Description & Details
Benefit for Maureen Flanagan
November 2 – November 6
Blind Girl Productions will donate 50% of all sales for Maureen’s medical expenses. We will also have a jar for cash donations.
Sondra and Maureen have been good friends since early high school at Spring Branch High School (Class of ’82). Maureen has always been the care-giver type and always willing to lend a hand to those in need without hesitation. In recent years, she has taken time away from employment and has been full-time taking care of her elderly parents.
Maureen has recently been facing some health issues of her own. She recently went to a doctor because of pain in her abdomen and after an ultrasound discovered she may have a tumor on her liver and possible enlarged appendix. Due to taking care of her parents, she doesn’t have health insurance and is in need of further medical tests to determine if she has a tumor on her liver.
We all know how expensive these tests are and how fast the expenses can elevate. Maureen needs these tests so she can know what options are available. We are asking for help through our friends and local community so she can have these tests done and reach a diagnosis. We are also working on getting her benefits for future care.
Our goal is to raise/donate $1000 - $1200.
