What an honor to do an estate sale for the the family of the late John Edward "Junior" Foust III. Talk about a family with a great family history.....started in 1880 with the opening of a general mercantile store in Grapevine by J.E. "John" Foust I. The store evolved into selling furniture, appliances, radios, Victrolas, and later the family funeral home, establishing the foundation for the legacy that has been carried on for three generations. Junior was a Civil War buff and enjoyed telling stories of his great-great-grandfather John Huitt- who was a soldier in the Revolutionary War from North Carolina or his great-grandfather Thomas Huitt- a soldier in the Civil War.
So come and enjoy a little bit of history about some famous folks from Grapevine!!
