Terms & Conditions

CASH,Credit Card, Debit Card, ZELLE, & APPLE PAY. Pricing is firm and clearly marked. Leading estate‑sale companies price items based on fair market value and explicitly state that “all items [are] priced as marked” — haggling is not part of their process
. They also note that “all items [are] sold as‑is,” so buyers are encouraged to inspect items carefully
All sales are final. Terms typically emphasize that no returns or refunds are allowed
. Once you buy an item, the transaction is complete; buyers cannot change their minds or seek a return later.
Payment methods and fees.
. Collecting sales tax as required by law is also common.
Removal of purchases. Buyers must remove items from the property by the end of the sale day; large items may be held until day’s end if agreed upon at purchase
. Companies remind shoppers to bring their own labor and equipment for moving heavy pieces
No early previews or price quotes. Many estate‑sale companies will not quote prices over the phone or via email
. The aim is to encourage full access and foot traffic at the sale itself.
Liability and conduct. Shoppers are asked to enter at their own risk. Blue Moon’s terms include a disclaimer that the company “is not responsible for any accidents” during the sale
. They may also prohibit large handbags, food or drinks in the sale area to protect merchandise
. Consent to security cameras or photography is sometimes required as well
Privacy and security. For privacy reasons, the exact address of the sale may only be released shortly before the event. Listings may warn that early arrivals or “pre‑sale shoppers” are not permitted.
