the Estate of Paul & Genevieve Dué

He earned his B.S. from LSU in 1964 and graduated first in his class from LSU Law Center in 1966. He practiced law for 50 years, earning recognition in The Best Lawyers in America annually from 1995–2016. He was also a Top 100 Trial Lawyer, law professor, and president of the Louisiana Association for Justice.

She studied dental hygiene at Pensacola Junior College and worked as a hygienist for ten years before marrying Paul on January 4, 1975 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where they raised their four children.

After residing in Baton Rouge, LA, Steamboat Springs, CO, Santa Fe, NM; Paul & Genevieve also resided on a Sugar Mill & Plantation on St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands.

the Estate of Louis C. Hoffman

Louis was a devoted family-man and businessman. Born in Shreveport, LA, he married the love of his life, LouEllen, and raised two sons, Carl & Ladd. He moved to Houston to begin his sales career, eventually purchasing a Brucal's Shoes location and opening Brucettes Shoes, specializing in hard-to-find women’s sizes. His San Felipe store was his pride and joy and a local gem to those who shopped there.

He had two great passions: telling others what to do and spending money. After passing Brucettes to his manager, he moved to Carthage to grow his next love, Stillwood Estate, while building friendships with the coffee guys at Main Street Café and Bulldawg Stop.
