World renowned violinists Ruggerio Ricci, Berl Senofsky, Roman Totenberg. Beloved El Paso Symphony Orlando Barrera and more. The famous also included former Israeli prime minister Menachen Begin, former US senator Eugene  Mcarthy, former US Ambassador John Kenneth Galbraith, Glenna Luschei Author Publisher Poet, John Rechey book City of Night  Novelist and essayist, Julian Schwinger Nobel prize theoretical physicist, Lawrence Nixon fought for 1932 right to vote for African Americans in Texas Democratic primaries, too name a few.
