Description & Details

This is the first time the Military Museum of Fort Worth has offered its surplus and duplicate items to the public. In order to downsize the museum it is time to get rid of many of the items that have been donated with no ability to research or connect to a story of service or they areremnants of collections that were donated specifically for resale to benefit the museum financially. Much if this comes from Buchanan’s in weatherford after they unfortunately closed.

These items are all ready priced to move for collectors or even resellers. Whatever is left on Sunday we will be taking offers for bulk sale or  discounted individual pieces.

just to be clear, there is way more for sale that is not represented in the photos because we ran out of uploads.

The historical items for sale range from the time period of the early 1800s through modern day. There are also lots of items from other countries that were irrelevant to display in the museum. The majority of artifacts can be dated to World War I, WW II, Korea, Vietnam, Cold War, Gulf wars,  and Afghanistan. There are a wide range of artifacts from uniforms to hats to helmets, postcards, photographs, framed pictures, insignia, patches, Afghan relics, books, maps, military luggage, pillowcases, flags, banners, toys, models, G.I., Joe, vehicles, action, figure, accessories, collectible knives, signed limited edition  prints and posters. There are quite a There are quite a few Civil War paper documents that were too numerous to photograph. Some collectible coins,And lots of surplus  shirts, BDUs, field jackets, cold-weather gear, flight suits, trench coats, pea coats and stuff great for vintage clothing. There are also lots of infrastructure items available, such as mannequins, full-size and torso, make and female, various sized display cases with and without lights, pedestals, tables, chairs, shelving units, folding tables, lots of glass shelving for sales displays, styrofoam heads, and other display stuff. 

The proceeds of this sale will all go to benefit the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Military Museum of Fort Worth. The sale will be from 9 AM to 4 PM on Saturday and from 12 PM to 5 PM on Sunday. We look forward to seeing you and we hope that you will purchase some items of use that will benefit our museums new home.
