This week we have an eclectic multi-generation Estate Sale in the Kensington Gardens neighborhood of Garland. The one-story, traditional rambler is packed with an interesting mix of vintage to current items. We have men’s & women’s clothing (size medium to 4X) including shoes and purses. We have a large set of Yamaha Drums, a Banjo, a Mandolin and a Bass electric Guitar along with a Coronet plus lots of extras. There is costume and sterling jewelry, great furniture, and plenty of kitchen stuff including small appliances, dishes & china, assorted pots and pans, and small gadgets. We have electronics, cameras, and televisions: (LG flat screens & traditional TV’s). We have antique and modern furniture, bedding, three sewing machines, and lots of office items including a Toshiba Satellite Laptop Computer with Windows 7. We also have lots of vintage cameras and costume and sterling jewelry. Come early for the best selection! We will limit the number of people in the house and will distribute sequential numbers to those who are waiting to enter. Thank you for your patience!
Entry / Dining Room / Checkout Area – features a nice buffet with marble top and two doors for storage. We have a nice multi-drawer and single glass door storage unit. This unit is all wood and is a versatile item. This room has a vintage (antique) buffet with middle drawers and single door on each end for more storage. This piece is in good condition. We have two identical five-shelf graduated units. They lean against the wall and are great for storage or display. We also have three trays of new to used perfume along with some nice costume jewelry including; earrings, pins, bracelets and necklaces. We have some sterling jewelry including; necklaces, earrings and rings. We also have small advertising buttons, angel pins, key chains, and a basket of vintage earrings including a Spadem silk scarf 265/500.
Living Room – features a nice framed print of Whispers of Spring Pedro Monsted 1859 – 1941. We have a nice modern Love Seat in light colored fabric. We have two glass top oval side tables with sturdy iron bases and a matching oval glass top coffee table with a sturdy iron base. This set is fantastic! We have lots of wall art and a couple of nice pole lamps in this room. There is a brown powered reclining love seat. This love seat is modern and very comfortable. We have a brown recliner that also rocks and matches the love seat. We have a nice round area rug and a great square coffee table with four squares of beveled glass. We also have a matching sofa / entry table and a six-sided end table. Both of these are in great condition, and they have beveled glass inserts on top. The hearth and mantel have lots of interesting collectables, and we encourage you to come early for the best selection. We have a bar area in this Livingroom which is full of interesting glasses and lots of collectable shot glasses. We have a service for twelve of Noritake China ivory pattern - Mantelone. There is a single setting on top of the three boxes of china, and the extras like the oval platters, vegetable s bowls and the gravy, and sugar and creamer are in the boxes. Please ask for help if you are interested. Thank you! This room has collectable birds much like those displayed in the kitchen and some nice table lamps with and without shades (BNI).
Kitchen / Eating Area – features a Black side-by-side Samsung refrigerator / freezer in great (like new) condition. There is a nice island on casters with two doors and one drawer for added storage. We have a large selection of small appliances. We have a microwave oven with carousel by Panasonic, and we have multiple sets of flatware. There is a stainless Cuisinart coffee maker, a white Sunbeam coffee maker, two Osterizer blenders, an AROMA Showtime Rotisserie and BBQ maker, an Aroma Cool Fry, a Presto grill, and a warmer with drawer. There is a nice Bella rocket blender and a Magic bullet blender with accessories. We also have a Presto Grill, a Hamilton Beach Stay and Go slow cooker, Rival Crock Pot, Black & Decker and Sunbeam electric knifes, and a Haler stainless toaster, a Sunbeam Mixmaster, an ice cream maker, a West Bend can opener, a Cuisinart Can opener, and a Black & Decker coffee grinder among many other appliances. We have plenty of knives, from paring knives to large slicing and dicing knives. There are plenty of utensils to help make things easier in the kitchen. We have assorted bowls and glasses along with some extra-large coffee / beverage cups. We have a nice set of flower Mikasa china, Illusions China, and Sango dishes. We have Asian dish sets and Pyrex baking dishes along with Corning Ware sets. There is a double tray stand for serving (stationary), a Naugahyde bar stool, and two boxes of cook books, There are also multiple trays, various sizes and shapes of cutting boards, salt & pepper sets, tea cups, covered baking dishes, pie plates, bowls, and much more. We have canning jars, an add-a-shelf, and drainers. We have all sorts of pots and pans along with assorted roasters. . We have a collection of birds, a large set of Mushroom canisters, a pitcher, cups, a soup tureen, and a tea pot. We have a table with one larger leaf and four arm chairs on casters. There are serving dishes, some Depression glass, and an Anker Hocking punch bowl set. We have a Cake Keeper with glass top and more serving dishes and platers. There is a nice area rug as well.
Family Room – features assorted vintage electronics, some musical instruments, some TV’s, a vintage Olympus VHS Digital video camera VX-S405, a Sharp LPC Liquid Crystal Projector XV-100, a Bausch & Lomb Tri- Pod, a Velbon Tri-Pod VGB-3, a Panasonic Editing Controller AG-A750, a Panasonic 1998 TV, and an RVCA X-Box ready TV. We have a Bausch & Lomb Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope #4000, an LG Flat Screen 50” TV, and an LG Flat Screen 32” TV. We have a Panasonic Color Video Monitor CT-HOMA, a Panasonic Color Video Monitor a CT-1331V and a Panasonic Color Video Monitor CT-1331Y. We also have a Toshiba DVD Player SD-K740 a Sears 8mm Zoom, AWIA Speakers (2) # SX-55 and a Sears Tower Light Bar CAT, # 66-30. There is also a Yamaha 10-Piece Drum Set, There are many drum cases and some assorted microphone parts and stands. We also have a Kay Mandolin, and a Dean 6 String Banjo, a Memphis Bass Electric Guitar, a Cube – 60 AMP #Cube-60, a Yamaha AMP #EMR-80, Yamaha Speaker #Fifty 210, and Marshal Amp MG #15DFX. There is also a Coronet with case. In addition to this we have a Mid-Century Modern Star Burst Clock in great condition; two awesome framed Bird Pictures by M. Soggins, and a fabric arm chair. There are also some books, a few CD’s, and some DVD’s along with some 33 Vinyl Records. We even have some vintage letter jackets. We have some figurines of angels on the book shelves. We also have some music stands and other music accessories. There is a vintage mirror with gold design. We also have assorted remotes. This room is packed with lots of stuff, so come early for the best selection.
Front Bedroom – features Men’s Clothing, Office supplies, and a laptop computer. We have a nice vintage Hanging Lamp (BNI), a nice folding table in black and beige wood. We have hanging mirrors and pictures along with other wall art. We have an adjustable computer chair with arms. There is a nice Wood Single Drawer Desk with matching Bench and Mirror – a very nice set. We also have a metal desk with a few open slots for paper. We have assorted vintage cameras and accessories. We have a nice area rug and a vintage chest. We also have a Mid-Century three light Pole Lamp in excellent condition – these are hard to find in this condition. We have all sorts of gadgets and accessories for the office. We assorted table lamps - some with shades (BNI). There is a lighted Display / TV / Electronics wall unit. It has one glass shelf. We have men’s clothing and shoes including hats. Some of the clothing labels are: Saddlebred, Petrocelli, Chaps, Elkrifgem Richman, Hart, Schaffer and Marx, and Pierre Cardin. The men’s shoes are Johnson and Murphy. There is some very interesting wall art. We have all sorts of Towels and two printers. One is a Kodak and the other is a Canon. There is a flower arrangement on top of the display unit. We have a nice Glider Rocker and some men’s suits. We have assorted computer cables and accessories along with a Toshiba Satellite laptop computer with Windows 7.
Middle Bedroom – features sewing and crafts. We have a round table with lots of stuffed animals. Then we have three sewing machines. One is a Sears Kenmore Zig-Zag #1805 with extra accessories and a wood cabinet. There is a vintage Singer Sewing Machine that says; The Singer Manufacturing Company – Great Britain and it’s in a vintage wood cabinet. Then we have a third sewing machine that is a Carl’s Zig Zag in a nice wood cabinet. There is a small pillow top vanity stool with metal legs. We have some fun Christmas sweaters, vests, and blouses along with a winter Christmas painting behind the door. There is a vintage Angel print with interesting frame. We have felt hangers and plastic hangers for sale. There are two Shepard’s costumes, wrapping paper, an Oval Mirror and a nice Glass Shelf unit. There is a nice assortment of sewing notions and some fabric. We have a nice wood Corner Shelf unit with four shelves. We have some very interesting and cute Mop Dolls, like new luggage, pillows and a colorful rooster on clear glass. We have several nice Baskets and Sewing totes as well. There is a nice display of vintage Craft books and a metal magazine rack. This room is overflowing with interesting items. Come early for the best selection.
Jack and Jill Bathroom – features lots of Nail Polish, a Shower Hose and Head, a Foot Massager, and Ace Bandages. We have Eyeshadows, Lipsticks, and cotton ball containers. We have a Back Scratcher, Shampoos, Lotions, and Nail care products. There are curling irons, flattening irons, and hair dryers. This bathroom is packed with lots of items so come early for the best selection.
The Hall features assorted interesting framed art and clothing. Clothing labels include: Coats – Liz Claiborne Guamella (Neiman Marcus), A.M.I., Jones of New York. Sweaters – Victoria Jones and Fashion Boy. Lingerie – Warner, Victoria Secret, Vassarette, Notorious, Cacique, Izod, Maidenform, Vanity Fair and Vera Wang. We also have two lithograph art pieces by artist Ruth Perkins Safford 1892-1979. Come early for the best selection.
Master Bedroom – features bedding, clothing, purses, and shoes. The bedding includes sheets, pillow cases, comforters, bed ruffles, and throw pillows. There is a Double / Full Mattress in “like new” condition. We have a nice King Headboard. There is a free standing mirror and a nice padded Bench. We have assorted ladies shoes. The labels include: Guess, Restricted, Selby, Born, Clarks, Easy Spirit, Sketchers, Earth, Karen Scott, Bass, Crocs, Joe Boxer, and Cuddlers. We have lots of women’s clothing. Labels include: White Stag, CATO, Charter Club, Faded Glory, Old Navy, Topaz, Anthony Richards, Joan Rivers, Olivia Sky, Nicola, Drapers & Damon’s, Sonoma, Express, Cold Water Creek, Roman’s, D & Co, Josephine Chaus, and Passport. We have an antique Chest of Drawers and an antique Double Dresser. Some repair is needed on both units. We have a food bed tray and a small cotton rug. There are socks, panties and bras, and knit tops with short, ¾-length, and long sleeve. We have a king bed frame and lots of blankets. Some are crocheted. We have lots of bed pillows. We have some interesting framed art around the room as well. We have lots of medium size to large purses. Brands include: Coach, Fossil, Cynthia Rowley, Minicci, Nicole and Carlos. We also have shoe racks and very nice table lamps with and without shades (BNI). We have an awesome gold-framed mirror and a nice vintage bedroom chair with arms. There are also some nice little boxes, a large wood jewelry box, and many wallets, coin purses and more. There are hand-held fans, hankies, and hats. We have some interesting trinkets as well. This room is packed, so come early for the best selection.
Sun Room – features camping stuff, exercise stuff, patio stuff & plants. We have a Pro Form 10.8x Bike Exerciser #834.21932.D, and an Intex Twin Air Matress #67718WL. It’s New!. We have a large Cedar Closet with Double doors (Key at front desk). We also have a Sear Deet Heat Back Massager. There is a nice area Rug and a dark bronze Glass top Coffee/Patio Table. We have TV Trays with stand and a PVC Chair. There is also a Sleep Apnea Machine and a nice End Table. We have a 6 foot aluminum ladder, an 18 foot aluminum ladder, and an 18 inch black vinyl party tub. We have an Angel statue (base broken). We have several live plants, folding chairs, a Crystal Chandelier, and many hanging wind chimes. There is a pair of Brass Andirons and lots of vintage pots and pans good for BBQ or Camping. There are vases, wall hangings, picture frames and some interesting décor. There is a vintage Wood Ironing Board in good condition. We have a small curio cabinet and a Smiling Sun. We also have a tub of Bibles and prayer books along with card tables and some caps. We have assorted candles and candle holders in different sizes. We have a tub of plastic storage items. On the patio we have a four-piece Maiden Water Fountain (very heavy). Come early for the best selection.
Laundry Room – features appliances & cleaning products. We have a Maytag Centennial White Washer and a Roper (by Whirlpool) White Dryer. We also have lots of cleaning products and shopping bags. There is an electric iron as well. We also have a Hotpoint Side –by-Side Fridge / Freezer (great for a garage unit).
Large Double Garage – features appliances, Christmas décor, Tools, & more. We have a Whirlpool White Washer and Dryer. We have a Saw Table and a Toro 6.0 HP Mower. We have a large Ficus Tree and two small ones. We have a Convertible Dolly (2 or 4 wheels). We have an MCM Red Chair w/Rollers and a 6-foot Christmas Tree. We have a Vintage Rain Bow Vacuum Cleaner and a vintage wood & metal Lawn chair. There is also a wooden coat / hat rack and a 4500# Hydraulic Floor Jack. We have assorted Vacs including a Bissel Vac #1701, a Hoover Dual Power Carpet Washer #FH50900, a Bissell Quick Steamer Pro #47B2Q, and a Shark Navigator Vac #NV35226. We have a Propane tank, a Craftsman Leaf Blower, and a Black & Decker Edger / Weed Eater. We have a nice Drive Bath Lift (new) for lifting up to 600 pounds. There are several shower chairs and more. We have dog clothes, toys, leashes, and dog fences. We have a nice garbage disposal (InSinkErator Badger 5 ½ HP) “new in box” unit. There are coolers, tubs, and more folding chairs. We have tool boxes and lots of hand tools. We have assorted imitation flowers, and some Christmas decorations. We have Geese with moving heads and two Ducks. They are quite real and cute. We have some Garden Tools like shovels and spades. We have several sets of crutches and wind fans. One is a table model, and one has a floor stand (they both oscillate). We also have a vintage Neiman Marcus poster. Come early for the best selection.
