This week we have a very clean Estate Sale in the quiet “Creekbend” community of Garland.  This large single story home is filled with interesting items from across the globe.  We will limit the number of folks in the house and distribute sequential numbers to those waiting to enter.  Thank you for your patience!

 

  Entry / Dining Room / Checkout Area – features some nice perfume and other interesting bottles along with a basket of vintage to current jewelry.  Note:  Please ask for help if you want to open any of the bagged Jewelry Items.  Thank You!  We also have a glass case with bagged jewelry like higher end earring, necklaces, and pins.  We have some rings (sterling & costume) along with a tray of sterling earrings and pins.  Please ask for help if you want to open any of the bagged jewelry items.  There are a few sheets of Beatles collectable trading cards glued on black paper.  We have a great brass vase with a cloisonné overlay on a great decorative wood stand.  We have collectable thimbles on a wood display hanging on the wall.  This will be sold as a set (one item) along with the certificates.  We have a great wood exceptionally nice carved antique clock from Germany in excellent condition with key.  It works great!  It comes with its own matching wood shelf.  This item is an extraordinary find.  We have a great Wood oval dining table with one leaf.  If you take out the leaf you will have an awesome round table.  The wood finish is in great condition and the top of the table is has a great finish.  The legs are nicely curved giving the table a nice soft style.   We also have an Asian flare long display table.  Could be a sofa table or used as an entry table as well.  The sides have a swirl flare (round donuts) suggesting Asian design with rounded sides.  The legs are more rounded at the corners.  The wood is in in awesome condition.

We have an original Victorian “Gone with the Wind” Lamp embossed with Cherub Angel globes in white Milk Glass from the 1800's.  Some people have nick-named this lamp a “Baby Face” lamp.  This Hurricane lamp is original and the wiring has been updated.  The top globe is large white round milk glass with a Cherub angle face surrounded by fancy design – this image is on four sides of the globe.  The bottom globe is more of a triangle shaped milk glass (unusual) with a Cherub angle face again surrounded by some nice design which is again on all four sides of the globe.  This lamp is in great condition and has “long life LED bulbs” which are included.  This lamp is a great find and is exceptionally well preserved.  We have a nice set of Haviland – Limoges / France Plates.  There are six plates in all depicting the legendary poem by Clement C. Moore – “A Visit from Saint Nicholas”.  This is a great find and a well-deserved collection.  There is a lot of cur crystal on the dining table.  The bowls are in assorted sizes from small salad or desert to a nice-size salad bowl.  We even have a two-piece cut crystal punch bowl set.  There is a Fitz & Floyd “St. Nicholas” 42-piece set by Lenox.  This Christmas set by Lenox is a great set for Christmas Parties or Lunches.  We have another great find which is a Theodore Haviland Limoges China Chocolate Pot and Tea Pot.  We have another great surprise; which is a nice set of four (4) Cups and Saucers that are also Haviland Limoges.  All these items are in great (No Chips) condition.  This is a rare find and something you will not want to pass up.

We have many small vintage to modern “After Five” clutch purses in a great basket.  There are two flower swags and a wonderful large meat platter.  We have numerous Saris in beautiful fabrics.  We have cranberry glass pieces which are signed along with some interesting carnival glass pieces.  We also have some nice cranberry glasses along with a cranberry embellished bottle.  We have a great live palm plant in an awesome two handle etched brass pot which is on a grass plant stand.  There is a basket of some vintage plated items and an inlayed three legged table.  The table top tilts to make a great display.  We have an awesome antique double-wide Breakfront, China and drawer desk with lots of storage on the bottom.  This piece is in fantastic condition, and it would be great for a special statement wall in your home.  It has four large glass doors for the china cabinet (collectables).  The four drawers in the middle are three storage drawers with the top drawer that folds down to create the hidden desk with cubbies and drawers.  The bottom sides are a single door with two shelves behind them for great storage.  This awesome antique has locking doors with the original key.  This beautiful wood piece is in great condition and is priced to sell – make sure to come early.

We have some Wedgwood Florentine Turquoise china; we have cups, saucers and salad plates.  These are priced to sell so that you can expand your set.  There are some very nice etched wine glasses along with some crystal knife rests.  And yes we have some Waterford Champaign / Martini glasses, highball glasses and a nice salad bowl.  We also have a two-piece cut crystal punch bowl; this is definitely an awesome find and just in time for your holiday parties.  We have a Queen Victoria jubilee plate 1887 along with Lourirox, France porcelain lidded pots.  The dining room is full of very interesting items and will be crowded.  Please remember to take your turn as we can only wait on one person at a time.  Thank You!

We also have two racks full of purses which are just in time for Christmas.  The designers include: Michael Kors, Coach, Adolphus, Cartier Paris, Doony & Burke, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Donna Karan – DKNY, CHANEL, Just Cavalli and Fendi.  We will only wait on one person at a time when it comes to these purses.  Please be courteous and wait your turn.  Thank You!

 

  Living / Family Room – features an awesome antique armoire that is in great condition for its age.  This item has a large closet door on left which has a full length beveled mirror.  The inside is a clothes closet with original hooks.  On the right side at the bottom there are three decorative drawers with original pulls.  Also on the right side (in the middle) is a drop down desk with original dividers and a drawer in great condition.  The right side on the top has an open shelf / display area with an original beveled mirror with decorative designed wood carvings.  This piece is in great condition and would make a grand statement in any room.  This item houses two hand carved stick puppets (Indonesian) in excellent condition.  We have a great bud vase with glass roses, and two interesting vases along with a hand-made small owl.  We also have three roll-around clothing racks full of designer and unusual global clothing items.  Make sure to come early for the best selection.  Some of the designer include:  Olive & Oak, Ellen Tracy, Habitat, Guess, H & M, Chico’s, Sam Moon, American Eagle, JCC New York, Port High Varsity, Uli Richto, Anotah, Michael Gerald, Mountain Culture, Valerie Stevens, Betty Berkley, Kasper, Harvey Bernard, Tahari, Liz Claiborne James of NY, Casual Corner and Columbia.  Clothing sizes range from Size 10 to Size 14.  Come early for the best selection. 

We have a great side table that was previously a chicken container.  This is an awesome find with four sides now being glass with the top side that swings up for storage.  There are two matching white arm chairs in good condition.  These would make a nice addition to any seating area.  They both have Pendleton wool blanket throws that match (sold separately).  We have a great brass-edged round coffee table worth a great glass center.  It is sitting on top of a very nice Asian style wood stand.  This is a great find and would make a good contribution to any room.  We have a great off beige / gold three-cushion couch with nice rounded arms.  This couch is in great condition and is comfortable.  We have a wonderful teak wood framed day bed.  Remove the pillows and you have a single (twin) bed for sleeping.  This Day bed is in great (like new) condition.  Hurry as this is also an unusual piece and will go fast.  There are some very nice throw pillows in this room, so take a look and see what we have.  There is an inlaid eight-sided table.  It is a very nice find and would make a great conversation piece.  We have a vintage Tiffany-style stained glass mood cylinder lamp that has a point / dome shape on top.  This is a rare find and would make a great addition to your home.  For your mood or reading pleasure we have an Onyx Floor Lamp with Shade (BNI).  It has an onyx shaft and base.  This is a rare find and a must have item for the discerning decorator.  There are some interesting Christmas decorations along with a few framed pictures.  The 7.5 foot tree is pre-lit and is easily set up.  We have the box in the garage for easy transport and storage. 

We have a Kuwait Carved coffee table embellished with brass and some interesting designs.  This is a great find for any room.  We also have a Jordanian artist who has his art degree along with his archeologist degree.  He has made the carved art above the fireplace.  It is a one of a kind item with its nine different squares inspired by the artist’s archeology digs.  This awesome piece of global art would be most effective art piece / addition in any room.  We have a great carved and stained large green-hue storage unit.  The inside is black and has black shelves.  The tall doors inside and outside are carved and stained in assorted colors as are that sides of this awesome storage unit.  The overall color of this unit is a shade of green.  This is a grand find and would be a welcome addition to any room in your home.  We have some Asian decorative containers with handles.  We have two matching vintage Asian Famile Rose Floral large and medium Oval Handled Bowl.  They will be sold separately.  These are also an unusual find so make sure to get here early.  We have a great leather tooled cushion with a embellished stand creating a great ottoman / small seat or foot rest.  This item comes from the Middle East.  Finally, in this room we have a great Mirrored wood vanity / secretary / closet / storage.  It is definitely an antique piece that you would be proud to have in any room of your home.  There is a great three legged round table with a great center carved center which sits on the three legs.  This table is in great condition and would be classified as vintage if not antique.  There are two vintage side chairs near the table.  They each have two pillows which are sold separately.  We have a great Kuwaiti foot stool with a nice design along with a stack of five nesting boxes.  There is a 40” VIZIO flat screen TV with a smaller TV stand with some games and electronics.  We have a bar area that has some nice glasses and bar accessories.  Come early for the best selection.

 

  Front Office – features a nice desk on legs which makes this an open bottom with some nice clawed feet.  This desk has drawers for some great storage.  There is a great executive office chair with arms with green upholstery and 5-legged caster base.  We have a pair of upholstered striped chairs with arms in great vintage condition.  We have a pair of brass and glass vintage lamps with white large shades (BNI).  There is a nice three shelf book case with some Christmas cards and interesting books and other items.  There is a table full of beautiful table linens.  There are table cloths, napkins, runners, and napkins.  Come early for the best selection for your holiday entertaining.  There is a wall curio cabinet with lots of interesting vintage collectables.  We have some nice art on the walls including some wood inlaid pictures.  There is one brown leather Parson Chair along with some interesting clothing items on the over-the-door hangers.  We have some nice towels in the alcove are along with other accessory items.  We also have two laptop PCs that both have Windows 10 installed and work great.  There is an HP Envy 4520 Printer – Print, Scan, Copy, Web and Photo.  Then we have a Satellite laptop computer by Toshiba and a HP laptop computer.  There is a smaller Apple Bluetooth keyboard. And there are some other desk type accessories.

 

  Utility Room – features some nice cleaning products and brooms, mops and other dust helpers.  We have an entire rod of vest, jackets and s few coats.  We have a nice laundry bag along with an over the door hanger full of beautiful skirts.  We have a matching Bravos Maytag MTC (Maytag Commercial Technology) with the High efficiency washer.  We also have a Bravos Maytag MTC (Maytag Commercial Technology) high efficiency Sensor Drying Electric Dryer.  Both units have a 10 year Limited Warranty.

 

  Middle Bedroom – features two vintage headboard and footboard twin beds with rails.  Each bed has a very nice mattress and box-spring.   There is a lot of twin bedding on each bed along with some women’s crop pants and some shorts.  We have a vintage simple small open bottom desk with single drawer.  There is a nice table lamp with shade (BNI).  We have some high school and college year books.  There are two small benches one at the foot of each bed.  We also have two five-shelf book cases.  We have a vintage side chair with needle point seat.  There are some really cute items on the walls.  In the corner we have a box of some really nice fabric along with a box of sewing notions.  Many of the book shelves have women’s shoes.  Most of the shoes are sizes 8 to 10.  Some of the shoe brands are:  Kenneth Cole, Talbots, Flex & Go, Vital, Dana Buchman, Isabel and Bobs  Then we have Kuwait Flats, Keen, Ecco, Fioni, Anne Klein, City Sneaker, Cole Haan, Clarks, Alfini, Italian Shoemakers and St. John’s.  We have some vintage children’s books on the shelves.  These are a nice find as we have Nancy Drew books from #1 to #56 in hard cover by Gossett & Dunlap.  We have the Great Books for children 12 volumes.  All the books are in pretty good condition for their age, so be sure to come early for these items.

 

  Master Bedroom – features assorted women’s sweaters, pants, and tops.  The sweater labels include:  James – England, BCB, Aventures, Susan Britol, Daniel Bishop, Polo and Gerry Weber.  Some of the jeans and pants are:  Ana, DKNY, Chico, Cos Jean, INC, SevenT, Lucky, Coldwater Creek, Liz Claiborne.  By the fireplace we have some great women’s boots sizes 8 to 10.  Some of the brands are:  Northwest Territory, Sorel, Stuart Weitzman, Ecco, Timberland, Candies, International Concepts, Clarks, DKNY, Puma, Thermolite, and Polar Sport.  We have a great four section Barrister with header and footer.  It’s complete.  The label inside the barrister reads; the Globe-Wernicke Company Cincinnati, Ohio.  The size is D-10 ¼ and grade is 299.  There is a four poster full bed with headboard, footboard, and side rails.  The posts are made in two parts for easier transport.  There is an antique wood chest from Italy that came through Ellis Island.  What an awesome find as there are stamps verifying this.  We have two awesome vintage arm chairs with claw feet and center wooden carving.  These chairs are a wonderful find as they are hard to find in this great condition.  We also have three benches.  Two are smaller squares and one is a rectangle bench.  All the tops upholstery matches.  We have an awesome mirror from the Middle East that has a blemish on the lower right corner.  There is a great revolving side table that was made to store books.  We have another awesome rectangular side table with an open shelf.  There are lots of nice towels and bath rugs in this room along with some awesome long dresses.  The Full bed contains all sorts of full bedding, hats, and some linen.  We also have a nice new picture frame room divider and a smaller jewelry chest.

 

  Kitchen / Eating Area - features a vintage drop down leaf table.  It’s in great condition and can be used with both leaves up (like in the pictures).  If you want one leaf up, you can place the dropped leaf against a wall.  If both the leaves are down it would make a great entry table or buffet table.  We have six (6) Windsor solid wood side chairs with turned legs.  These chairs are priced separately.  There is a carved stool / plant stand in great condition.  We have a clay bird with a live Ivy plant.  The drop leaf table has assorted Blue & White pieces on it.  We have a small curio shelf, and we have some other nice items as well.  They would make great gifts throughout the year.  There are some Willow pieces along with some glazed clay bowls.  There is also a pitcher collection.  There is a box of baking items.  We have a collection of milk glass (White, Pink, Blue and Green) mostly by Fenton and two-piece candy dishes.  There is a nice collection of deep grape glasses, a pitcher, and more.  There are also etched glasses in assorted shapes and sizes.

The vintage island even has the original small caster wheels.  It has drop down sides that are rounded so the rectangle becomes an oval.  One end has a storage drawer, and the other end has a handle to serve as a serving cart.  What a great item!  Make sure that you do not pass this one up.  We have Pyrex pie plates, casserole and loaf pans.  There are Amber pig plates with cups so they are really a cute luncheon set – how awesome!  We have a salad spinner, a clay rooster, and a duck casserole by HALL.  There are more glasses, bowls and a large wood salad bowl with the salad tosses’ along with 12 salad bowls.  We have cookbooks and more side plates.  We have casseroles by Emile Henry – France, Corning Ware, Carbone Casserole and Le Cresuet pots.  There are many small appliances including:  The El Paso Chile Company, Cook’s Essentials, Mr. Coffee, Keurig, Nutri-Bullet, Farberware Blender, Hamilton Beach Toaster, Cuisinart Juicer, Hamilton Beach Hand Mixer and Bella Hand Blender with attachments.  We have some serving pieces by Franciscan in the Apple Pattern.  There is an Oster hot plate, some German dishes, and some plastic ware containers with covers.  We have all sorts of kitchen gadgets to choose from.  There is a knife set by Schmidt Brothers (German Stainless Steel).  Come early to get the best selection.

 

  Double Garage – features a Player Piano made by Gough & Davy Hull & Grimsby - the model is The Triumph Auto London.  We have a few piano rolls.  The large center table is full of hand tools from vintage to modern.  We have some folding camping chairs, two great Wooden top folding tables which are really sturdy in two sizes.  There are coolers and a Wheelbarrow by Craftsman, a portable dolly, some cleaning items, and two vintage ice cream parlor chairs.  There is a large storage unit with double doors and shelves.  There are some power hand tools along with a hose and storage unit.  There are some Christmas Decorations and wreaths, some pump air beds, and some yard chemicals.  We have a few American rugs and a few Middle Eastern area rugs in assorted sizes.  There is a Hoover vacuum and a short step ladder.  There is an assortment of garden hand tools, hooks, and extension cords.  There is a card table and four folding chairs, some totes, and some yard chairs.  We have Christmas ornaments, two short filing cabinets, and one tall four-drawer filing cabinet.  Lastly we have a really nice BBQ Grill by Huntington Cast.  We also have two black and white lawn chairs with arms and a small round table.  There are many items that are unusual and in great condition.  Come early.

 

Front Driveway / Entrance – features some very nice rattan indoor/outdoor patio furniture including a round glass top over rattan table along with four (4) barrel shaped chairs.  We also have a matching lounge set of Rattan indoor / outdoor furniture.  There is a nice love seat, a great rectangle coffee table and two side chairs with arms.  This set also has a small side table. Most items will be priced separately.  There are also some very nice orange indoor / outdoor pillows.  There is quite a bit of yard art and pots for your plants leading up to the front door.  Come early for the best selection.
