S O S Estate Sale in Dallas

The estate sale this week is almost on the line between Highland Park and Dallas.  It is a four story condo home and is filled with quality furnishings.  The owner was an architect and they have some pristine Mid Century Modern furniture with names that you will recognize.  Lots of art - prints, posters, photos, original, some tramp art, and sculptures, as well as pottery. 

The first floor is street level with a bedroom and garage.  The items found on this floor are:  Full size bed, vintage tables and rocker, small book shelf, chest/nightstand, Haywood-Wakefield chair, Van Briggle lamp, bedding, fabric, pillows, luggage stand, cameras - Nikon, Canon, Hewlett Packard, and Brownie 8 projector.  The garage area has Inter Metro shelving units, wood folding chairs, white office furniture pieces, books - mostly older, vases, baskets, file cabinets, Elfa storage units, microwave, coffee pot, and various kitchen items, twin size bed, vintage Brown Jordan furniture.

The second level consista of kitchen, living area, study, and balcony.  You will find absolutely the best in Mid Century Modern furniture.  Hans Wegner design by Johannes Hansen Dining Table with leaves and a set of six chairs,  pair of arm chairs by Hans Wegner/Johannes Hansen, custom chrome sofa in the style of Knoll, Danish Modern console, TW Stender sculpture "Wave Goodbye" table, black/white pig, art - prints, photos, posters, Tribal Mask and painted tribal figure, antique oak table with 2 slide-out leaves, flat screen TV, pr. of lamps, floor lamp, pair of side tables, full kitchen includes Fiesta ware in primary colors, vintage Brown Jordan table with chairs and also two chairs.

The third floor is the master suite where you will find:  Pair of 3 drawer chest designed by Paul McCobb for the Planter Group, and also a vanity box with mirror, white painted cabinet with matching night stand, set of 4 director chairs, Ladies size large clothing, purses, belts, scarves and hats also. Costume jewelry, pottery by Weller and Red Wing, collectibles - mini's, dolls, and few real funky dolls.

The basement level is where you will find:  Desk/table, office chair, new white wooden fold out table, Brass Sousaphone Tuba missing mouthpiece, framed prints and photos, vintage children's clothing, office supplies, and holiday decor.
