about items, including flaws, originality of artwork, quality of jewelry, etc., MUST be asked BEFORE bidding. If an item has been shipped to you and you have any questions or concerns, you MUST report this within two (2) days.
