This gorgeous Highland Park home was decorated by the famed designer John Astin Perkins! This early Texas family is also a direct descendant of Perkins and inherited many of his important collections. Perkins was largely responsible for the “Dallas Look” that was marked by bright colors and patterns, traditional, antique and modern furniture with highly accessorized rooms. His designs were featured in Architectural Digest, Town & Country, House & Garden and House Beautiful. During his lifetime, John Astin Perkins appeared in Architectural Digest more times than any other designer.
