NOTE--DAYS OF SALE HAVE CHANGED:  We originally planned to be open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  However, Highland Park does not allow a sale to run 3 days in a row.  Therefore, we will be open Thursday and Friday, then close all day on Saturday and reopen on Sunday at 12 p.m. until 4 p.m.

 

Home of Margaret M. McDermott, Mrs. Eugene McDermott, well known Dallas philanthropist and art collector.  Her major art collection went to the Dallas Museum of Art, and family has taken some art and many other things—but we still have an amazing sale at her home, a large and architecturally significant Texas Modern house by Scott Lyons, full of her vintage, antique, and mid-century furniture, and including some great art that did not go to the DMA.  In addition, her extensive collections of china, crystal, silver, decorative accessories, linens, clothes, books, Christmas items—and much more is available! Understandably, we will have to limit access at opening.  House located at corner of Drexel and Euclid.  Enter up driveway at 4701 Drexel to front door.  Parking on Euclid, Drexel, and Fairfield. Highland Park police will monitor traffic, parking, and loading areas!  Note we start this sale on Thursday going through Saturday.  This is a sale people will remember for years to come—so don't miss it!  Mrs. McDermott had incredible taste, and was well known in Dallas art and philanthropic areas—an amazing lady who died a year ago at age 106.
