THE ALFRED GEORGE AND LAURA YOUENS HOME

This beautiful Victorian home built in 1904 has sold. The current owners bought the house in 1987 and lovingly restored the entire house keeping most of the original floors, woodwork, windows and doors. The family filled the house with furniture and decor appropriate to the age of the house. After the passing of their father, who led the restoration, the family decided to entrust the home to new owners to continue the tradition of caring for the house. The house contains many antiques, nautical art and decor, clocks, Galveston books, collectibles and ephemera. The garden has 3 large architectural pieces from the Galveston Buccaneer Hotel.
