Auction Terms & Conditions -
PREVIEW is available for this auction on the Friday and Saturday preceding the auction by calling or texting 903-875-9458 for an appointment.
All items sold as is where is with all faults and with no warranties express or implied. Buyer is responsible for inspection of items prior to bidding. We may or may not inspect or call damage or condition of items. Please call us or text us at Silver Lake 903-875-9458 prior to auction day if you are entering an absentee / online bid and have a question about an item. Buyers are encouraged to closely physically inspect items prior to the auction. By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them. A bid is a binding contract. Non paying bidders will be reported to Hibid.

There will be a 13 per cent buyer's premium added to the total of items purchased for this auction with a 3 per cent discount for cash payment. This is to help cover the cost of auction workers and incidental expenses.

There will be Texas Sales Tax of 7.75% unless the buyer has a valid resale tax certificate on file with us or the item being sold is not subject to sales tax, such as U.S. coins and currency.

Methods of payment include cash, check, credit card, and you are now able to pay with Paypal if you wish. There is a $35 charge for returned checks. For most auctions we do not use Hibid's checkout system therefore once you receive your invoice you will need to call us with your card info or come by the auction house to pay.

Winning bidders will be sent an email the day following the auction if they win items. If the sale site says you "may have won" but you still have not received an invoice after 24 hours, please check your spam, and if its not there, please call us. 903-875-9458

PICKUP will be by appointment at 121 N Garitty, Frost, Texas on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and til Noon on Saturday. You must call or text to set a pickup time. 903-875-9458.
All items won must be paid for by noon Saturday. Bidders who do not follow through with payment by the deadline will have their bids cancelled and the items may be sold to the backup bidder or returned to consignor. Buyers must either pick up their items, arrange shipping, or arrange storage by Saturday at noon. Any items left at the auction past this day, whether paid for or not, are thereby abandoned and may be resold or disposed of unless arrangements have been made for storage.

Buyers are responsible for packing and loading items and encouraged to bring their own packing materials and loading help. Once you are declared the winner of an item you are responsible for loss or damage.

By placing a bid through this website or by absentee or at live auction, you are entering into a legally binding contract and agree to follow through with the payment for and pickup of the item as specified above. Bidder expressly agrees not to stop payment, dispute or contest auction transactions and agrees to payment rules and item abandonment rules above stated.

Silver Lake Auction LLC and its consignors reserve the right to remove any and all items from a sale at any time, up until the time the item is sold, and auction may be canceled or postponed in the event of inclement weather, power outages, or other unforeseen events.

If the auction is being done as a live auction, all announcements made at the live auction supercede all previous announcements online or offline. Live floor bids have priority over absentee bidders in the case of a TIE BID. For example if an item starts at $5.00, you bid $7.50 absentee, and no other absentee bids are left. The auctioneer will ask for $7.50 to open. If there is a floor bid for $7.50, the absentee bidder (you) will not win the item. If no one at the live auction enters a bid, you will win the item for $5.00.

All sales are final with no returns.

Anyone who is age 18 or over may bid, however Silver Lake Auction LLC reserves the right to reject a bid from any bidder. Bidders who have negative hibid ratings or who have failed to pay or pickup items previously may have their bids cancelled or denied. Workers at the auction as well as the auctioneer himself may bid. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. For live auctions, in the event of a dispute between bidders, or if the auctioneer doubts the validity of a bid, the auctioneer shall have sole discretion to name the successful bidder, reopen the bidding between two tie bidders, or resell the item.

Bidders are responsible for their own merchandise once they are recognized as the purchaser.

The auctioneer may at his discretion combine or divide lots during a live auction.

Anyone entering the auction premises for any reason does so at their own risk. Neither Silver Lake Auction LLC nor Garitty Pace LLC (owner of the premises) are responsible for accidents, nor is the auctioneer.

If you are unable to attend a live auction or are not comfortable using a computer or phone to bid, you may leave an absentee bid by calling us up to 24 hours before the auction begins to close.

Shipping may typically be arranged on smaller items by Silver Lake Auction LLC at actual postage rates. No fees or other charges will occur unless shipping the item requires more than 30 minutes of our time. Silver Lake Auction LLC makes no warranty with respect to shipping items. It is recommended that shipping for larger items be arranged with third party shipping companies by the buyer. only please.

PREVIEW will be by appointment (call or text 903 875 9458) the Friday and Saturday before the sale. Auction is online at the Hibid auction site. Bidders may also place absentee bids by calling or texting the auctioneer up to the day before the auction. Auction items begin closing Sunday afternoon 9/18/22 at 1pm. Closing process used by Hibid will be "soft close" meaning if someone bids at the last instant the closing will be delayed for a few moments longer giving others the opportunity to bid.

There are 4 Daisy BB guns in this auction, all of them cock and fire.  This one has a buck / stag head engraved on the handle.  There is also a Model 1894 and 2 Red Ryders in this sale. This is a 1928 roll of vendor invoices and delivery tickets from Banks and Burke general store that was located in Powell, Texas in eastern Navarro County near Kerens.  Many of them are from grocery and hardware distributors in the Corsicana area. 1923 MASTER 1 cent gumball / candy machine.  Has the key that fits both the top and the money bin.  We tested it with a penny and it turned and worked. 30 rounds vintage Dominion 455 Colt ammo.  There is a lot of old vintage ammo in this sale. miscellaneous advertising ephemera includes Dr Pepper carton, Coca Cola Ads, 1950s Sterling supply company catalog, Ladies almanac, whiskey ads, Stan Musial (baseball great) aftershave ad, booklets about inventors Mr Goodyear and Mr Diesel old can label, etc. Miniature Katana / samurai swords brought back from overseas by a US soldier in the 1950s .  The metal sword has Dragons on it and has its wooden case.  The smaller sword is probably a letter opener. Old US military payment certificates scrip currency issued by USA to soldiers overseas.  These were brought home by a US soldier in the 1950s from the orient. 45 piece US coin collection.  1923 S US Peace silver dollar, minted in San Francisco California, 2 old standing liberty quarters dated 1926 1928, 2 V nickels dated 1907 1912, and a roll of 40 1965 Washington quarters which are 40 per cent silver. 2 Christmas 1970 silver art bars issued by Franklin Mint in their original cases.   These are quite heavy , well over 2 ounces each. 1934 silver certificate $10 bill variety with blue seals.   Lone Star Beer pressed steel or tin litho advertising calendar in Spanish.  All the cards for the months and days are complete. Vintage pair of cowboy boot western spurs. Leathers look to be in good shape and both spurs are marked KELLY. 2 DAM troll dolls, a male and female(not pictured here) are in this auction.  These are from the 1960s, think the eyes may be glass.  This one is marked DAM on the back and the girl is marked C64.  Old cowboy boot western rodeo spurs. The leather looks to be in good shape and both spurs are marked CROCKETT. 5 pieces of Asian art.  The 2 musician prints at left are framed under glass and have faux bamboo wooden frames, flute player and harp player.  The 2 at bottom right are watercolor paintings, appear to be Japanese.  The yellow critter is a Haruko Tiger, don't know about the horse.  We think the dragon is acrylic on cardboard, not positive but he is creepy. Postcard album is dated 1876 on the back.  Comes with all the postcards in the photo.  Some are very old and some are not.  Some are used with stamps and inscriptions and some are not.  Exxon gas pump metal sign "Tiger in my Tank" advertising.  Plus a street sign for Stovall Street. Porcelain over metal Pepsi Cola America's biggest Nickel's Worth sign 5 cents soda advertising sign. We have numerous fixed blade knives in this auction.  This one is damascus steel with tooled leather sheath and looks to be a bone handle.  Old brass porch lantern light fixtures with the crinkled hat tops and wire cages.  ArchitecturalThis Uncle Wiggily and Baby Bunty book is in a larger lot of old children's books. There are 2 lots of old airplane gauges in this auction. This is one of them. 160 pound Hanson brass and steel cotton scales.  These date to the 1930s 40s era and would have been used by cotton pickers to weigh their cotton sacks at the end of the day.
