Fantastic Antique House
Decatur Sale
This is a house built in 1901 and is full of antiques and lots and lots of treasures. I know that this seems like a long drive but it is well worth the trip. It only takes about 30 minutes from 820 and I35. Come on up and see what a wonderful home this is, all its tresures and have lunch at one of Decatur's great downtown diners. We have walked through the home and taken these pictures. We have found tables that have been left in a barn for about 100 years and has been refinished. There are crystal lamps, bowls, and decanters. Lovely couches, chairs and beautiful tables. There are dome front display cabinets and a smoking cabinet which is lined with copper. There is an antique childrens rocker and also a rocker that once belonged to the homeowner's mother. There is a nice collection of Carousels, Snow Globes and Merry-Go-Rounds. All of them are Musical. There are some Lenox ones, Precious Moments and lots more. As you can by the pictures we have found lots of Blue Glass and even some Cranberry Glass. There is some Vasiline Glass and Carnival Glass. The antique lamps around the home are fantastic.
In the master bedroom there are some great chairs, tables and a beautiful vanity set. The garage is also full and there is a lot of old Christmas items.
This home has many and I mean many treasures waiting to be found.
