Important Estate Sale of Longtime Houston Chronicle Film Critic Jeff Millar
This is actually the 50th Anniversary of the comic strip"Tank McNamara."
Mr. Millar's 35 plus years in journalism included over 20 years as co-creator and writer of the popular "Tank McNamara" comic strip as well as being the film critic for the Chronicle. In addition he also wrote a humor column that was featured for years in the Chronicle. He also wrote the comic strop "Second Chances" and penned the novel "Private Sector" as well as 3 plays. His estate is fabulous and includes 1000's of pieces of ephemera from original signed comic strips including some signed by other famous writers and cartoonists, t-shirts, Houston History, important photography and much more.
