Description & Details

On occasion one of those truly old-fashioned estate sales happens.  This one is going to be fun for all because of the variety that has been collected over the more than 60 years that the family has lived in this same home.  This old-Dallas family with roots to old East Dallas, Tyler and elsewhere have done a great job of collecting and enjoying all of their purchases from the past 60 years as well as those inherited from the family.

When you look at the pictures, you will understand what was done to set this one up.  We had to put tables in every conceivable location in order to empty the furniture, cabinets, storage pantry and closets.  Among the photos you will note:

-    China sets including Royal Doulton, Lenox, Havilland, Spode and others.

-    Silver plated and sterling serving pieces, trays, service ware and specialty pieces

-    Boxed antique fish set, sterling server set;, specialty cutlery, etc

-    Antique 7-drawer cabinet chest with flame matched drawers

-    Set of eight (8) Chinese Chippendale dining chairs with wide seats and strong bases

-    Beds

-    Crystal including STEUBEN stemware, bowls, etc.; Cranberry flash and full cranberry sets

-    Pair of mahogany gallery tables

-    Dresden figures and candelabra

-    Collectible glass including Czecho-Slovakia, Lalique, Waterford, Edinburgh, etc.

-    Antique and reproduction IMARI, some with original export paperwork

-    Interesting oil, litho and print decor

-    Dining buffet in mahogany and satinwood

-    Antique chairs

-    We think 3000 plus books but it could be closer to 4000

-    Kitchen collectibles, cookware and small appliances

-    Cookbooks out the wazoo

-    Pump organ or REED organ in tact and complete working order

-    Custom lamps

-    Antique upright Victoria

-    A garage that will not be finished in time for the sale and will therefore require a bit of digging

-    Costume jewelry

-    Some rather unique clothing, a mink shrug and a mink capelette with sleeves

-    Stuff, stuff and more stuff

We hope this sale truly provides the opportunity for finding that one thing that you have not seen before.
