I have received several calls asking if we will pre-sell some of the treasures listed and or in the pictures.  Our policy is that we do not sell anything before the doors open the day of the sale.  Thank you for your understanding that we desire to be fair to each customer as it is first come first serve.

A house, garage, shed and backyard packed full. Ruth had an awesome eye for the finer things, things that most would never know were worth anything by looking at them. You really have to take your time and view each picture to see all of the wonderful treasures, things you've never seen before and some that you see once or twice in a life time. Besides loving her truly vintage Asian relics, decor, furniture she also loved her frogs, turtles, butterflies and a very large collection of boxes. The boxes vary from figural, snuff, candy, porcelain, wood, puzzle and more. A very rare Lalique piece and others, Waterford, Daum, jewelry. When you get to the backyard the plants are just awesome, pots, decorative items, stones, patio furniture and more.

Well, the Ruth Taylor Estate Sale is finally upon us.  This magnificent sale starts this coming Friday at 9 a.m through Sunday.  This sale has several very unusual smalls that are very hard to find and some are once in a lifetime.  There are pieces of old Lalique, 17-18th Century Asian pieces, a very large collection of boxes of all types and shapes, furniture, lamps, vintage clothing, glassware.  Mrs. Taylor also loved her bird, frog and turtle collections, there are some sterling and gold pieces as well.  There are so many wonderful treasures it is too hard to list them all.  Please take time to take a look at the pictures.

Due to several break-ins over the past few months we have added cameras throughout the house inside and out.  We do not leave anything smalls of value at the house, they are kept in a safe offsite and brought the morning of the sale.  We will have an officer on hand. The house is smaller and so packed there will have to be limited access, only allowing so many in at a time.  If there are any issues of being rude, shoving, grabbing or arguing those shoppers will be asked to leave and not return.  Our goal is to honor Mrs. Ruth Taylor as best we can, we ask that you read and obey the requested rules of the sale.

There is not any parking in front of the house on Bluffview Blvd as it is a major street.  There are a lot of side streets, please pay attention and be careful as the drivers tend to speed up and down the street.  Be courteous of the neighbors as they put up with us for the three days of the sale.

If you are a buyer please make sure when you select items that you want them.  If items are selected and set aside for you and then you decide you do not want some of the items then you forfeit being able to purchase any of the items you selected.  We have to be fair to all of our potential buyers as well as our client and not remove items that someone else would purchase but leave because they felt the item(s) were already sold.

NOTE:  All dealers must have their filled out resale forms or we will have to charge tax.  We cannot hold up the checkout line to have forms filled out.

Absolutely no children allowed.

No large purses or bags unless they are shopping bags.

Bring help for loading larger items.

Please bring packing to protect the treasures you purchase.

Lastly please be patient and kind.

The sale is in Dallas on the weekend of October 18-20th, 9-4 all three days. The house is occupied along with an alarm system. No valuable treasures will be left in the home and will be there the morning of the sale.

The sale address will come out at 6 a.m. the morning of the sale due to several break-ins over the past month. Thank you for understanding.
