Estate Sale - “Prestonwood Meadows” (Dallas)

This week we have a wonderful sale in the heart of the “Prestonwood Meadows” neighborhood in Dallas packed full of hundreds of interesting items from a family that lived in the same home for 44 years.  Goodies from their careers in retail and travel industries can be seen throughout.  Categories include: Colognes and Perfumes, Designer Sterling & Costume Jewelry, Lalique, Lladro, Betty Boop, M&M’s, Designer Belts & Clothing (Men’s & Women’s), Waterford, Baccarat, Electronics, Flat Screen TV’s, Dallas Cowboys & Texas Longhorn Memorabilia, and Small to X-Large Garden Pots.  There is a huge assortment, and all the rooms are packed with interesting goodies.  We will limit the number of people in the house and will distribute sequential numbers to those who are waiting to enter.  We will use the same numbers for serving order in the jewelry area located at check-out.  Thanks for your patience!

  Entry / Living Room / Checkout Area – features vintage original Uncle Sherman and Aunt Sophie Flasher Dolls from 1976 novelty.  We have a pair of antique cut Leather Hand Painted Shadow Puppets from Indonesia.  We have designer Sterling from Richard Kerr and Patricia Chope among others.  We have Bracelets (soft & hard), Necklaces, assorted Earrings, Pins, Pendants, Charms, and Rings.  We lots of costume earrings.  Some are designer including: Lunch at the Ritz, Wizard of Oz, and Allice in Wonderland.  Come early for the best selection.  We have carved Bone and Ivory figurines.  We have a Minolta SRT101 camera and a Minolta 135mm F2.8 Lens.  We have a Nikon F3 with Motor Drive and Nikon – Nikkor 105mm lens.  We have an acrylic art piece by Van Teal.  We have Jade items, Colognes, Perfumes, Waterford, Baccarat, Lalique, and Lladro figurines.  We also have some watches. Some are new, and a few are vintage.

We have two shelves of Betty Boop collectables - including some cute socks.  We have a great dining table.  It is a black lacquered table with three leaves.  There are six Black & White Side Chairs and two Arm Chairs - sold separately.  It is an awesome table and would also make a great Conference Table.  There is also beige leather recliner love seat.  Two people can recline at the same time individually.

There is a matching beige leather two oversized two cushion couch that also reclines so two people can recline separately or together.  We have lots of silver-plate serving pieces and some sterling serving pieces.  We have some Haviland dishes and Limoges dishes.  We have a wedding dress from the 1920’s with documentation from the Textile Conservation Workshop.  We have interesting pieces from around the world.  We have some Comic Books including: Marvel West Coast Avengers, Marvel Avengers, Back to the Future, G.I. Joe, Spider Man, X Men among others.  This room alone can make your visit to the sale worth your time.

The large dining table in this room is loaded with very interesting collectables.  We have men’s fragrances including: British Sterling, Delco Gabbana, Eternity for Men, and Grey Flannel.  All are new in the box.  We also have women’s fragrances including: Bathsheba, Stella in Two Peony, Michael Kors – Very Hollywood, and Jean Paul Grabbier Summer Fragrance.  We also have a tray of assorted perfumes in miniature bottles.  We have designer belts by:  Hartnell, Leatherock, Inc., Raid, Brighton, and Michelle Monroe.  We have a few pieces of Baccarat; a Bird and Jelly / Mustard dish.  We have a Lalique birds, a swan ring dish, a bird ring dish, and an Ash Tray.  We have a Stuben heart paper weight, a Sabina a ring dish and perfume bottle.  We have a vase made by Strombergshyttan.  There is a cube stone table, a stone vase, a vintage electric clock (working), and a modern Lamp with shade (BNI).  We have a large Paddington Bear and a bunny.  There is also a large Raggedy Andy Doll.  There is a copy of a Picasso (print).  There is a bear made with “Real Fur” - soft and cuddly.  There are designer purses, a vintage leather jacket, a Fox coat, and embellished jackets.  Some are fur, and some are leather.  There is a very nice silver-plate tea, coffee and cream & sugar set with large tray.  There is a lot more in this room, so come early to get the best items.  We have a vintage brass ink well desktop set with tray and two ink wells.  We have a basket of vintage gloves.  Most are leather.  There is a lot of stuff in this room, so come early for the best selection.

  Hallway / Dining Room – features wood characters signed by artist Joseph Kormgett (died in 2011).  We have an awesome Asian design area rug with fringes on two ends.  The primary color is black with multi-colored flowers for accent.  There are three Rowents pressure iron and steamer (all new in box).  We have some very nice Menorahs in brass, metal, & stained glass.  The hall wall is covered with framed art.  We have Dallas Cowboys, Longhorns, and Dallas Stars memorabilia.  We have three flat screen TV’s.  Two are Samsung, one is LG, and a smaller one is Sharp.  We have a glazed ceramic planter, a pair of red TV trays, and a storage holder.

We have a JVC DVD Player, a Sony DVD / VHS Combo, and a Sony AM/FM Tuner Amplifier.   We also have a Sony Surround Sound with 4 column speakers and Sub-woofer.   We have an HP Officejet  K80, some CD’s, DVD’s and some VHS tapes.  There is a Sony portable TV tuner, a Worldstar Multi Band Receiver, and a desk-mounted slide out keyboard tray (new in the box).

  Master Bedroom / Boutique – features designer clothing and accessories including: scarves, belts, purses and shoes.  There is a Rem Ellis, Very Vers, Red Suede Skirt and Top and Cache’ Suede Top.  We have a rolling rack full of designer pants including: Begeden, Kelli Keuri, Christine Albers, Alberto Makale’, and Ali embellished jeans, Paolo Santini, Magaschoni, Guess, Mossimo, McKenna, SOS, Brazil Roxx, and David Meister.  We have lots of Blazers including: August Silk, David David, Criscione, David Buckman, Jacket Required, DKNY, Lori Zoni, Susan Beebe, Adam Douglas, Sandi Starkman, Cache’, and, Lili Crepon.

We have some nice designer ladies suits including: Lili Ruben, St, John’s, Petty Angel, Christian Dior, Rickie Freeman, Gruppo American, Karen Lawrence, Tina Hagen, Johnny Was, and Nicole Miller.

We have nice Jacket sets including: Martin Francois Girbaud, Yvonne & Marie, Christine Albers, H&M, Pama, Trina Turk, and Lila P.  We have nice skirts including:  Ann Taylor, Pat Dahn, Lord & Taylor, and Hazel.  We have sweaters including: Charlotte, Tarantula, Willow, Chico, Talbots, Evelyn Arthur, Tant, Victor Costa (two piece), Tracy Reese, Babette, Jenny Han, and Sari Rubensein.

We have some nice tops from designers such as: Calvin Klein, Lilla P, Liz Claiborne, Tart, and Annette, Keller.  We have nice evening wear including: Shara Gano (Paris), Cattiva Ungaro, Laurence Kafar, Hare Gauwer, Cassandra Stone (beaded bustier), and Bison Bisou.

We have a large selection of designer purses including:  Mulinkam Carlos Santana, Francisco Biasia, Nine West, Big Buddah, IPA Nima, Sterling Alligator, Pithom Purse, LongChamp, The Sak, Steven Madden, Louis Vitton (knock off), Ganson, Mosia De Great, Jacqueline Jarrot Muccillo, Dr, Yanni, Junior Drake, Carlos Falchi, Perdro De La Cruz, Carla Mancini, Vertigo Paris, Modern Designs, INZI, Lisa Ganz, Angelina Frasconem, LAB, Redd, Zenith, J Tiers, Moyna, and Hobb.

We have designer boots/shoes by  Tony Lama, Stuart Weitzman, Ferragamo, Ellen Tracy, Nickles, Skechers, Jessica Simpson, Rampage, Bettye Muller, Tracy Reese, Robert Clergerie (Paris), Vera Pelli, Bonita, Issac Mizrahi, Van Eli, Elite, Easy Spirit, Naturalizer, Spring Step, Clarke, Merrell, PanCaldi, Bauno Magli, BCBD, Nine West, Jessica Bennet, Donald J. Pliner, and Mario Boutique.

We also have designer belts by Hartnell, Leatherrock, Inc., Raid, Brighton, and Michelle Monroe.  We also have an antique Victrola Deluxe record player in an awesome wood case (includes lots of records).  There are some nice vintage hankie’s, and a great storage unit with cubbies at the top and drawers on the bottom.  We have some awesome hats and a Pro-Form ReFlex Step elliptical exercise machine.  There are some very nice throw pillows and a black love seat couch that folds out into a Double Bed.  We also have some nice luggage, an AB Lounge Sport Exerciser, and an M8.2 Personal Cycle Trainer Precor Exercise Bike.  We also have some hand weights.  This room has lots of stuff, so be sure to come early for the best selection.

  Back Bedroom / Men’s Clothing – features a collection of M&M’s items and a collection of dolls.  There is also a collection of stuffed animals and assorted books.  We have a nice TV or Electronics stand and a vintage Samsung TV/DVD Combo unit on a stand with Casters.  There is a nice selection of luggage and a light colored double dresser with a Tri-Fold mirror.  We have a wall unit headboard with light bar and side storage units.  The back is mirrored and the top lifts up for storage.  This is a very nice piece in light wood.  There are also some nice throw pillows and a nice selection of men’s clothing.  We start with Two Tuxedoes by Bill Blass and Christian Dior.  We then move to men’s suits from the following designers; Roberto Vasalli, Perry Ellis, Adolfo, Hugo Boss, Marcus, Zylos, Nuova (for Harrods), Hertling (for Neiman Marcus), Polo (for Ralph Lauren), Krizia, Gianelli, Corbin, Chaps – Ralph Lauren (for Sakes Fifth Avenue), Hertling (for Niemen Marcus) and Gerald Austin.  Then there are sports coats by the following designers; Hart Schaffner & Marx, Halston, and Brooks Brothers.  There are men’s shoes and neck ties also with short and long sleeve shirts.  There is a nice selection of workout tops & hats.  We have two nice cashmere coats as well as some sweaters and long sleeve knit tops.  There are many shoe trees.  There is a Yellow Rain Coat along with a Texas Jacket.  Come early for the best selection of clothing shoes and shirts.

  Front Bedroom – features a double dresser in black faux wood along with two wall mirrors that hang on the wall.  There is a large headboard storage unit with light bar that is wide enough for a queen bed.  The bed is a plate form with a nice Simmons Maxipedic Mattress.  We have some nice wall art and lots of Queen and King Bedding (some are sets).   We have pillows, blankets, comforters, and protectors.  We have some nice decorative pillows.  This room also has some great clothing.  Make sure you come early for the best selection.

  Hall Bathroom / Hall – features some nice clothing mostly tops and some nice formal long dresses along with a long cashmere coat.  For Betty Boop fans we have some Betty Boop pictures and a Betty Boop license plate.  We have two very nice framed landscape pictures.  The bath has lots of towels - bath, hand, and wash cloth, and nice round clothes hamper.  There is a nice selection of over the counter items.  We have lots of mirrors including a lighted one, hair dryers, soaps and a vintage Doc Johnson the explorer speed cosmetic body massage vibrator set.  There are cosmetics, nail polish, nose and ear hair cutters, hot rollers, a curling iron, and a Body Med.  There are shampoos, hand and body creams, and a vanity tissue and basket set. There is a rubber donut and a Himalayan salt natural crystal rock lamp.  There is much more, so come early for the best selection.  In the hall we also have a nice mounted Fish and a great framed mirror with fabric frame.

  Kitchen / Eating Area – features a Kenmore Side-by-Side Fridge/Freezer White with Ice-Maker.  It works well - keeps food nice and cold.  We have a small round white accent table and a nice etched glass cube lamp with shade (BNI), two cute witches just in time for Halloween along with a rolling rack of Halloween Costumes.  We have full costumes, masks, hats, yard décor, partial costumes, and more.  We also have yard décor.  We have a vintage Popcorn Machine, and a full size Mad Scientist (about 6’ tall).  There are two nice waste containers.  One is stainless round the other is stainless square.  We have a great Make-Up table with a tri-Fold Mirror.  It has drawers for storage and nice wood.  We have a large stainless steel mixing bowl and a basket of napkins.  There is a large wood salad bowl with wood servers and a tri-divided wood leaf for snacks.  We have assorted dishes and serving bowls, stainless steel non sip bowls, pots and pans, Pyrex and Corning ware bowls.  We have Bake ware (cake, muffins, cookies) and more.  We have two blenders, an oval slow cooker, a Cuisinart coffee-maker, and a fondue set. There are serving dishes and many kitchen gadgets along with many knives.  We have potted window sill plants, thermos pitchers, a glass server, serving dishes, cups and glasses, silverware, table linens and napkins along with runners.  There is a large wooden meat cutting/serving platter with longhorn handles. 

  Family Room / Bar Area – features assorted glasses.  Some are crystal.  There are some interesting shot glass and bottle pourers.  We have wine items and some bottle openers.  There is a Sharp Carousel Half Pint Microwave Oven and some decorative bottles.  There are multiple Square vases in different heights.  There are glass pitchers and matching glasses.  The poker game table has four fold out legs.  It has mostly camera equipment on the table now along with some vintage and new playing cards.  We have a Velbon Video Tri-pod with case, a JVC Digital Video Camera with accessories and case.  There is a Flash 171, a Canon Camera, a few Polaroid cameras, and a Quasar Color Video Camera with accessories.

We have Minolta and Nikon cameras near the checkout area.  Under the game table we have assorted paper, file folders, page protectors, and tablets.  There are multiple boxes of office papers.  We have a vintage Kodak Pageant Sound Projector in like new condition.  There are two vintage AV Projector / Slide Tables by Logan Show – King.  We also have a vintage Canon PS-1000 Cine Projector and a vintage Underwood Portable Typewriter.  We have vases, staples, cards, pens and pencils, tape stamps, tape, a hole punch, adding machines and paper rolls.  We have a nice vintage Mechanical MILLS Slot Machine - British will work best with British 5 cent coins.  Yes, it comes with the American nickels that are inside.  We have a vintage Locked Paymaster Protection and a vintage Paymaster Ribbon Writer – Locked Protection.  There is also a Kodak Carousel 760 with Auto Focus and a matched vintage set of book ends, a metal ruler, and an ash tray (which could be used for paper clips).  There is a vintage AST Premium Exec 386SX/20 Processor (untested).  We have two Poker Chip sets.  One is in a wood case and has Marlboro on the top, and the other poker set has a metal carry case.  We have a vintage clock (no key).

We have a lateral two drawer file cabinet, and on top of this are puzzles and games.  We have a Backgammon set and a 2005 Executive Elite Marshmallow Blaster (like new) in carry case.  There is a vintage game from Frontier Airlines Summer Scapes 1983.  This was a gift to travel agencies - rare.  We have a few dozen 33 RPM vinyl records.  There are lots of nice games and dominos so come early for the best game selection.  We have a small round metal glass top table and a modern black adjustable lamp.  We have two vintage framed paintings (awesome frames).  We have a blue three high plastic bin and three sets of battery candles.  Remotes for each set are at check-out.  We have a vintage movie camera with carry case, and some brief cases.  There is a set of three brass ultra-modern vases, a metronome, and some giraffes on top of a vintage player piano that has a bench.  We have at least 45 player piano rolls (priced separately).  There is a great (like new) Oreck XL Celoc Hypo-Allergenic Plus Vacuum.  There is also a vintage Movie Screen in good condition.  There is a brown leather arm chair with a matching ottoman.  We have a vintage Barber Chair with red arms, foot rest, back and seat in good condition.  This room is full of very interesting and one-of-a-kind items.

  Large Patio – features assorted planters.  Some are 3 feet tall.  Some have plants.  Some are empty.  There is a lot of decorative yard art, and there is a nice selection of wind chimes.  There is an awesome mirrored planter, and a Brinkman Grill model # 820-6420S.  We have two extra-large planters that are over three feet tall.  There is a two tiered bird bath, and a sixteen foot aluminum ladder.  There are two pots that are two feet tall with plants, and there are two propane tanks (almost full).  There is a large umbrella with stand and some pool chemicals and a small Rubbermaid storage unit.  There are many types of stepping stones and plant holders along with trellises and poles.  There is a fish planter along with lots of fun stuff (floats and games) for a swimming pool.  There is also lots of decorative wall or fence art.  Come early for the best selection.

  Large Double Garage – features a Mercedes 380SL Convertible Top.  This item has a manual at check-out.  We have a nice illustrators’ adjustable height table that is adjusts from seated to standing heights.  There is a hydro farm light for growing plants.  Are you looking for a tall Kenmore upright frostless freezer this one works well.  We have a Kenmore steam floor cleaner and a vintage Singer Sewing Machine with cabinet (needs work).  There is a beige chest and an awesome vintage Telefunken stereo in a nice Wein cabinet.  It works!  We have three plastic shelving units full of lots of interesting items.  There are cleaning supplies and cases of wide- mouth Mason jars.  We have boxes of new rubber gloves and packages of Depends and bed protecting items.  We have two nice patio chairs with arms and a small metal collapsible wire bakers rack / plant holder.  There is a wooden base for an aquarium.

There are two adjustable lounge chairs with cushions.  There is a nice fire pit (new) from Garden Treasures.  There is some nice yard art (more out on the patio).

We have an easel and an acrylic cubical storage unit.  We have a Shark Vacuum, and some craft items.  We have a wood rack with plastic bins, and a storage unit with open wire baskets.  There are 3 wheelchairs in a variety of styles and at varying prices.  We have walkers, crutches, potty chairs, and other care items.  There are lawn and garden chemicals, along with a Holmes space heater.  We have hand tools like saws, extension cords, and a bulb changer.  We have a tackle box with fishing lures and tackle.  We have four camping chairs in their own carry bags.  We have some new flooring still in boxes.  There are boxes of vintage Playboy Magazines (1964 - 1974) and Penthouse Magazines (1998 – 2001).  We have a small Sanyo Fridge.  The middle table features hand tools and supplies.
