Root-Paden Estate

This is a sale you will not want to miss!  Jane Root Paden  was the wife of James Root Paden, the Grandson of Dan Root, co-founder with Herman Brown of the Brown and Root empire!  Although Jame Paden had downsized after her husband James Paden passed away this little house packs a “Wallop”!

 Not only was Jane an accomplished watercolor artist, she was very diverse in many other mediums.  This estate is  filled with Jane’s art  as well as  many other original art works by artists she admired. There are more than 200 pieces of original Art.  Along with all this Art there is this an unprecedented collection  of artist books,  many of which are first edition and signed.   This collection of art books is part of a wonderful library of many many out of print books.  A large amount of books on every topic imaginable  has been brought from a family storage. So many, in fact that we have had to create in a “Book Mobile”!.  

This is only the beginning!  Antique and vintage Sterling, as well as silver plate.  There are several sets of China including Lenox,, Noitake, Gorham, Thun,.  Other porcelain pieces such as Royal Crown Derby,  Herend, Royal Doulton, Lladro, Kaik, J&G Meakin, Wedgwood, Royal Copenhagen and much much more! Pottery such as Roseville and Weller.
